I found a thread that said OpenGapps stock can't run on mocha (Mi Pad 1) and I have the same problem. They said OpenGapps micro works.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-pad/how-to/how-to-install-lineage-os-14-1-flash-t3612306
I had to flash OpenGapps pico and everything works fine. So I compare with OpenGapps's official Gapps list.
https://github.com/opengapps/opengapps/wiki/Package-Comparison
Then try to install one by one, and I finally found that WebViewGoogle (Google's Android System WebView) cause this problem.
If you use Lineage OS's WebView, everything is OK. But Google's WebView cause Google Play Service's login part crash and crash again. You can't login to Google and no longer can use Google service like Play Store.
The easiest way to solve it is to exclude WebViewGoogle from OpenGapps. You can do it with aroma package or gapps-config.
See OpenGapps's official wiki about gapps-config
https://github.com/opengapps/opengapps/wiki/Advanced-Features-and-Options
Or use this example:
Code:
Exclude
# Remove Google WebView
WebViewGoogle
Chrome
and push it to /data/gapps-config.txt then flash super or stock OpenGapps package.
Hope it is helpful.
Update 20190712
On LineageOS 14 or higher, you also need to exclude Chrome.

Hello all -
I recently installed CyanogenMod 12 (mimicking Android 5.0.2) on my LG Optimus G At&T (E970). I then attempted to flash GApps (ARM, 5.0, pico) onto it. Every time I try, however, I boot into several errors, the annoying "Unfortunately, ... has stopped". The apps involved in this are Google Backup Transport, Google Play services, Setup Wizard, and sometimes more. I am forced to resort to a manual install of the key GApp APKs (Framework, Account Manager, Play Store, and Play Services). It would be a great help to me if I could acquire some assistance from anyone with a possible solution.
As a side note, I have used the following methods to try to install GApps:
-Standard TWRP 2.8.3.0 clean install
-Open GApps app (with root access)
-Will update after I try FlashFire app
Thanks!
UPDATE!
FlashFire works. Thanks to all who viewed.
Hi everyone!
I want to want to know how Gapps updates works.
I installed Gapps Pico for ARM64 and I want to know if I have to manually update Gapps Pico (Google PlayStore and Play services) by flashing the new version via recovery or once I have installed Gapps, it updates automatically itself.
For example, Google Apps for manufactures updates automaticallyl and you can see that Google Play Store has an Update or something.
Actually I receive apps(Instagram, WhatsApp, Norton and so on) updates perfectly but since a I have installed Gapps in February 23 (I know that is too soon to expect a Google Play Store update, but I want to know if I have to update Gapps manually or I have not worry about it) I'm asking myself about this.
Thanks for your help!

I'm sorry but I don't get what you said
If you are talking about installing apps from the play store website, me neither. I just can see which apps I have installed! But I really don't care too much about it.
I prefer lightness over some features and apps.
Have you received any update for the Play Store using Pico?
Hi, everyone. I'm a noob in custom ROM installing or Android in general so obviously my first try ended badly.
Device is LG Nexus 5 (just 5, not 5x,5p or whatnot). I chose LineageOS 14.1 to install, and followed all the steps.
OS itself installed, I believe, correctly (atleast without any errors during install), but Google Apps don't install at all.
I tried, like, every single option on opengapps dot org (choosing "ARM" platform and "7.1" Android) and there's always this message in TWRP log during install: "NO changes were made to your device".
I tried to download GApps manually afterwards, from the phone, but it's not the solution: Google Play Services are constantly crashing and connection with Google Account is interrupting.
I hope you can help me :crying:
UPD. Problem solved. There was not enough system memory
Hi,
I have a problem with apps from google play store, because some of them crash moment after start. On my last android device I had Android 7.1 without GAPPS and every app I was using worked like a charm. But I bought a new phone, which has Android 9.0, and then it all started. It is Oneplus 6T and on stock Oxygen OS with disabled Google Play Services everything works. But when I install custom ROM and I don't flash GAPPS or install microG, then apps crash after startup. I would like to avoid even microG, because of signature spoofing thing, and OpenGAPPS are totally unacceptable. Some apps are region related, but for example Duolingo is crashing too.
Thanks in advance.
how do i install google play and google play services on lineageos? {i've two devices with lineageos and i want one of them to have google because apps don't always work with aurora, like banking apps and paying apps...... etc.}
Hey, flash GAPPS with TWRP - https://opengapps.org/
Android 12 - https://nikgapps.com/
Just download GApps.zip and reboot to TWRP, and flash zip file
