which twrp are you using? I use the oldest as it seems to have less errors. I primarily built this for the T230NU. I have not tested on any other..

thanks for the upload I have completely messed it up never hard bricked one before but there is a first for everything ill see if I can get it back up and runnning and get back to you I keep having fails on odin but ive tried to re write the rom and now I have a kies error message "firmware upgrade encountered an issue please select recovery mode in kies and try again" so god only knows what i have done wrong but i will keep trying it boots so not all is lost cant wait to get this rom on thank you for all of your help its appriciated
P.s. I have used t230 nu roms before and they work so hopefully i can get this done

Are you sure your trying to flash the correct software that is for the particular device?

hi this is great , i won this phone yesterday lol i was suprised , but i have my oneplus with broken os and iam so happy , so this device is only for playing and i will give it to my girlfriend i have question - how can i flash this ? and another question - if i unlock bootloader and install this etc etc.. will i be able to get device to stock for not getting warranty lost ? thank you

I installed this ROM on my phone, it somehow got me unrooted with no twrp. And I don't like it because it kicks me out of all the applications (making it unusable)

I had my t-mobile Samsung galaxy note 4 on stock 6.0.1 marshmallow ROM and then I flashed the official resurrection remix Oreo 8.1 ROM for trlte. After doing that, I found that WiFi direct had stopped working and also game audio started lagging, distorting and echoing.
Please tell me why this is happening and if anybody knows the fix for it, Please help me out. Thank you.

You seem to be familiar with the concept of flashing and incase Knowing the Threats so,I assume you have a Backup of previous ROM.Ressurection Remix has Stable ROMs for Other that AT&T and T-Mobile Devices due to the SoC.They are Very Unstable Builds and Don't Work.The Problem to all Wifi Related devices is a Binary File called bcm_dhd.bin or Others that need to be Compiled or replaced from Other Versions which Sometimes don't Work.
Firstly Inform The Devolpers of the ROM about this and Post it on their Form.Don't be a N00B and attach a Debug report.
Secondly Restore the previous version.Gain root access and Look for a Few files in System/Etc/Wifi named .bin at end copy them all and Paste them on the 8.1 ROM with same folder location and Permissions.Hopefuly This solves the Issue But if it don't then revert.And Next Time if you can't cope with a Few Bugs then don't flash a Custom ROM.8.1 is still Unstable and is Recieving Updates People are Working hard and in Time we will have a Rock Stable Setup.Happy Flashing.

I was doing some messing around with my Galaxy Note 4 and came accross the Odin files for the SM-N910A. So far the phone runs WAY cooler with this ROM and performance is exceptionally smooth, So much so that I wanted to share it with the community. I have lightly debloated it and will add more details and a heavily debloated version very soon.
ROM has been built for my SM-N910V (I use it on ATT network) Rom may work on other snapdragon variants but have not tested on Verizon or Sprint Service.

But to shorten the war by several years, it clearly says that he found the files for the 910A and then made a version for his 910V
It also clearly says ODIN, which is how you flash it
Using latest ODIN from here
Its also worth mentioning you've replied and revived a topic thats over 2 years old and no one ever tested or got involved in
The ROM is very old...i would use a more recent ROM from the first 5 or 6 active topics in this thread (lineageOS 16/XenonHD/Havoc etc) , they will have far more recent security updates etc than that old untested thing, and you will get some form of support for them, you wont with this, you will be unlikely to get any assistance with it

Since youre using the 910A, i thought you might be on the 910V, you might be more limited to the ROM's available and may want to ignore my suggestion of using the later ROM's i suggested....im sorry i dont know much about the 910A enough to direct you to a better ROM
Maybe this is the best ROM choice for you being on the 910A
Perhaps another 910A owner can make a suggestion or someone with more experience

Before I get into the issue I just want to say that I am new to this site so sorry if I do something wrong...
So I have a galaxy s2 (GT-i9100T - Australian version) and I am trying to install a custom Kali Nethunter Chroot which requires KitKat 4.4.X. After searching for ages (it seems there isn’t much support for the s2 in 2019!) I finally found a KitKat ROM. After flashing it with CWM, my poor old s2 was soft bricked! Luckily I made a backup before so I got it back... but I was wondering if there was a way to flash KitKat successfuly...
I’m pretty sure it’s possible on my device so I don’t think it’s hardware...
I have a feeling i also need to update the Kernel for it to work... if this is the case are there any KitKat kernels for this device that you could recommend?
My current Kernel is 3.0.31

For kitkat, there are CWMs for android 4.1.2 which are compatible with it and some are not.

