This is my first review, so I hope it doesn't suck.
Both my wife and I have the Tilt 2. I decided to go with InvisibleShield while she wanted a case. After looking at all the comments here about cases not fitting, I decided to go with 2 different ones from Amazon. One fit horribly, so i wont even mention it.
She is using the Tilt2 Praetorian Slip and she loves it. Installation was a little tough as the fit is pretty precise. I suggest installing the top (screen) side first and then the bottom (keyboard). Install both with the KB extended. I have attached pics of the fit.
The only complaint I have (she thinks of it as a feature) is that the cover makes it a little more difficult to slide out the keyboard. She like it because it used to slide open in her purse (mostly because of the fact that she keeps it in an inside pocket of her purse which causes it to hit just right against crap she has in another pocket). Overall, this is a pretty nice cover. I am sure you can get it cheaper than amazon, but I had gift certificates to spend

Thanks for the review! I bought the same case a few months ago, although it was advertised as for the Verizon Touch Pro 2. I was unaware they made one for the Tilt 2. Now I won't have to worry about it falling off randomly!
thsi case probably wouldnt work with invisible shield on too huh

Neat.. glad yours fit. I ordered one for the Tilt2 from Amazon as well, and Boxwave sent one labeled 'Touch Pro 2'. I see yours doesn't have a cutout area for the PTT button either, do you have issues with that? My praetorian case would almost always trigger the PTT button whenever I handled the phone.
The top/screen portion of my Praetorian didn't fit right and opening and closing the top was almost impossible - even ended up ripping off the protective plastic along one side of the keyboard. (the protective plastic that is designed to be there, not the temporary stuff it whipped with) I can see just by looking at your pictures that your screen portion fits waay better than mine did.
When I contacted Boxwave about the issues, no questions asked and they sent a postage paid label for the return. I'd love to try this case again, as I did like the feel of it, but nervous about another no-fit. I went with BodyGuardz instead.. not sure I'm happy with those..

Man, sorry you had so many issues. The PTT button is indeed covered, but she has had no issues with it at all (hers is remapped to toggle bluetooth on and off). The fit on the screen portion is *very* tight. Took some effort to get it installed properly.
Also, mine definitely said "Tilt 2" on the packaging.
It is disappointing that it covers the PTT button. I assume your wife has abandoned that function (easily switching BT on/off)?
Thanks for posting reviews on this case -- I'm trying to decide what route to take to give my new Tilt 2 some added protection, and more importantly, cut down on the slickness/smudge magnet-ness of the shiny battery cover (which is my #1 gripe with the GSM TP2, both CDMA versions have rubberized covers which won't fit their GSM siblings due to the placement of the 3.5 mm jack).
I really wish someone made a rubberized battery cover to replace the shiny OEM one. These snap on type cases are okay, but they become a major pain as soon as you need to pop off the battery cover in order to flash a new ROM (as I do often), reset the device, or swap out memory cards. I worry trying to snap-in and pry off these cases frequently will damage the phone -- especially when it's a super snug fit. IMHO, a rubberized battery cover, along with perhaps the upper portion of this case to protect the chrome bezel from getting nicked would be an ideal solution! I may just go down to Home Depot this weekend and see if they have a spray that can rubberize plastic, then I might just buy a spare OEM battery cover and see if I can rubberize it.

Nope, the PTT button still works perfectly under the cover. Does not get accidentally pressed and is responsive when you push it.

Sounds like skinning/shielding your phone with GadgetShieldz might be the way to go. The GadgetShieldz does take a little time to install but it works. The protective film on the screen is easy to install and bubble free. It makes the phone non-slippery. It would not protect the phone like a case but it does prevent scratches. When installed, it adds very little weight and dimension to the phone.
Actually, there are other protective films/shields but I only have experience with GadgetShieldZ. It might work for you.

