Hi, would anyone have the Three UK firmware for a XZ1? I have no wifi calling and Three state it is because i bought it from Sony unlocked and not from them. Therefore they can not allow WiFi calling. The only way is to buy a new phone from them!!
Thanks in advance.
I also have a Pixel 2 XL same issue and i am posting in that forum aswwell, so whatever one i can get the firmware for is the one i will use until i get the new 4XL on a Black friday deal hopefully.

Hi, I have also ordered the same tab which I should be get it within the next few days. When I ordered, I thought I would be able to make calls too but it seems I will be on the same boat as you mate. I have been doing some search about the same issue and I found this thread, not sure if you already know about it and if will be of any use for you. Nevertheless, this is the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2441135
Good luck and let's how's mine gonna be when it arrives!

Hi guys,
I've had this phone for just over a month now. I ordered it from amazon.co.uk. It was a third party seller. I had suspicions when first using it that something wasnt right. The phone didn't go through the initial setup when I turned it on so I had to do a factory reset. Also although I ordered it from amazon uk the phone seems to be the middle east varient L21C185B140.
Because of this I couldn't get the stock marshmallow update and instead installed cm13. Cm13 has been great for this phone but the devs are saying that the phone which weren't updated to stock marshmallow may have issues from now on with cm13. I've started experiencing this in the form of incorrect cellular signal strength displaying.
I am considering returning the phone to get a proper UK varient. I have being trying to figure out how to get it back to stock before returning but most of the methods seem to be for the US or Uk version of the phone.
Does anyone know anyway I could do this or alternatively change the phones region so I could install a stock marshmallow update?
All suggestions welcome
Thanks
Hello All!
I am fairly new to the site, and not too tech savvy, but I'm having some problems with my Verizon LG V10 I bought about 3 months ago.
I bought the unit from eBay for 300 dollars in new condition (a steal if you ask me), and it's been working great, but I have been having issues updating my phone.
I am aware that Marshmallow is out for the V10 on Verizon, yet whenever I click on check for updates, it always says no upgrade is available.
As most of you probably know, Verizon phones are unlocked, and I am using an H20 sim card, putting the phone in international mode. My question is that I'm wondering if that is the problem, or is there something else?
Thanks for your help
I thought all the V10's shipped with Marshmallow.

They actually don't.
I bought this one off of ebay, and it came with 5.1.1
I even tried the Verizon Software Updater, and thought I had it, only to find out that nothing changed, I really want to get a hold of the battery life optimization in Marshmallow
You won't get Verizon updates on another network or outside North America.
Download the kdz and upgrade it yourself
please provide kdz file working link, nowhere i can find it.
Hi Team. Picked up unlocked m10 pro from UK store. Put my 3 sim network in there and it's totally rebranded as a 3 phone (boot animation etc.) And not a factory reset clears it down. Other sims work but I want rid of it really. Any ideas? Thanks
You can't now. Only way is to rebrand it European build C432
Boy I'm glad T-Mobile doesn't do that stuff here in the US!
It's because 3 mobile UK have an exclusive to sell it on contact I believe
Thanks for the input peeps. Rang Huawei and they said ring 3 shouldn't be happening and also swap device 'again' back at carphone whorehouse. I'm no stranger to flashing stuff but there isn't a great deal out there on rebranding to C432 as stated previous. Any decent guides? Cheers

This is the thread you need to rebrand, the other option would be to go back to wherever you bought tickets, swap it for a new handset, get Vodafone SIM, and make sure that's the first sim you install, it has no branding as such, just two apps which can be removed.

I bought one as well and it's also branded 3 but that's about it, apart from the Huawei apps it's fine
Are your wanting to rebrand because of the splash screen

the rebranding for 3 is for a reason i believe but not sure, i've still not received an update from huawei regarding the re-branding of the phones when you place a 3 sim in it.
i think the reason is to allow the phone to use the 3 wifi calling without the actual app, i pixel xl won't work on 3 unless i use the app, but the mate 10 pro works. I've also heard that the wifi calling features of the phone do not work on O2 without an app, so it could be for this reason the phone updates and installs their bootloader.
Hey all I wanted to post this and maybe help anyone who has bought a carrier unlocked device from Samsung. So I bought the Samsung Note 20 SM-N981U1 and could not get the carrier specific video calling function to work (only had Google Duo as an option). I then downloaded and flashed the TMB firmware for the SM-N981U1 firmware and still no change. What I was able to figure out by going to a T-mobile store was that the model type is actually just SM-N981U and bit U1. I then downloaded that firmware and flashed it and all the carrier specific functions came back. It apparently also voids the phones warranty so you would need to flash it back if there were any problems.
I just wanted to pass along this information as I saw many chats over time on both the samsung forum and XDA so this should hopefully ease some headaches for anyone trying to figure it out.
Thanks all!
Fdi you think this might help fix the chat registration failed people including myself have been having?