It is not kitkat, but the old stock roms are here https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s-/GT-I9100T/ and not free. I think the i9100 and i9100T are the same, but the T is for australians.
what you can do is google the names of these roms and try to find a valid link in 2019.

Installation Instructions:
First off, make sure you are running the latest TWRP. It will be continually updated with support for this ROM's features.
Secondly, ensure at the very least, you are on a recent update. If you are not, then flash the stock ROM via Odin, and perform a system update.
Thirdly, this ROM is ONLY for the SM-J727P, also known as j7popltespr, or the J7 2017 Snapdragon.
Perform a factory reset in TWRP
Select advanced settings under 'Wipe', and wipe 'System'
Flash the LineageOS 16.0 ROM
Install any other modifications (OpenGApps (Platform ARM64, Ver. 9.0.0), and/or Magisk)
Wipe Dalvik & Cache
Reboot and wait

NOTE: I will likely not be releasing any more Lineage 16.0 builds for the J7. I wanted to get something stable out, but unfortunately some of the bugs require far more effort to resolve. This build is probably the best working one to date, so that's what's released. I hope you enjoy!

Hi , nice work there ...
just wondered if this can be ported to c7 pro coz both have similar soc ( Qualcomm MSM8953-Pro Snapdragon 626) and have common vendor ... :laugh:

We do not have a maintainer for the C7 Pro currently, but it is possible.

I got it to work but not internet . I went back to 8.1. However even after I formatted and swiped everything my phone only says have 8 gigs of storage with only 2.5 available . This only happened after flashing this rom a few times . Any idea how to fix this so phone recognizes 16 gig ? Oh and btw your rom is cool and when I have more experience may put it back on . Thank you for all your great work on J7 , I love this phone !
@Tigerevo Hello, can you give us detail about how you restored to the stock ROM 8.1? Did you use TWRP backup or do you use ODIN to flash your phone?

@minz1 I think I have I faint idea of what is causing the camera to misbehave, as I noted in another post about the quirks of the Oreo ROM in the J7 Perx, if you uninstall the stock Messages app or the Contacts app, it automatically ruin your camera, both front and rear making it unable to work while summoning any app that require them, it doesn't make the app crash or anything, it just show a black viewfinder unable to make it take a shot or record video, not even the flash. As for the LTE or by default 3G Internet, it's unfortunate that there are no open source for the Snapdragon 625 modem or binary blobs going around to interface with it. But all in all very smooth and nice running ROM for an initial Android 9.0 port to the J7 Perx

ROM Has Random Shutdowns Changed To New Battery So It's Not The Battery
YouTube Doesn't Load Or Snapchat
Everything Else Works Fine Its Just Those That I Came Across And The Ones You Mentioned
Bluetooth Connects But Audio Still Plays Through The Phone
YouTube Doesnt Work Or Snapchat,Instagram Can't Post Anything
Music Cause Phone To Reboot As Well After A Couple Of Skips The Phone Shutsdown And Reboots To Recovery
Scrolling Down Instagram And Sharing Posts Causes A Reboot To Recovery
Flashed to j727r4 and working with same bugs as mentioned. Had to flash the j7popltespr lineage 14.1 prior to flashing lineage build 16 in order for system to boot. Not sure why. Also magisk 20.0 prevents system from booting as well. Magisk 18.1 on the other hand is working. Crossing fingers for a working lineage 17.0 ?

Same problem here, grayed out options, these posts are within a few days of each other but surely this isn't something new... then again, if it is (something new), should it be taken to mean that there are indeed 'new' issues/features? Boy, now we're cooking with gasoline!
This is a solid rom, but my 'good phone' decided it needed to be in the bath (I'd already told it to be BY the bath, awaiting my requests) so now I'm all like: mllmlmm, you know? And don't even get me STARTED on spending money. Psht!

It is easy fix why just @minz1 fix it and send us zip file . I dont think this will be hard for him .
I want to learn how to make my own rom to fix my own problems and don't wait like fool to fix it :fingers-crossed:

As the developer stated in her post, this ROM will not get further updates or end up as a final release because the burden to fix those bugs are unsurmontable for a single person. Let's behave as civilized people and not start talking nonsense to just pan handle some free meal.

Yeah it is free meal .but it is professional website .and should have good staff ..not every free meal should be bad ..I don't say this is bad post or bad ROM ..I said why not just response to our problems we don't want update ..just fix this only bug and it will be very good professional free meal

Is sm-j727r4 exynos 7870 model? I want to flash this lineageos file on my sm-j727s.