Just to report on this, I got one of these in the mail yesterday. So far I love it. It wasn't terribly difficult to get on. It fits very well too. My only real complaint is that it doesn't accommodate the PTT button that the Tilt 2 has right next to the volume buttons. It's not a big issue since I don't use PTT and the case doesn't prohibit using the key anyway.
Just be careful and make sure you order the one that specifically says it's for the Tilt 2. They make other models. I know they have the Praetorian on eBay but to be safe I opted to get mine directly from Boxwave. I got what I ordered too and could have used they're return policy if I needed.
Oh...I'll be happy to post pics if anyone wants but I think someone already put some up of this one a Tilt2.

I wish I'd seen your post sooner! Home Depot and Lowe's does indeed have something like that. I'm sure lots of hardware stores do. It's called Plasti-Dip. I have a can right here You can buy it as spray-on or dip/brush-on applications. I use it on mountain bike parts and tools for extra grip. I'm not positive how well it will stick to a slick plastic surface but it is an option.

I ordered one from BoxWave and I think I'm still going to shop around for something else. It seems like the Tilt2 has less options than the other variations of the Rhodium so people may just be settling for this due to "Slim Pickin's."
I like the way the gel gives more texture and grip to the phone, but I still feel uneasy because it's definitely not a snug fit. The part that covers the screen section of the phone is very flimsy and after you get it on, you want to keep checking it to make sure that it is attached; it feels like it can easily slip off at any time. This is specifically evident when you slide your screen up and tilt it. Tap the top right, or the middle section that really has no grip around the phone, and it might just pop off...
I still have it on my phone because it is the lesser of two evils, have something vs. not having something, but are there any other options for the Tilt2?

It's held up quiet nice...even with as much flashing I do (have to remove the bottom piece every time). I've figured out a great way to put it back on that's really fast and easy. Some people say it's difficult to get on. I think the top piece is the hard part but I've taken it off a few times and have no issues there either. It still fits good. If I remember, next time I take it off I'll shoot some pics of how I put it on and upload them.

I haven't really had any trouble with mine popping off. It took a bit to get the top on right and it was a pretty snug fit too. Getting the corner edges all the way tucked under was the hardest part. I'm guessing it's a manufacturing thing. Some say it's a tight fit and other say it's loose. I will agree that the sides on the top piece are flimsy because they're not attached the the phone but if they were it would probably make matters worse by either rubbing against the bottom piece or creating too big of a gap between the two parts of the phone.
I agree there aren't many options for the Tilt 2 and I hate to say it but there probably won't be.

If yours is a snug fit, I wonder if we received the same thing! Did you order from BoxWave? I have a little plastic tool that I used to get the corners onto the top half quickly which was actually made to fit into the creavice of a HTC Dash phone to pop the clips and take the phone apart. It works great and I can see the little flaps around the corner so you can tell the corners of the phone are between the gel lips.. It's still too easy to come off though..

Yeah I got mine directly from boxwave. They have like 3 different models of that slip. Most of the adds I saw on Amazon and eBay claimed it would fit on 3 or 4 different TP2 models which I knew it wouldn't. I emailed boxwave about the pics in their online catalog because it didn't look like a Tilt 2 to me and they admitted it wasn't. They said they didn't have one for the pics. Which made sense I mean why spend that much just to get pics but they promised it would fit so I figured what the hell. The hard covers kinda suck.

