Has anyone noticed the big difference in performance in Chinese compared to global. For example in antutu i only get 220k compared to 320k in chinese.Any ideas why ?
Update: There is also performance and battery increase in 2.27 CN compared to the latest 2.32 CN version.

hey have look at this screenshot..!
The person that provided me this screenshot said that he is developing a new kernel.
But then i saw the score not validated as it was red but then he said would release the kernel to select users and also he said he will be making a video on the kernel highlights.
But how did he attain such high scores???
Holy crap how is that even possible ? Who is this magician ? It doesn't look like overclock , CPU score is less important than our actual values (24000 for 1804 + 1440 MHz)
Need some explanation but wow , wait &see
ol I got almost 100k once on old guyver kernel + eu miui dev with kernel tweaks and heavy debloat on my 2GB ram model k3nzo
but thats the reason I dont trust this benchmark...
Ok so i contacted the guy named Riju and he said his work would take another week to compare before releasing it to the public.
He also mentions the support for nougat rooms and mm miui roms, quick charge 3.0,improved battery performance and better graphics with vulkan api stork
I got higher scores in 3D, CPU and RAM, BUT...UX? Wtf?

How you got this freaking benchmark?!? I've never got more than 84k! Please tell me what is your setup!

I got ~88k with AICP Nougat + Radon (stock settings) + F2FS. Nothing more.

I am using new LineageOS unofficial (7.1.1), nothing special, stock radon settings(3.4), only set the governor to Impulse.
This totally insane!!
Antutu 6.0.1 could be easily used to have a good score I don't know how, but it's in link with the kernel... I could go to 120K with guyver kernel ... but it's bug is just with antutu 6.0.1

antutu is not a good way to judge device performance.
this score is complete bs... this version of antutu can be manipulated to have this high of a score. tell this kernel creator to run a new benchmark using the latest antutu version and see how it fares.
I flash Vulkan API and android N blobs for SD650, got 86k, if overclock might near 100k, but that's too high in the image.
AIDA screenshot for Vulkan API proof.
Lol no updates yet
Kernel release?

does numbers really matter? i highly doubt there's a noticeable difference in performance between this guy's score and the typical benchmark score of our phones.

Performance will feel better for sure. Battery life, system stability, product life and thermals will suffer though. Which do you find more important is the real question I guess.
but why do u want this score overclocking means higher risk of damage an just getting 20000 more wont do any wonders, apps incompatible will stay like that. It is a great phone which in my opinion dosent need overclocking atleast for now.
can anyone suggest an oreo rom and kernel with highest performance benchmark score. battery doesn't concern me i want pure performance.
OmniROM has been moved to stable and the reviews are also quite good expect for some minor Bluetooth connectivity issues with some audio devices, which also might have been fixed by now. If you want performance stay on the ROM's stock kernel, at least for now.

if you want benchmarks, then try out stormguard kernel.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...-development/kernel-stormguard-11-08-t3702031
it overclocks the device to 2.2 ghz and for rom you can try any of the roms among LiquidRemix, Aex, Omni and aoscp.
these 4 currently provide the best oreo performance but the stormguard can greatly increase some performance in heavy usage.
(However it totally depends upon your usage, maybe the performance isnt going to be noticeable)
Please note that device performance greatly depends upon your usage, for a smoother performance try keeping a check for the running apps in background, and try to block off or removing the apps permanently which you dont even use
Guys I recently unlocked my bootloader and flashed nitrogen
Scores where around 2.4l and I flashed extreme kernel as well and had a boost of around .2 diff i.e 2.6-2.7.. stock miui global is giving me around 2.9l I know the scores are just numbers... But I'm just wondering why the difference.. please refrain from stating a custom ROM is better or stock.. just need a educated answer to this.. Thanks in advance...
on paper its a matter of optimization but in practice oxygen os port for poco scores 266k on antutu but its gaming performance is better than miui 10 roms which score 299k.
because miui recognizes benchmark apps and enables a very high performance profile (or as xiaomi calls it "thermal profile") which makes the cpu, boost to way higher numbers than what you get on aosp roms... (2.8 vs 2.4 iirc) if you find a way to make the cpu boost that high on aosp roms you can get the same score out of it...
although i suggest you never use antutu for many obvious reasons ...
i found 3dmark sling shot extreme unlimited way more reliable and consistent...
MIUI is just superior in every way ?
Thank you guys for replying this quick..sir ,the discussion is why the difference is scores.. please refrain from saying which is better..I do appreciate your opinion but we are here to hear and give opinions on the topic.. Thanks guys

Both have pros and cons. My first Poco stay with stock 10.2.3, but my daily driver goes to crdroid straight after unlock. It's your choice. If you aware of security, go deep in Los derivatives. I think the performance is result of various factors, like tweaking and optimization. Miui gave me rock solid experience with proper performance and good battery endurance, but my personal choise is Los. Stay tuned.
Regards.
I have another question guys... I wanna use root to use adaway and I'm unable to use gpay.. Any roms that I can do both? Magisk hide doesn't do the trick either
I am with Havoc OS & extreme kernel (without any tweaks) in my poco with ~250K antutu score but just using Evalution profile in thermal profile changer app gives a boost to antutu score which is around 295K.
But sorry this is not the answer you are expecting.
If I switch from miui global to xiaomi eu using the twrp method, will it be possible to update my phone using the check for update option provided in settings, or will I have to flash a zip file using twrp every time an update comes out? Also, for those people who switched from global to eu because of the horrible battery life in global, did the change improve battery life?
Can't say about battery but probably won't be much of a difference...
I switched because of missing call recording feature on global
The updater in eu rom will just download the zip for twrp basically.
It is smoother than global. Also battery life has gone better for me.
surprised missing recorder called in the dialer after putting miui 12 , does it happen to others?
Battery life is fine I guess
Camera2 API was also enabled by default so Gcam should work great tho my unit seems to be defective
Stability wise it is based on China Stable Beta so BUGGY at times
You get more features not found in Global or other releases so that's nice
And as touch goes, if you got the lag/ghosting issues like I do then it won't fix it, sorry
for me battery life is better in global rom and i don't see any deference in performance
I've recently laid my eyes on this phone due to its very convenient price and set of features I, however, am a bit bummed out by the chipset which is a Snapdragon 730g instead of the latest Snapdragon 765g found on devices of similar prices (which however lack other features hence my dilemma).
My 1st question is how is the performance generally speaking currently? Are they any noticeable slowdowns or I'm just over-thinking this?
My 2nd question is can this phone be overclocked and or undervolted? I'm asking this as I know every SOC is a bit generous with stock voltages for the frequencies they pick, so I was wondering if there are apps to lower the voltages per each frequency bin to get the most battery out of it or vice-versa, get the most performance out of the stock voltages. (I currently do this on my S7 with great results however it's just an old phone at this point hence why I'm looking at this Xiaomi)
Thanks in advance for all the answers!
We need custom kernels to be able to over/ under volt, which we currently dont have. The kernel sources were released not long ago, from what i know developers are currently working on custom kernels which will be released soon.
Performance wise, its ok. Not great but does the job especially on aosp roms as miui is ram heavy (which Mi note 10 lite has plenty of).
it's not needed and only placebo nowadays.
miui isn't ram heavy at all. I've a few apps in autostart and max. 3.2gb ram in use.
