I have issues with my banking app and contactless payments, I suspect the memory management is switching it off when it needs to be on at all times so I don;'t have to login every time I use contactless, anyone know how to make sure the phone leaves this app alone?
Found it and for anyone else interested
Hi,
Care to explain how you got to this menu?

How did you solved this? What did you turned off or on?
I thought it was battery optimization.

For me I just switched this off because the power management just kept turning the app off which obviously (censored) up contactless payments

I've disabled driving mode but my phone keeps reading off everything on screen. (Emails, facebook, etc). I've tried rebooting... powering down. Nothing works. Anyone ever encounter such a problem?
Settings- accessibility - uncheck talk back.? Might work.

Hi guys,
I recently bought an galaxy s3,
After setting it up the way I wanted it to,
Everytime I download something from the Google play Store, and exit it afterwards,
Touchwizz force closes...
Is there someone else with this problem?
Or does someone have a solution?
It's not a big problem but rather irritating!
Thanks!

if you don't mind to set up your screens again. You can try to delete touchwiz data in the apps manager.
Maybe it will solve the problem.
I had an issue with touchwiz freezing sometime, but it was before to upgrade to Jelly Bean.
Otherwise you can install Nova Launcher to replace touchwiz.
Hi,
Im looking for a good way to turn on wifi automatically when im at home or another certain location..
Until now ive been using juice defender, but its outdated and causes alot of wakelocks and doesnt work anymore like it should work..
So im looking for an app or something else which doesnt cause alot of wakelocks and works decently.
Thanks in advance guys!

Tasker is a perfectly safe and stable application.
also, if you're interested in on-location-change automated actions, i suggest to use llama (free alternative to tasker, but much inferior. Although it might just do it for you...)

Tasker, most definitely.
I use it to turn on my Wi-Fi when I get near to University, then mute everything when I connect to it's SSID. I can also use it to turn on Airplane mode when I'm in lectures on a schedule. I don't have to do anything. The GPS can drain battery a little, but if you set the polling to a decent rate (every 30 minutes?) it cna be minimalised. Plus I can charge while I'm there.
I'm new at this so don't get mad at me:
lately i installed resurrection remix rom (4.4.2), and whenever I'm watching a video on YouTube or playing 8ball(or any other game) , the screen turns of after 30 seconds if i don't touch it. it's so frustrating since I'm used to watch movies at work
what can i do?
thanks in advance

thats one solution, but the main problem came from ME disabling the ability of android system that keeps the phone awake,in app permissions (i did that in order to save some more battery life).
anyways thanks for your help.

It won't let you uninstall it. Thanks!
What app is it?
Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
Under google settings it's CONJOB-19 exposure notifications likely soon to be contact tracing. I've been ignoring updates since May as they are forcing this garbage down everyone's throats at some point. Eventually my phone locks up with "new sim card" messages if I ignore updates long enough.
This should only provide notification if you would install your health authority tracking app. Did you install anything? This is why it is active.
This is part of Google account and you can just switch it off.

"should" yeah right. These sneaky dirtbags have already proven themselves to be sneaky dirtbags. At present it is showing inactive but I don't believe that for one second. I'd like it off my phone. I looked into rooting as I've done it before on an older phone and actually successfully put a custom ROM on said older phone. But it doesn't look like this is an option yet on this phone? Not even sure that rooting would help? Thanks!
