I'm starting this thread as a reference for people who might be interested in where to purchase a fast charger for their phone.
I'm currently struggling to find any information about where to buy a fast charger, since I bought the Neptune Blue version (12GB/256GB) and the only option was an EU charger, although I need a UK one. I know that we can use adaptors, but that's not a long term, optimal solution.
So I have a couple of questions for the good people in here:
Does anyone know where to buy original Supervooc 50W charger ?
Any recommendations on similarly charging 3 party chargers ?
Does the OnePlus Warp/Dash chargers work for the X2 Pro? Any tests on that?
Please do not hesitate to add your experience with Oppo's proprietary charging technology.

Exactly, it seems that Oppo haven't prepared to sell those chargers separately and the only places you can find is a 3rd party from China.
Although I'm interested if anyone has tested maybe a OnePlus Warp/Dash charger.

Here I am! Proud owner of a OP3 since 3 days ago, switched to a 12/256 x2 pro.
I just tried, as per your request, to use the Dash op charger and in the home, I get the VOOC logo while in charge. Not that bad, but definitely not a superVOOC. It charges the phone quicker than any ordinary, yet overvolted charger, but not comparable to superVOOC.
My 2 cents

How many seconds of charge per percent of battery ?
I think mine is not as quick as before, since a power outtage at home, very strange..
Almost 40 seconds per percent, so definitely not the 30min for the 100% announced.
Are you supposed to be able to see the Super VOOC logo while charging full speed ?
@KaylordTheuZ
Thnk for testing.
could you please install the app "Ampere" from the playstore? (I on the Oneplus 3 get a read out of 3500 milli ampere with the 4 amp dash charger when below may be 40%)
Could you check the ampere on the realme with that?

Yup. Just made a comparison among the dash charger and the original one.
Realme charger (SUPERVOOC) : max throughput of 1850 mA @ 4,25V
Dash charger (VOOC) : max 1470 mA @ 4,23V.

Yes, sure. In the lock screen, with the charge percentage which fastly increases by step of 0.01.
I read about your power shortage and IMHO it could be a cause of damage to these chargers. Try to do as follows: install Ampere and compare your results with mine ( just posted a feedback to another user). I set the phone in charge while the phone is already @80% of charge remaining. Don't know if in case of discharged battery the charger pulls additional current in the first minutes, I'll try this out.
I don't think Ampere gives proper readings for Dash/VOOC. You're recommended to use the engineer menu (usually *#808#) but that doesn't appear to work on the Realme X2 pro (CN version).
I have contacted their customer service and received this message:

Off course you can, but don't expect any VOOC neither superVOOC performance.
So seems UK version is non-existent. Great.
Does anyone know which adapter would allow the full capabilities of the VOOC charger?
It will comes with in the box right?
Dash charger is 20w. GSMarena said X2 Pro supports QC up to 18w.
Does anyone have any 25w or more to test?
Solution for V8 SuperCharger for Realme X2 Pro
Does anyone know where to buy original Supervooc 50W charger ?
Ans: Obviously from Oppo or Realme's official Stores and website. Do not trust Ebay or Amazon completely for that matter.
[*]Any recommendations on similarly charging 3 party chargers ?
Ans: SuperVooc is Oppo's tech but I guess original one from Oppo might be costly as compared to Realme.
[*]Does the OnePlus Warp/Dash chargers work for the X2 Pro? Any tests on that?
Ans: Works. 30w in also enough but it takes the usual 62-72 mins from 3% to 100%. Tested result. Also why won't u charge it fast in 50w speed rather than 30w,when both wattage results in pretty similar heating.
Note: Tested verdict. Any fast Supercharge tech will surely generate some heat and surely demands a battery change after 2-3 years depending on use. My 3 years+ old Oneplus 3 just had to change Battery. So I guess with 50w for Realme, its battery will run buttery smooth for max 2 years and upto 3 year with minimal use. Hope I answered upto your expectation.

Will surely work. My Mi Powerbank 10000mah 2i normally delivers 5v,2A. But will charge slowly, mine takes almost 1hr 28 mins from 12%. It surely extends battery life but is pretty slow. If u can wait that long, you can charge

Anyone use a quick charge power bank to charge P10 before? I tried to use the PINENG power bank, it says support QC 3.0 but when I use it to charge my p10, the speed is same as normal non-QC power bank output.
I even use the original cable where my phone shows super charging when I use the cable with the original charger.
Any advice on this?

P10 is not QC 3.0, they use another system called supercharger. I think.

