Lineage ROMs Floating around? - AT&T HTC One (M8)

Bit of a long shot but does anybody have any Lineage 15.1 or 14.1 ROMs that i can get a copy of. Lineage 16 is a little much for the m8 with the lack of RAM and 5 year old processor lol
Just really love this phone. My daily driver is a Galaxy S9 right now but i miss my m8 sooooo much
RIP
HTC

I have found a copy of 14.1 and 16.0 and i have a backup of the stock ROM if anyone needs it at any point

LineageOS 14 / Why not?

Hi guys
With the arrived of Android 7 on the Elephone P9000 (finally ).
Why do not we start a project with Lineageos 14?
Unfortunately I am incompetent for this, but I'm sure there are people here capable.
I started this thread more as an incentive for us to start this port.

A current ResurrectionRemix would be much better
I am also looking forward to a new RR ☺. Love this ROM and the endless customization options.

Sure will! But all those based on Android Nougat
i dont have the feeling to miss something with android 6 to be honest, what are the main differences between the two?

[LOS15] Android Oreo unofficial?

Is there any los 15 unofficial rom for i9300?
Quick settings new material design is my favorite!!
If there are no los unofficials, could anyone make one for us?
I find it funny that both the S2 and the S4 both have one, but not the one in the middle.
Hopefully the vast memory-related tweaks help the poor S3. Any device with enough memory seems to use a minimum of 1.3gb of memory after booting.
Yea, it is funny and i hope someones working on it. Android-Andi may or may not work on it. But I think that we could have it by christmas. Its would be awesome!
non1979 has test build oreo but blocked
There seems to be no OREO update for this device:crying::crying:

Memory shouldn't be the problem since Oreo is optimized for low memory devices (Android GO configuration)

Which ROM for my kid?

My 3rd Le Max 2 arrived today, a Christmas gift for my daughter. I got my wife the same phone 1 year ago, flashed LOS, and she's still driving it today. I ordered one for myself back in March, and the display died in June So my daughter wanted a phone for Christmas. I took my chances and ordered yet another Max 2 from China.
I'm on the fence as to what to do. To flash or not to flash? I'm leaning toward flashing for the security patches, if nothing else. But of coarse I also think she'll enjoy the more android stock-like experience. Then again, Nova launcher might just save the day.
What are your opinions? What's a good stable ROM recommendation? She won't want deep customizations, etc., so more focus on stability, performance, and/or battery. We're going to try MintSIM (Tmobile) with Google Voice for a while and see how it goes. So VOLT may not matter if she's using GV for voice, although not sure. Fp unlock isn't a priority.
Thanks much!
For stability, honestly I recommend EUI as it's the OEM's software. If you'd like stuck android experience, stick to nougat roms for now. Omni is very good. So is slim. This is my opinion on it
Heyyo, I agree with KuranKaname. OmniROM is the best custom ROM for those who are unfamiliar with custom ROMs as it is built for stability and is also the only custom ROM on the Le Max 2 with official SafetyNet certification without needing any workarounds such as Magisk Hide and such.
Just to be clear, I'm talking about OmniROM 7 Nougat and not Omni 8 Oreo which are experimental builds and not official thus it doesn't have SafetyNet Certification... So stick with OmniROM 7 Nougat for meow.
I dunno how the latest builds of LineageOS are but in that thread I've seen reports of people having issues upgrading to the latest weekly builds from builds in October but no idea why that is...
Best rom for Le max2 only cuoco92 23s mm

Thanks much for the suggestions !! Just what I needed to know.

MarD, I went with OMNI. Little hickup with security settings, posted an inquiry in the OMNI thread. Can't setup fp sensor and can't use Smart Lock. But not a huge deal.
IMO, custom roms can be fussy, only because the users that come here are so PICKY !! So hats off to the devs. Sometimes everything just doesn't quite work, but it's usually much better than the alternative stock rom

Android 7.1.2 Resource usage

Hi there to everyone on XDA.
I hope someone can help me out.
I have a question...
How much resources do Android 7.1.2 use compared to Android 6.0?
The reason im asking this is, I used to have an Samsung S4.I loved that phone but, then one evening the phone just went dead and wouldn't power on again.Dont know if my screen broke or if it's the pc board itself. So I got an Huawei Y560 as replacement which is about half the specs of the S4.I flashed my Samsung from CM12 all the way up to Lineage 7.1 and even used RR 5.8.XDA really changed my world and made me appreciate my phone so much more.Amazing work the developers do here on this site.
Anyhow my S4 ran all these roms flawlessly(Well obviously because the roms was made for the phone),but I am now a bit concerned about flashing my Y560 being at ½ the hardware the Samsung had.
Will the roms mentioned above run smoothly and will I have enough memory to run big apps (memory consuming apps),will the cpu keep up running multiple apps? All these questions make me a bit hesitant.
My main concern is about Nougat (7.1.2) I'm pretty sure 6.0 will run without problems, but I really want to flash Nougat.I will appreciate any help you guys can give me.
Thanks
Kind Regards

AospExtended vs HavocOS vs PixysOS

As from the title, I really don't know which one to install.
I aim at battery duration and stability mostly. Don't care that much about customization. Coming from stock.
Have anyone tried them all? Really don't see how much they differ.
Also i'd like NOT to have root access by default. Think that's a pretty bad idea on a smartphone
I have used all three of them on my Redmi Note 4 and while I loved AEX, development is more or less dead. Recently gave a shot to Pixys and Havoc and found Pixys to be better personally although none of them are as polished as AEX used to be.
