Unable to boot - Sony Xperia X Questions & Answers

Hello !
So 2-3 months ago I flashed my phone and installed Lineage OS, everything was working perfectly
But today, I was on Snapchat sending a message and my phone turned off for no reason, I tried turning it on, I get the message that my device is untrusted as usual, Sony logo, then it crashes and shutdown.
I tried to boot on recovery mode with TWRP but it won't and crashes.
I also noticed that when I turn on my phone I sometime get a weird pattern on the screen, just like when a GPU is dead on PC.
Anyone has also encountered this problem ? If so, is there a way to fix it ? I don't mind turning back to stock OS as long as it works again.
Thanks for your help !

Alright, so I had some ideas but none of them worked :
- Using XperiaCompanion (Since I unlocked the bootloader it can't help)
- Tried plugging the phone to my pc while holding power down, used ADB, listed devices but it doesn't show up
Is my phone bricked ?

Try flashing stock firmware using Flashtool or Emma.

android bricked, but will still turn on just freezes during boot up

okay its an android otimus V , i rooted it a couple days ago, then i tried to install a rom via rom manager, didnt make back up, now when it restarted, the lg screen shows, then it starts to do the roms bootup and its this little animation but during this animation it freezes and thats as far as it will go. also i cant start up recovery with the vol up-home-power, the lg screen flashes, then it goes black, then has the black light up and it just stays like that for hours until i take out the battery, is there anyway to fix my phone!!
have you tried flash via kdz ?
That's how I solve my bricked problem.
In your case I suspect that you don't have any rom, it's like one PC without OS.

[Q] [HELP] Have I hard-bricked my brand new Xperia Z2?

Okay, I'm not sure exactly what you'll need to know to help, so I'll just tell you what I think is important....
Current situation:
- If I boot the phone normally it freezes at the SONY screen and goes no further.
- If I attempt to boot into recovery mode, it loads the CWM screen (logo in the middle with instructions at bottom), but no actual menu or options. After about 5 seconds, this screen disappears, the phone reboots and then gets stuck on the SONY screen.
- If I connect the phone to the computer in Flashmode Flashtool recognizes it as being connected, but regardless of what I do, after about 2mins the phone reboots, loses connection with the computer, and freezes on the SONY screen as before mentioned.
- If I connect the phone to the computer normally while stuck on the SONY screen, the PC recognizes it though doesn't allow me to do anything to it, and Flashtool says I need to install drivers (I have installed every driver that comes with Flashtool).
How I got here:
- I've rooted the phone
- I've flashed Z2_DooMLoRD_AdvStkKernel_FW-438-v05
- I've unlocked the bootloader (via Flashtool)
- I've installed [Rom][Unofficial]Slim Rom 4.4.4 based on CM11.0, ROM for the Sony Xperia Z2
The phone was okay up until this point, however I wasn't happy with the ROM so I tried to reboot into recovery mode to wipe and install Carbon. This is when the trouble began.
Now it seems I can't do anything :/
Please help. This phone is literally 3 days and it looks like I've completely screwed it >.<
Thanks!

I did try this but can't find a reliable download.
The link posted in XDA forums (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2759934) takes me to MegaUpload and for some reason the download always stalls at 44% (I've tried 3 times).
Just soft brick!!!
Just search for ftf and flashtool anywhere in internet

You're on the wrong forum mate, for the z2 go here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2
Please don't try to flash any .ftf file you downloaded from the xperia z forum, as this would hard brick your phone. Search for it in the link I posted.
Good luck

Help! Xperia Z2 (D6502) Phone not booting. (Battery Problem)

My device is not powering on because it shows that the battery level is low even though it's not.
A couple days ago my device just powered off without a prompt or anything. I was using my browser and all of a sudden it powered off. I tried to turn it on but got nothing. Then I connected it to the charger and the display showed the battery icon and the LED showed red. I tried powering on then but it wouldn't start. The Sony logo would come up and then go off again. This happened a couple times and I connected and disconnected it from the charger a couple times and after a moment it started normally. It happened again later but started back up after connecting it to a charger. The next day it happened again with the Sony logo showing and turning off again continuously and all the while the LED is red. Blinking red twice, showing the battery icon, then the Sony logo and turning off again. But now its not showing anything. I connect it to a charger which shows a red battery icon for a few seconds and then black screen but with red LED. I had LineageOS rom installed so I thought to flash stock ROM again which might solve the problem but now I can't get the device in flashmode to flash the ftf.
(IDK if this is relevant or no but a year and maybe half ago I had a problem with the battery. The phone took about 5-6 hrs of charging and discharged in 4-5 minutes. I went to the service centre and they told me it was a software problem which they fixed.)
Can anyone suggest on what to do? Any help will be appreciated.