This is basically correct. The P10/P10+ (& all the P9/Mate9 etc variants before it) do not use Qualcomm's Quick Charge technology (QC2.0/QC3.0 etc). They use Huawei's own "FCP Fast Charging" technology in 2 variations... Fast (9V2A) and Super (4.5V5A) charging.
Certainly for mains wall chargers, you can only use Huawei's own branded chargers at the moment (the Super charger one that comes with the P10 or Fast charger ones available from various places online)
For portable batteries (Power Banks), until quite recently, only the Huawei/Honor 10000mAh Power Bank would Fast charge the P9/P10 etc ( https://www.vmall.eu/uk/huawei-10000mah-quick-charge-power-bank-black-ap08q-299470/) , however it appears that the Tronsmart Presto 10000mAh Power Bank ( http://www.tronsmart.com/products/tronsmart-presto-10000mah-quick-charge-3-0-power-bank ) will now also Fast charge as well. There are no Super charging Power Banks yet available.
The only Fast/Super car charger currently available is again Huawei's own... http://consumer.huawei.com/ae-en/mobile-phones/mate9/html/Accessory.htm
If you use a Qualcomm charger/Power Bank you'll only get, at most, a 5V2A charging rate, considerably slower than Fast or Super rates although certainly not that slow.
I hate using fast chargers for built in battery, batteries degrade faster, I am using my old samsung note 2 adapter with a good quality china cable with a type C adapter, although not fast charging, the charging rate is consider faster than most phones I used.

Old thread, but hey.
I used my Note 4 with fast charging for 2+ years now.
Battery barely degraded.
(I bought a new battery from Samsung, and well, I realized that battery life indeed was horrible since forever on this device.)
Thing is, batteries die after certain recharges and time. No matter how slow you charge your new S8+ for example, it will need a battery replacement by Samsung after 2-3 years.
Fast charge is also only used (any brand) if the battery can take it.
I have original huawei powerbank 10000mAh. I charge my P10 with original usb cable. P10 show "quick charge". When i use non original usb cable then show "charging normal".

Blitzwolf BW-S9 mains charger supports FCP.
Sounds like chargers with one of these tech might be able to fast charge the Huawei (Power IQ / Ai Power / Smart Technology / VoltiQ / iSmart 2.0) at 9V 2A.
For instance i have the Aukey QC 3.0 car charger that seems to have AI power and it fast charges by Honor V 10.

I have a QC 3 wall charger from Aukey and a Easy ACC power bank also with QC3.0 but neither of these fast charge my phone.
I bought the Huawei AP08Q. Feels like great build quality.
I have a P10 and when charging my P10 with my AP08Q I don't get the "green light" that is supposed to show up if I quick charge.
How do I know if it's fast charging my P10 or not? Any way to check my phone to see that?

Xiaomi 2C 20000 FCP works
I confirm that Xiaomi 2C 20000mah power bank supports FCP as stated in it's specs. Works with my Huawei Mate 9 in fast charge mode.
You can't go wrong with it with it's price of 25$ and weight of 350g.
Hi! I'm aware that QC 3.0 powerbanks do not fast charge the mate 10. I'm also aware that Huawei has 2 variations... Fast (9V2A) and Super (4.5V5A) charging. Does anyone know of powerbanks that SUPER charge the phone (not just Fast charge)?
The main one I've seen recommended is the Huawei AP09S - but this is no longer available in most places, and where it is available, the price is around £60+ with a long delivery time. so not worth it. Are there any cheaper alternatives that people have found?
I found this article: https://www.androidauthority.com/power-banks-huawei-phones-823403/ But I think maybe that writer is not aware of Fast charge and Super Charge, and is just listing powerbanks capable of Fast charge? I'm looking for Super charge. Thanks!
There is only one powerbank with supercharge, the AP09S you already mentioned.
I got mine from tvc-mall: https://www.tvc-mall.com/details/hu...or-huawei-p10-mate-9-black-sku101705094a.html

hmm that's what I was worried about. It's adding to my list of regrets after buying a huawei phone. I'm in the UK, and TVC Mall are quoting $200+ dollars to ship it to my location. Elsewhere I've found it for ~$85- $105 but shipping is slow and its a rip off compared to the fact that QC 3.0 powerbanks can be had for $30. In that case I will probably have to go with a powerbank that supports Huawei Fast charge, and not supercharge, like the ones listed in the android authority article. Do you know how much slower it is than supercharge?

Thanks! Although postage is actually £10 in both of those, making the total cost £60, which is triple the price of equivalent QC 3.0 powerbanks, which seems like a rip-off to me! There is a video where the guy points out that it says "fast charging" on the Mate 9, so the powerbank probably does not support SuperCharge.

