Does anywone´s able to install/boot OPENKIRIN for android 9 Since we have 9.1 I tried but got stuck at logo. I understand might be because its for 9.0 not for 9.x versions.
I do, but Flash 9.1.0.32 firmware with dload metod, install open kirin Rom with flash boot, It works fine. Notch is supporting
So we need TWRP for this?
No, after flashing firmware, only stock recovery, don't need to flash any. Flash open kirin Rom image with fastboot
how can i install this via stock recovery im on 9.1.0.32 firmware from dload update on lx3
i see you need and unlocked bootloader how can i do that too

Any custom rom need to unlock bootloader. See guide. If your bootloader is lock, cannot use fastboot, recovery and other things

These problems may are bugs of your ROM? Which ROM are you using? I recommend this one:

Some more experienced users say installing another kernel might help, because WiFi drivers are included in kernel... But difficult without Odin... Perhaps check out the thread about Odin connection problems:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43132016
Or try the Flashify app or Mobile Odin from Play Store for flashing another kernel. Hope this helps. I'm not a pro, but better any answer than no one

wich kernel do you think is best
I can't especially recommend one, because I didn't install one yet. But search for Dorinmanx or Gustavo's kernel. Those are the most used kernels I think.

If you want to go back to stock rom, you will have to download the stock rom if you haven't already from sammobile or any other similar website. You will have to flash the file with ODIN then factory reset. (You can brick your device if you have brickbug affected chip and unpatched rom like some ICS firmwares, 4.1.2JB is the android version you want to downgrade to).

I think there's no other way than flashing another kernel, for example with Flashify. Most kernels also include a recovery. Then it is simple to flash the stock ROM via recovery (if you have the ROM as a zip file).
Hope this helps.

Well, you didn't read any faq I guess.. Just a few words:
Root, safestrap 3.76. Start with rooting, then install latest Safestrap and you will be able to install custom roms, kernel, whatever you need.

Yes i did!
But didnt find how to flash with locked bootloader
Safestrap 3.76? i tried to find it, but no luck or you tried to put 3.75?
In my case, last time i tried to flash the stock rom it gave me FAILED (Safestrap 3.75 CM12.1)
Do you think i have to create a new rom slot and flash it there?
TIA

Brother try using this TWRP -

Hi all, I'm experiencing the same problem after flashing a E1001 with Ox3: recovery boot gets stuck on OnePlus logo, and running fastboot boot twrp.zip results in Dtb not found..
Tried with stock recovery, but still no luck..
Did somebody succeed in fixing?
I don't want to hard reset!

I confirm it works perfectly.. Brilliant!! [emoji106]
Bluspark is being booted flawlessly both from recovery and fastboot.
Now I'd like to see why.. I've always been running with twrp Bluspark (older version 2.8.7.0), then recently I updated to the latest stable Twrp for onyx from twrp.me (twrp-3.0.2-0-onyx.img)
When installed aside ox2.2.3 it was perfectly working, so I flashed from it the new Ox3.. From that on, given that Android is working perfectly (BTW, Marsh makes a difference! Very very good.. ), Twrp suddenly stopped booting.
Trying around I noticed that "dtb not found" error..
Anybody can explain, so that we can avoid this in the future? What this dtb thing is??
.. And of course thanks a lot, you made my day guys!! [emoji106] [emoji106]

Either u have to flash oos3 stock recovery or bluespark v41.. Those are the only two recoveries currently working in oos3 bootloader.. Official twrp not yet supported for oos3
Yes, indeed, I noticed..
Now question is: why is recovery accessing data on system partition (which should be why it's failing looking for dtb.. It seems on OO2 is there, and on OO3 isn't anymore, or is somewhere else perhaps)?
I mean.. Recovery sw is meant for recovering sys etc.. How could it do it, if it relies on some sys partition data? Am I losing something? [emoji53]
Heads up guys, Xiaomi just released Android 7.0 Nougat on their China Beta ROM

Can anyone tell me how can i run Google Apps in my mi5 chaina dev Android 7 based rom. I can't flash gapps. In twrp it's asking device decrypt password. Any other way to flash gapps or some other way?
I've been running CM on my MI5 for quite some time. I'd like to give MIUI8 a try but am wondering:
Will flashing a Xiaomi ROM overwrite my TWRP?
Will I still be able to use TWRP to switch back to CM?
Can I keep root privileges?
Any other potential issues i should be aware of?

Do you have to use the China version? Why don't you try with international version?

Chaina rom has more functionality than the global rom. Just try once you'll see the difference

Multi window support is present in this official build?
how can flash gapps?
i flashed gapps but i cant select data sim in start.
My Mi5 fails Google's SafetyNet check after the update. Did you notice this as well? Or can it be caused by some left over data when updating from marshmallow to nougat?

Everyone, good morning!
I was using MIUI 8.2.10 Global Stable on Redmi Note 4X (4Gb and 64Gb).
I unlocked Bootloader
I installed TWRP 3.1.1-0
But the system did not start, it gets stuck in the "Mi" logo.
I had on the card the ".zip" file from MIUI 8.2.10 Global Stable, I made Full wipe and installed MIUI by TWRP. Even then the system does not start ...
What can it be?
Why did not I start the MIUI system after I installed TWRP?
Can not install MIUI by TWRP?
I'd rather install using TWRP than Miflash tools, as I think it's safer.
Either flash SuperSU or flash the zip for disabling dm-verity after flashing the ROM else the ROM won't boot

Very Thanks
thank you so much! As I already installed a custom, I will wait for MIUI 9 to leave to install. Thankfully it is possible to install by TWRP. In the case after installing the ROM, I install Root or this file Lazy disabling dm-verity, that is not need to be the two, right?

Lazy flasher is necessary to Boot a MIUI ROM after Installation of a custom recovery such AS TWRP.
For a custom ROM you don't need lazy flasher.
