Hello, this summer I went in USA and I bought an LG Aristo 2 plus (T-Mobile). The T-mobile shop assistant said me that before I came back to italy, I would have given my email and they would sent me the Unlock Code (for the sim). It's ok, but I've never received this code, so I've sent an email to T-mobile and they said me that I should have used my T-mobile sim for 1 year to receive the unlock code.
I tried from the Device Unlock app, but didn't work.
Now, is there a method to unlock the phone so I can use it with other sims?
Thanks in advance.

I bought a HTC one last week for T-Mobile. I use Straight Talk and my simcard would not work in phone. I paid for a unlock code but did not have another simcard to use the code. I went into a AT&T store and the guy let me use a sim but of course the unlock code did not work. I paid for another unlock code and the next day I rooted my phone. I went back to the AT&T store and now when I put in the simcard for AT&T it does not give me the option to use unlock code.
I looked into unrooting but I have a mac and could not seem to find the T-Mobile RUU files anywhere.
Any Suggestions?
When I was pre-ordering my phone I asked if I can get the phone unlocked right away and the girl said yes...of course she lied and when I called in 4 days after having the phone they said I had to have the IMEI number active on the network for 40 days...but I'm travelling next week so I went online and ordered from sim-unlock *dot* net. I would put a link directly to it but I think it's not allowed.
They didn't have the the T-mobile G2 but they had the D802 and just the LG G2 listed, I picked the LG G2...it was 6.99 Euros, after paying I got the code withing 40 mins by email. They gave me two codes but when I went into the 2945#*801# menu I only needed the first one to unlock the network lock. I did this with my T-Mobile SIM inserted into the phone...after it said it was successful and rebooted, I tried a Philippines Sim card and it grabbed ATT networks without issue.
Hope it helps! :fingers-crossed:
Hi, I bought my Gear S in the states while I was visiting for 2 months. I wanted a Gear S to play with before I brought it back to Switzerland. T-mobile would only sell it to me if it was activated with T-mobile. I paid for the activation as he told me I could unlock it when I got back here. I had all kinds of trouble getting an unlock code from them. They told me that all I had to do was put in the new SIM and enter the code (8 digits) which I did (although the input space said..."lock code"). It still doesn't recognize the swisscom network. Did I just lock it again to T-mobile? Questions:
- How do I get back to the beginning where I can enter the unlock code again?.
- Is there a back door portal that can get me back there? there usually is..... I have tried a factory reset...doesn't work.
- is the US version locked in to the US only frequency? Doesn't seem so....
Does anyone know how to unlock the device? I hope I won't need one watch for Europe, One for the USA and one for Australia. IF so...Samsung really missed the boat.....
Many thanks for any help
I recently bought a V10 via a friend in New York from ebay. The phone is locked to tmobile but i thought it can't be that hard to unlock for my UK EE sim, wrong.
I put in my sim and used the 'unlock' app,but it failed to work so i called tmobile in the U.S but was told they can only unlock the phone to the original purchaser!!!!!!! and it seems tmobile phones won't unlock with a code either.
Im tearing my hair out here. such a lovely phone and great camera, was so excited to get it and now im stuck.
Any help much appreciated.
if the phone exists in the t-mobile database(check here: http://www.t-mobile.com/verifyIMEI.aspx), then you should at least be able to use a paid service, which would force the device to be eligible to use the unlock app.
If your IMEI is eligible you can use this service from UnlockRadar:

Read carefully the instructions.
Hi all,
I bought LG G5 in Bosnia and Herzegovina and it worked with BH Mobile SIM card. Now I have gone out of the country and put in different SIM card, and it asks me to enter network sim unlock pin. I bought phone in a store, not from the operator directly so I expected it to be unlocked.
While I'm trying to get them send me unlock code, I am also looking online for a solution, but so far I see the only possibility is to use online unlocking services. However, I see there are a lot of fake ones, so I'd like to ask if there is any reputable source for unlocking the SIM or it's best to take the phone to some of the phone service stores and ask them to unlock it for a fee?
Thank you for your help.
Regards,