I just got the unbranded version of this case off ebay (the seller's id was e-story).
It's not too bad on my unbranded TP2. It's slightly more difficult to slide out the keyboard, and when the screen is fully tilted, the top row of keys are slightly obscured, but nothing too major in my opinion.
I like that the case improves the grip of the phone, but I'm also rather concerned that the case will eventually melt under hotter conditions since the material feels rather gummy.
*Note i have not experienced whether the product lives up to its name or not. I only JUST placed it on my device. This is simply my first impression.
**I included pictures of my device compared to the back parts of the adhesive so you can fully grasp the wonderful "custom to fit" experience.
I just now got as close to perfection as i think i am going to get with placing my "custom to fit" screen protector onto my device. At very first glance i saw that their were going to be some slight imperfections. The random circle on the top right of the adhesive was a dead giveaway. The cut out they have for the top speaker and the bottom row of buttons is hardly CLOSE to the size it should be. It is much too big. I am not sure if it is clear enough in the pictures but their is excess adhesive on the sides. I figured they may be meant to fold down to protect a minuscule amount of siding. At first i could not get it to stick on the sides. But after giving it a few minutes to settle and let the application spray* dry, it seems to be holding. However, the border has really ugly bubbles from the very tony inlay of the front of the phone. The instructions say that MICRObubbles will disappear in their own after a couple days... i hardly find these MICRObubbles though. We will see. I think it is almost supposed to have a "melting" effect on the device. Like heated plastic sort of taking the proper shape over the device.
Now we move onto the back. You will see that i have been given 3 holes instead of 2. (2 being the camera lens and the button underneath). I have no idea what the third was meant for.... I can also forget about taking the backing off of my device as it is now sealed shut with the plastic invisible shield. This doesn't bother me that much since i rarely ever have to take the back out but i know their will be a day where i will need to.
All-in-all the product LOOKS promising still. The bottom line here that i would like to make is that i have NO idea what TouchPro2 they are basing this off of. but it is far from mine. Too far. I need to check but i am also fairly certain they ask for your provider too (in case the device is different than others)
I am also still wondering about the excess sides. it is very random in the back but they make no mention of needing to trim the shield.
*They give you a spray that you use on your fingertips and the adhesive so that a. you dont give it fingerprint smudges and b. it doesnt fully stick right away so that you can "slide" it into place. I found that "sliding" it around was impossible because it still stuck but it did not stick enough to the point i was unable to retry.
I really hope this means something to somebody. Had i read something like this before hand, i may have thought longer on buying the product. I will be sure to write more in the next few days. By the feel of the material on my phone, it seems like it could work really well.
I would also love to know other people's experience with this product and even maybe correct me if anything i complained about was just due to stupidity.
It very much looks like you bought Invisible Shield for the wrong Touch Pro 2 model.

It looks like the shape of your T-Mob branded TP2 is actually quite different from the unbranded version. The shape of the shield is therefore quite different between the models, based on the pictures on the Zagg website. Also, the layout of the battery cover is totally different, which is why the cutouts on the shield don't match your battery cover. This also accounts for the 3rd small hole on this piece. In addition to the camera lens and speakerphone button, the unbranded TP2 has small holes for the speaker just below the speakerphone button, and that is what the 3rd hole in the shield is for. I'm guessing on the T-Mob version, the speaker hole is located as part of the larger cutout/hole.
Not to be mean but it's really obvious that it wasn't made for a T-Mobile Touch Pro2 and you should have known that it wasn't the right one.
Just going to the Touch Pro2 forums you can see that there's different versions of the device and ours is usually always referred as the "T-Mobile Touch Pro2" when being specific.
The cover does seem worth buying though.
Yeah i just inquired about it. I did buy the T-Mobile one and they just sent the wrong one.

Oddly, the Tilt2 had little holes in the back case in the same spot, despite the fact that it is just the battery sitting behind the holes. I always figured it was just a way to give water quick access to the battery compartment to turn that little strip pink incase we ever dropped it somewhere damp...
Does anyone have experience with this case? I know it covers the mic (I plan to drill a little hole).
I just received mine today and I must say I'm very impressed by the quality of the mold they used. Meterial seems top notch. Love this case so far, they also included the new screen protector which is a plus. Ill get pictures up ASAP. I would definetly recommend this case to anyone with an s2.