this might seem irrelevant but trust it isn't, if you have the TA partition already backed up you should restore it, when you do your problem would be solved, I had same issues, and it turns out that the TA partition contains everything the phone should do to boot up, and what to do, its like a blueprint that the phone follows, I restored the phones TA partition and everything was fine again, flash advanced kernel TWRP via fastboot in flashtool, and instal a stock firmware from there and as soon as you can boot the phone in the system restore the TA partition and flash stock ROM via the Xperia Companion, Thats exactly how I solved my issue

After install new EMUi 9.1, my Honor 9 went to bootloop and I can not escape

Good Morning,
Friday night I downloaded the new EMUI 9.1., the official version, and I installed it during the night.
I used my phone all the Saturday but it was extremly slow. I swiched off my phone several times but it never helped me.
At some point in the afternoon, the phone is reseted alone and I have not been able to use it anymore.
The phone only resets itself: it turns on, reaches the blue screen that says "Honor" and resets again. It can not be turned off.
I tried to do a HW reset (power off + volume up) but nothing happens: it reaches the blue screen and it resets again, and again and again...
The only interaction I can have is with the "Fastboot & Rescue mode" screen. Here I get the error: AP_S_Abnormal 64.
Phone Locked FRP lock.
And nothing more.
Would someone be so kind to help me or give me some recommendation/advice of what I can do?
Thank you
From where did you get EMUI 9.1?
I think he meant 9.0 and not 9.1

So because :
- your device reboot itself to bootloader mode because 'AP_S_Abnormal 64'
- Phone is Locked FRP lock
- you don't manage to enter recovery mode to do a full wipe / factory restore
You could :
- download and use a dload package with an sd/card or an USB-OTG flashdrive in dload mode.
- or use Honor service center help
- or try again and again to boot right to recovery mode to format.
- or try erecovery restore via wifi in erecovery mode
- or try Hisuite Restore option
I think they all will restore your device to factory stock, meaning the actual user datas would be lost...
---------- Post added at 14:51 ---------- Previous post was at 14:45 ----------
Pro tips to enter recovery mode :
-USB must be unplugged (not plugged to computer)
-Hold VolumeUp key BEFORE device vibrate first at boot and keep holdind UNTIL you are in recovery mode
-Try again to reach 'recovery mode'

I updated to 9 through hisuite because no OTA update was found . tried it and rolled back to 8 cause they removed image stabiliser fron video recording . I read somewhere else that the update was pulled cause so many were having issues , but i always do a hard reset after updating and had none of the issues described , guess i was lucky.

Stuck in bootloop Neffos X1. No recovery mode.

Hello community,
I haven't posted here before, so I hope I'm not doing anything wrong.
I have a problem with my Neffos X1 and after browsing the internet for hours nothing helped so far, so I hope some of you can help me out.
My phone is stuck in a bootloop since yesterday evening. I haven't done any updates or new installations recently, so it just happened out of the blue. It loads till the Neffos logo and then restarts over and over again.
Since I can't take the battery out, I tried letting it run out of energy and then restart, but as soon as I connect it to a power source the bootloop will start again.
I read a lot about getting it in recovery mode or to try and flash it, but no matter what combination of buttons I try, nothing is happening. The phone basically doesn't react to anything and just keeps restarting. The only thing I noticed is, that when pushing both volume keys the screen will just stay black (no restarting), but after letting go the bootloop will start again.
I tried flashing it via SP Flash Tools, but the phone also doesn't react to it.
Lots of troubleshooting guides also require, that I have rooted my phone in the past, unfortunatly I haven't. I also read about unlocking the bootloader, but since my phone isn't reacting to any buttons and my laptop also doesn't seem to recognize my phone (probably because it doesn't boot proberly), that doesn't seem like a solution either.
To summarize: I'm stuck in a bootloop with no recovery mode, no rooting, no unlocking bootloader, probably can only use my laptop to do anything remotely.
So, is there anything you can think of, that might help me get out of the bootloop? Or ideas of what I may did wrong when trying the other solutions?
Thanks for any help in advance.

Try this
Download phone's Stock Firmware onto your personal computer.
Install the USB MTK Drivers - NOT ANY OTHERS (skip if you have them already installed).
Download and Launch the Smart Phone Flash Tool (SP Flash Tool)
Click the Scatter-loading button to navigate to the Stock Rom you just downloaded.
Select the Scatter File from the extracted Stock Firmware on your computer.
Select the Download Only in the SP flash tool option
Click the Download button to start the Formating process.
Connect your phone via USB to the computer>> holding volume + and volume – button of your phone at the same time or holding power button only so that the flashing process will starting working
Patiently wait for your device to be formatted.
After the formatting is done, a Big Green button will pop up on the SP Flash to show that.
Unplug phone and boot it up.
If you have a boot loop after booting your device, boot into recovery mode and do a factory reset.
Voila, you are all good.
