I flashed the wrong zip file in twrp recovery.
The phone now has stock recovery. It goes into stock recovery and download mode, but won't boot into system and won't show up on com port. Any suggestion?
What did you flash? I don't know of any TWRP-flashable zip files that have stock recovery.
That's the whole point, it's a TWRP-flashable zip file so you keep TWRP.

Yep. Heat up your back plate with hair dryer and then pop off back with plastic guitar pick or credit card corner (start with straight razor blade to get the edge gap started). Then unscrew 7 tiny Phillips screw to remove wireless coil plate. Unhook battery cable. Now plug in usb-c/usb2.0 cable into win10 pc with Qualcomm drivers. You'll see "USB qdl 9008 (com3)" in Device Manager. Then buy eBay v30 repair service from FLA or Moldova (I used FLA with Tennolee) for $35 and he'll remote in and fix it for $35+tax with Octoplus box

Should install with win 8 also. Plug in usb-c end into phone charger port. Unhook the battery ribbon and make sure USB 2.0 end of cable is not plugged into PC yet (no power to phone), touch and hold the 2 test points (same as v20 test points--see photo in Reddit link below) with ends of sharp tweezers or bent tiny copper wiring 2 ends, and then have someone else plug usb2.0 end into pc (usb-c end should already be plugged into phone charger port). This should force Qualcomm USB qdl 9008 mode and pops up in Device Manager--if u have Qualcomm USB 9008 drivers installed already

No responses to Emergency mode flashing by KDZ?
Try at least with HARD RESET... Hold Power Key + Volumen Down key + Home key
When LG logo appears, release all the keys! Good luck!

First, there is no such thing as hardbrick (not anymore, most modern phones cant be hardbriked )
Be sure, u have all the drives and whatnots installed in the copmuter !

[Q] How to install a .kdz?
[A] (Tutorial thanks to @[W]ar[H]ead, confirmed working by TaZRAge)
#1) First to get into download mode:
1. Remove battery
2. Put usb to computer and phone (w/o battery)
3. Hold "Vol up" button
4. Put battery back
You will get into download mode (aka emergency mode).
#2) Unpack kdz flasher, and install msxml.msi.
#3) Run KDZ_FW_UPD.exe set "type" to 3GQCT and "phonemode" to DIAG.
#4) Choose the .kdz file to flash. Download link is under the "Downloads"
#5) Click "Launch software update" and wait. Phone must be connected in download mode(!). KDZ installer might get stuck but DO NOT disconnect it. (Unless it stays that way for a hour as a example)
NOTE: .kdz is a .kdz, you cannot extract it. If you get a .zip from the LG .kdz site you did something wrong.

You don't know what you are saying. You can HARDBRICK ANY modern device. By definition hardbrick means phone won't turn on won't respond and in some cases recognized as usb when connected to pc as usb bulk or qcom usb. etc. You damage the second bootloader and tell me what happens. You will see what you get.

first this is offtopic. Second, u are wrong ! Unless the phone is pshisicaly damaged (misfuctioning components or damaged), u cant hardbrick the phone with uploading different soft. on it (unless u change voltages and overclok, if that is possible on the device). Ofecourse they are exceptions, but all major modern manufactors, make hardbrick proof devices. Also, how exactly would u modify the emergency mode, and more important even if you could, why wold u do it !?
More on to the topic, none of the operations of rooting, bootloader installing, kdz install or CMx install , gets near the emergency mode. It remains intact.
Just retry all normal steps for installing kdz or recovery again, check the cables, all drivers on pc, and is best to have a charged phone battery.
EDIT: @kikobuendia
i found this post, same operations as mentioned in first reply, but more detailed:

No, no luck yet. Seems to be impossible.
I connect to this post cuz my d605 is also facing a similiar issue, no system, no recovery, no adb, download mode worked only twice, for the rest, only emergency mode works, phone cannot even charge.
Phone is recognized from pc, I uninstalled modem drivers but stays in Emergency only few seconds then it shuts down (not sure if its the battery, since it doesn't charge as well). It shuts down actually at the moment that LG mobile support tool seems to recognize it.
It worked couple of times, phone was keeping staying in emergency mode for the beginning of the procedure but at the moment it need to put the kdz into the phone, the phone die.
The two times download mode worked, same, just shutting down immediately. This with LG support tool or LG flashtool2014.
KDZ_FW_UPD worked the first time after install and then doesn't run anymore, on two different Win10 machines.
I have no idea how to come out of this nightmare, just want to flash it :/

I just send it to LG Hellas via the e-shop I bought it from and in about 2-3 weeks, I had my D605 back like it was brand new. I searched a lot about my D605 hard bricked and I found that it is not fixable. My phone could not go into download mode though, as yours. Hope I helped you even a lil bit. Sorry for my bad English.