Pictures would be great! I also have a white one on the way, hopefully as I placed an order over the weekend. I intended on modding the thing to get rid/fill in the antenna hole if I ever find the time, too (or find out if it really bothers me that much).
Ok, whats the deal with the corner cutout? I've seen this on several different cases. Does the international version have some sort of pullout antenna?
Case looks nice and classy but for what they are charging they should be offering a case that's specific to the AT&T model.
I recall reading that the corner cutouts are originally for Korean model phones. The antenna was in that area for those phones.
I really like it. It's a nice mix of hard and soft materials. It's flexible, which is nice because it makes removing the case fairly easy (for those of you who want to access the phone's back cover to hot swap batteries).
For the most part, the case feels pretty smooth, which makes getting it out of the pocket an easy process (I previously used the casemate pop case and the rubber sides made it fairly annoying to pull the phone out of the pocket). The case definitely adds more grip to the phone, but overall, it still is a little bit on the slippery side. On the continuum of "slippery vs. grippy" I'd say it's a pretty good balance, but I wouldn't mind it being a little more grippy.
Even though the case is made for the international GS2, it still fits well on the AT&T SG2. The noise-cancelling mic is covered by the case, but I have not had any problems as a result of this. However, you might come into problems if you are trying to use the phone in a noisy environment. I'm a little bothered by the corner cutout for the antennae (for the international SG2) since it really leaves that corner unprotected if the phone happened to fall right on that corner. Then again, i'm just going to take my chances that i'm not going to drop my phone on that exact corner.
The case still keeps the phone very thin and sleek. Also, the case has these tiny sparkle dots that show up on the back of the case, which give off a cool effect when reflecting light. Some may say, they make the case look a little feminine, but I personally don't think they do. In all honesty, you can't even really notice them unless you look close at the case and in the right lighting.
I got the yellow ultra capsule. I've heard one person say that these cases are prone for showing up finger smudges, but at least with my yellow one, finger smudges have not been a problem.
The case covers the volume and power keys. They are still pressable and work fine, but the buttons aren't as sensitive as they are without the case. However, this difference is really negligible for me. Overall, hardware buttons work fine.
I really liked the Body Glove Mirage cases that were made for the Samsung Captivate and the Infuse. In my opinion, this case is just as good as those cases.

what does the unprotected corner look like with that case?
Maybe I can save someone else the trouble, or maybe everyone else already knows this, but... I really like the OEM Samsung flip case that comes in a few colors and replaces the back cover of the phone, keeping it very sleek and protecting the screen. I have discovered that even though sellers (Amazon & eBay, but I'm sure not Samsung) say that it will fit models i717 and N7000, there is a distinct difference.
I have bought 2 that had to be returned because they did not fit my AT&T model. The way to tell them apart is the plastic plate on the inside of the back cover with 2 little metal dots. This is the AT&T model. If the dots are missing, it's the N7000 model. The clips that hold the back cover on are slightly different on the 2 models and one won't fit the other. It is otherwise impossible to tell from the outside which is which.
I couldn't find a photo of the one with the dots (and too lazy to take one), but this is the one without.
Those dots have a purpose...The black sticker (white sticker if white cover), is the NFC antenna. That's how you know it's for the AT&T version.

As an aside, I purchased this about a month ago thinking it would work with my i717:

It didnt, but I was able to retro fit it with an exacto knife. Had to cut off two tabs completely and halve another four. Its completely secure. Just wish they made this for the i717.

What about the lack of an antenna?
With the right tools and trimming you could make it fit but it will not fit out of the box. It will not be as secure as one made for the i717

This case is nice at first but there are few issues I ran into after using them. First issue is that if you get the white cover which looks nice and clean, using for few weeks the inside fabric part gets dirty fast. Second, the gummy like glue or whatever it is called which holds the front side leather and the inner side fabric together falls apart in few weeks as well so case gets ruined and sticky so wouldnt want to use it any longer. One last thing is that if you happen to drop the phone by an accident, before it lands, the cover opens up so big possibility that your screen will hit the floor and also want to mention that the back cover actually comes off the phone (the case really is crappy when phone drops). I think the only pro part is that it is very thin (probably the thinnest flip cover case). For all the cons, using about 30bucks is not worth it in my opinion.

Looking for something to protect the body/mid-frame of my note 3, since the S-view case leaves it somewhat exposed. i've seen pictures of similar on the web - but cant find any to buy.
anyone using something like that? any ideas?

Hi I am in need of this also. Don't want a case as it makes the phone bulky but want to protect the sides for when I have it stood up in car etc. My old s3 sides got scratched before and don't want this happening to my note 3. I need like a skin sticker around the edges. Pw did you find any or if anyone knows of any please

Slickwraps? Make sure you get the full body one. I ordered the back only expecting it to come with the sides also, it didn't.

i've had those on other phones, and they were all terrible.
these stickers work with S-view cases, which was my concern - i wanted the parts the case didnt cover, protected.
since I am not a fan of s-view cover ( though I bought one ), I always use one of these;
