First and for most, I'm sorry for my bad english and I bag you pardon if that's the wrong side of the forum to ask about this, but weeks have passed and I can't find a solution anywhere!
Weeks ago I bootloaded my Xiaomi Mi 8 lite and rooted with magisk just to run Fortnite on my incompatible device (joke on me later).
Everything went good and I was (and am) able to play the game, after installing GL Tools and "editing some build.prop lines".
The lines in question are:
ro.build.flavor=
ro.product.model=
ro.product.brand=
ro.build.product=
ro.product.name=
ro.product.device=
But I saw that the face-id was no longer aviable, I can't update the phone or download magisk modules.
In my ignorance, I think that the change of brand and model are confusing my phone, can I, in any way, revert the changes? I don't want to install a new rom because the phone works flawlessy, is anywhere I can find those build.prop values just to update and download the modules?
and I FORGOT TO MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE EDITING, ANOTHER THING TO JOKE ME

Hi guys! I'm an Italian x10i (2.1) user....so sorry for my bad english!
I think ive a big problem: a week ago (more or less), trying to upgrading my android 1.6 to the newest version, i accidentally erased the file "default.prop" (simply pushing Delete instead of Edit...) from the folder "/system"....so trying to adjust it i decide to flash the new version (using Flashtool) and now it works great! But today i discovered which that file isn't in that folder! I supposed i should create a new one...can some post it to me or help me in an other way?!

Hi Guys
I (like an idiot) tried to update my Lumia 800 and 710 manually to 8170. The update went smoothly on both devices however many things dont work.. most importantly the "call" function. If i touch phone it crashes and get back to the screen it was on (home usually)
is there a way i could revert these phones to the stock rom?
Please help - i have a phone without a real dialer!

Did you install the language pack with the 8170 update? That's the usual cause of that problem.
this is the name of the cab file i flashed
diff-7.10.7740.16-7.10.8107.79-armv7-retail-microsoft.pks_c9b7f3bc5bb340ba30473b566b4557de0cf3322e
If you just used that, then no, you did not install the language pack. Do that and it'll work again
sorry a little new at WP& flashing so might ask noob questions.. but i used this file and flashed both my lumias - now the call function does not work - how do u suggest i revert / make this work? i re-flashed it again - but after the entire process my phone say "update unsuccessful"
To make it work again you need to install the language pack.
Pretty sure there is a stock .cab gloating about, either in the huge .cab thread or in the dev forum.
ah couldnt really find the stock rom, let me try installing a language pack.. be back with the result soon thanks bud!

Hi , I'm new on this forum and I'm not even an english speaker (french ) so I hope i'm on the right section, but i have some issues with my One Plus 6 and the app WA Tweaker, at first all was working like a charm with Magisk and WA Tweaker installed (any tweak or nearly any tweak was working), then I had to do some system updates for the OP6, I did it but after that and resinstalling Magisk (with the right version in regards to the new system version) some tweaks weren't working anymore (like the anti-revoke) and now the sending 100% photo quality tweak won't work anymore as well,
So i'd like to have some help from you, what should I do, I already tried to uninstall and reinstall the app but it still doesnt work, I really would need good advices from you, Hope you guys will be able to help me, or if someone has already created the same thread just give to me the link then, thx a bunch

The Japanese version is an nfc that has a completely different specification from the global version.
So if you replace the firmware with a different version in the Japanese version
I know you can't use nfc,
I wonder if it is impossible to replace the ROM with another country version
(Example: Brick)

During the volte patching process, Xperia is not only changing the efs file.
I need to change the oem file, but can I disassemble the file from modem.sin?

Hello first of all sorry my english. I speak spanish.
I have a Motorola One Macro, and I rooted it this days (I remplace boot. Img, etc etc) so have magisk. But dont have TWRP (I think) I reeaded this model dont have that thing yet so thats why I must do the boot. Img replacement thing.
My doubt: can i remplace or especially remové the bootanimation? I have fear of brick couse donnt have TWRP.. How I do a backup in that case? Or someone with the same phone al ready doit this?
I tríed to add code to build. Prop but no thing changes. I supose the only way is deleite bootanimation..
Any sugestión in welcome. Thank you guys n.n
