No 4.1 kernel, just 3.4 . But we don't need that for wifi. Just need time

Will sync repo and try fixing up some stuff tonight. Great job @atis112
Guys, is there any chance to have full working CM 10.1 for our device? And is HTC good in giving resources or not?
I come from Sony and they give resources after they release a new rom, but their phones are buggy and not quality.

We cant measure it in chance. It depends on how much dev support we get.
Does the internal storage work ? Man this is great work ! Thanks @atis112
P.s I know you mentioned storage doesn't work ? Just not clear which storage you meant ?

100% chance. I guarantee you. Im not kidding or making fun. Devs like atis112 and others dont take much time fixing stuff. Plus the reason i'm so confident is, we have kernel 3.4 (sources will also come eventually), we have OEM STOCK JB, so we dont have to backport any thing.
lets try to fix storage and wifi first, then rest.
Just compiled a build with fixes for bt,wifi, storage and gps. Lets see if it boots up

EDIT: Guys let me ask you something i dont get - why someone is asking if CM 10.1 is working with TWRP recovery? I thought you must flash provided recovery and flash rom?
(on sony phones you download rom, extract recovery, put rom on sdcard, fastboot recovery and via installed recovery/cwm you install the rom. But you def use the provided recovery)

DO NOT report bugs on this kernel to Franco.
This is an unofficial version of his legendary kernel.
Don't post about this on his thread either, we do not want to cause extra hassle and stress upon Franco.

What is it?
This kernel is basically Franco Kernel with Oxygen OS camera hal commits, so you can flash the OOS camera blobs and this kernel to get "the best of both worlds"
Bugs/To do list:
Front facing camera does not work
To make the flashlight tile to work, tap the edit icon on the quick panel and exit out of it. It should work now. Note third party flashlight apps work fine.
You MUST flash Lightning Kernel OOS before this, otherwise the camera will not work.

Thanks to @franciscofranco for his amazing work on the kernel; all credits for the kernel and features go to him. Go buy him a coffee!
And thanks to @ab123321 for aiding me add the necessary commits for OOS support in the kernel, and aiding me

I have said this before, I shall say this again:
DO NOT report bugs on this kernel to Franco.
This is an unofficial version of his legendary kernel.
Don't post about this on his thread either, we do not want to cause extra hassle and stress upon Franco.
For the best stability and updates, do not use this kernel. Go to Franco's official thread and follow his instructions
Also, please follow my instructions and read OP extremely carefully, you must flash oos blobs, lightning kernel oos and then this kernel for the camera to work.
If you find a bug, please check if I am aware of it in the OP first, and then report wiry as much information as possible.
Thanks.

Actually front camera not working on idprophecy cm14.1 with your kernel. I dont have option to switch to ffc on stock camera and cant switch to ffc on oos camera. Everything else is sweet
Are you planning to integrate this into a rom / in purenexus?

Not at the moment, I want to leave it up to the user. What if the user wants Boefella? If I implement oos blobs and this kernel they won't be able to get that kernel working.
So I will leave Purenexus' kernel as it is and give the user the choice of kernel, it is not like it is hard to flash anyway.

If stability and battery are the main considerations, would you advise using one of these kernels with miui or staying with the stock kernel?

That strongly depends on your usage pattern. But custom kernels are made to perform better than stock kernels. Every kernel has its own characteristics, some are performance biased and some biased towards battery savings. But for everyday usage I'd suggest a kernel which can balance both performance and power savings.
As far as kernels for mido which have MIUI support, I'd suggest Stormguard kernel as it is pretty well balanced.
But in the future if you plan on flashing a custom ROM then go for Franco or ElectraBlue kernel.

Tbh i don't think that miui should be used with a custom kernel, cuz the rom is already optimised. And the kernel in made to work efficiently, so in a word no tbh.
But mann why are you not trying out the custom roms if you are having an unlocked bootloader? I mean there lies a whole world of awesomeness and performance on the other side of rom world

Only because I have a problem with custom ROMs, but not with MIUI ROMs, where the phone goes into a bootloop, apparently from overheating. If I could solve that, I would certainly use custom ROMs.

If you want to like prevent overheating, then what you can do is like underclock the kernel. Setting the max frequency to something around 1.3 to 1.0 ghz will greatly help with the temps.

If you're using corvus, then the AOSP R version is for you since that it is for AOSP roms, if you use stock MIUI A11 then MIUI R is best, if you're on MIUI Android 10 then MIUI Q is best, if you're on a custom rom A10 then R0 is best.

It depends on the recovery you're using, I use Orange Fox recovery and don't need to uncheck or check anything, I am actually on Corvus os 16.6 Paradox and using agni kernel 9.8 AOSP R. So, it depends on the recovery you're using, but mostly you won't need to do that.

Don't wanna really disappoint you, but all of these videos are just fake or not even close to resembling the reality. Don't flash anything that they tell you to, I tried rooting and overclocking the CPU and GPU, flashing custom kernels, dtbo files, modules...etc, and nothing really gave me that high performance jump, it was only about 5% fps boost and that's it, it was not that big of a difference, so I would advise you to just stick with Corvus and Agni Kernel for now.

And for this, no need to do anything, leave it the way it is (checked), and flash the kernel and it would work like a charm giving you a good performance improvement in gaming. Hey guys i just wanted to know if corvus 16.6 does support any kinds of kernels or it only has limited kernel? because recently i was upgrading to corvus 16.7 but when i flash the kernel blink bootloop occurs so i format all of my data to get rid of it. That's why i wanted to know corvus 16.6 if it does support any kinds of kernel