Ah, you're trying to use the TOT method. Some people, including me, have lots of trouble with one method but not the other. I suggest trying the KDZ method and the 10B_01 KDZ file.
Do you have the Verizon-specific LG drivers v2.20 (in the filename, not the driver version in Device Manager)? Once the drivers are installed, plug the phone in, check Device Manager and wait until all drivers are installed - all phone related devices in the manager no longer show up as no driver installed.
Then put the phone in download mode and let it install more drivers if necessary. This could take a few minutes or 10+ minutes. It usually takes quite a while for me.
After the drivers are all installed with the phone connected, reboot the computer. Even with the drivers recognizing the phone, people have found that things won't behave correctly with the LG Flash Tools until they reboot the computer after installing the drivers.

Posting as a guest to add my experience with unbricking an LG-D280n phone...
My phone bricked when allowing an online software update from LG. The phone froze on the startup logo for hours, and download menu could not be entered, just the fatal error pink screen was displayed. LG service centre said they couldn't fix it, the online instructions using LG Flash Tool 2014 or BordDiag v2.99 wouldn't help, but then I came across the YouTube video 'LG L65 D285 DBI Err Fatal' by VARAN500. Yes, it is in Russian, no, I don't speak Russian, but it is simple enough
Treat your LG phone as a removable drive, connected via USB to a PC with the LG USB driver and the LG Mobile Support Tool installed.
In my case, when the LG phone displayed the pink screen, it also showed as a removable drive (with a 4GB disk) on the connected PC. Follow the insructions in the video for a low-level quick format of that 4GB disk, re-format it as FAT32, then write the abovementioned loader.img to that drive. Disconnect the battery, and you should now be able to go into download moade, from which you can either use the official LG app or Flash Tool with a .kdz image to re-write the firmware to your phone.
A few restarts and (irrelevant?) error messages later, my phone was working again, and to my amazement, all my data and settings were still there too!
Hope that helps other who might be in the same sitation as I was.

does anyone have a solution for this particulare phone i wont to fix this phone
Hi, I literally f**ked up my root progress with patched boot.img.
I'm using a phone that is a clone of Panasonic Eluga x1 Pro. I decided to root it with magisk patched root.img. Simply flashed the patched img with adb using "fastboot flash boot patched_boot.img" and ran "fastboot restart" to restart it to my system, it didn't booted up since. I can't go in recovery mode, the phone is literally not giving or receiving anything.

In the Device Manager on PC, it simply says "MediaTek Preloader USB VCOM (Android) (COM12)" about my phone i think.
I don't wanna be that guy but your phone is, think of a person who's alive but can't speak, move, nod, anything, for itself.
However, you may have luck, because they're still repairable, but your best bet is take it back and play dumb, they don't have the time/willingness/resources to check whether you messed with it. Went to bed, woke up, i swear, i dunno, it was like that, tsk, tsk, tsk...

Sp flash tool error screenshot
Update: I was able to resolve my issue and bring my cell phone back to life using "HYDRA EDL CABLE - V2". The EDL cable puts the Qualcomm devices in EDL mode, so that they can be flashed again using MSM tool.
-------
Recently, I was flashing stock Oxygen OS 11 firmware for my OnePlus 9r using MSM Tool. The flashing was successful (Download complete status in MSM) but the device did not boot automatically upon completion. Since then, it has been dead. I can not boot it up, enter recovery, enter fastboot or enter EDL mode. It does not even show charging signs or anything. There are no vibrations. In short, it is completely DEAD. I tried to enter EDL mode with volume buttons, but the device is not detected in device manager anymore. I do have proper Qualcomm Drivers installed.
Since I can not enter EDL mode using Volume Button combination, is there any way I can revive my device. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you so much.
@ThePGs
I'm glad you got it resolved.
But I wanted to understand what is special about this cable, does it force the cell phone to enter EDL mode?

Yes, the cable has a button attached to it, when we press it, it creates a short-circuit, just like when we open a device and short it using test-points to enter EDL mode.
Reddit user jabashque1 explained it in these words:
You installed the wrong LineageOS OTA, which wrote the wrong xbl and xbl_config image, and now your phone aborts booting when it's at the xbl stage because it detects the wrong RAM type. You can't boot into EDL mode with holding vol up + vol down and plugging your phone into your computer because the RAM type check happens before the logic for detecting whether you're holding those buttons down for EDL.
However, the logic for detecting the deep flash cable happens before the logic for detecting RAM type.

I don't know about that. I believe the safest option is just to buy the cable.

From ali express it takes 50+ days to deliver also delevery costs 8 times the price of the cable. That's why thinking of make on my own. If u have the cable u could help the community by revealing how it works

I do not know the working of hardware, therefore I can't. This might address to your question:
Make your own EDL cable