Fast charge should get you from zero to 100% in three hours or less, so it's not quite as bad as most people think. Just stay away from the old 5V/1A chargers!
I have to say I'm more than a little miffed by the lack of AP09Ss on AliExpress at the moment - nothing listed and all previous listings have been pulled. Don't know if they're in short supply, if Huawei's clamping down on non-retail sales, or if they've found them too expensive to post. I'll keep an eye out for them; I'm happy with my generic QC3.0 power bank at the moment (and ecstatic with my Huawei SuperCharge car adaptor), but wouldn't mind a SuperCharge power bank if I stumble on one at the right price (i.e., less than the current asking prices).
I guess the AP09S will hit European markets soon.
I saw aGerman seller shipping directly from Germany:

https://www.amazon.de/dp/B077TB39W5...de-21&linkId=60427f6a94ffbb08e525910cfb93d18a
Tried to buy one from https://www.tvc-mall.com/details/hu...or-huawei-p10-mate-9-black-sku101705094a.html, have been told it is a problem to send it to US.

Lol. Just use your phone for a while i think coming from the note 8 you will be surprised how little your need for a powerbank will be.
If you already have a powerbank keep using it. I think the price is not worth the little improvement.
I have seen it is available on amazon.co.uk. alternatively you can have a look on ebay - it should be around 50 pounds.
Of course my phone came with an original super charger 40W. I was also lucky and got a free fast wireless charging pad as an early bird package. Sadly ther was no additional charger in the package of the wireless charging package.
Does anyone know if the fast wireless charging pad is charging at fast speed with any other charger than the original super charger 40W. I tried with different chargers from different brands but Ican only get the normal speed. The only way for me to get fast wireless charging was when using the original supercharger 40W.
So my quwstion is where can I get another original supercharger 40W or is a Huawei Supercharger 22.5W also enough to fast wireless charge?

Wonder if that would work? I've been wanting to get a USB-C charger for my Dell XPS 13 laptop anyway so might just take the plunge and try this. Would be great it if charges my laptop as well as supercharge the Mate 20 Pro. Just wish they came in black. Hate white cables that get so grubby. Anyway, will test it out and post back.
I would also like to know.
Some people said getting the woreless charger is a better option, as it also includes the 40W charger in the box.
But I cannot find neither the 40W charger by itself, or the Huawei wireless charger for sale.
Anyone?
Huawei has been very vague about the Mate 20 Pro's Qi support. It just states "15W with Huawei's Supercharge tech, and you can use Qi chargers as well". But no words about the wattages here. I tried a wireless charger which was supposedly supporting Qi at 15W, but in fact it didn't charge my phone at full speed, it was MUCH slower. My guess is that you only get 15W wireless charging with Huawei's own charger, as for Qi compatibility it just seems to go up to 10W if not even less. Something similar to USB-PD support: yeah, it works and it gives a decent speed advantage, but for full speed charging you have to stick with the proprietary solution.

Guess it depends from countries. In Switzerland, both items are widely available since about 2-3 weeks, they were pretty much impossible to find before. The 40W car charger is showing up in some online stores during these days.
I agree the wireless pad is the better buying option: the charger itself doesn't cost much less than the pad+charger bundle.

I'll answer my own question - got this answer from Huawei support on where to buy a wall supercharger for the US:
"We kindly inform you that the Mate 20 Pro was not released for the US market; for this reason, we cannot directly recommend any charger specifically for your phone because we do not have it available for this region.
However, since your Mate 20 Pro supports up to 10 V / 4 A super-fast charging and is compatible with 4.5 V/5 A or 5 V/4.5 A super-fast charging, and 9 V/2 A fast charging, any supercharge with this characteristics will work fine with your device.
We recommend you to check the following product; it is original from our company and it will provide an appropriate charge for your phone: https://www.amazon.com/Huawei-4-5V5A-SuperCharge-Adapter-USB-C/dp/B06WWPBM1L"
You can try to get one from China. The China market chargers are using the layout/ pins as used in US.

You can try Aliexpress
For instance:
https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32963...id=512amp-dQKEsllYjNvTp8Xe3RW5tw1547077929184
Btw, I do not know this seller and never bought from them.
I got mine as part of an accessories bundle from Funky Huawei which probably wasn't the cheapest way to go but I knew I was getting authentic products and it arrived in a week and a half. If I remember correctly it was shipped from Taiwan so the shipping time was quicker than I expected.
The bundle (if they still have it) allows you to choose a memory card (which is hard to find in the US) and 2 other accessories . I got a 40W wall charger and the 40W car charger.
When shopping on Ali Express I've mostly had good experiences but I've heard horror stories from people who were less fortunate.
I am going away on a trip next week and will need to be able to charge on the go.
I originally ordered the Aukey PB-Y14-US power bank but I was unable to get it to charge my OnePlus 6t. It charged my wife's Pixel 3 XL with no problems.
It seems the only Dash Charging compatible power bank that I can find is the Sdoutech which has mixed reviews.
I am looking for something that is 20000 or more as I need to be able to fully charge 2 phones and have a little extra to spare.
What are you guys using? Any suggestions would be awesome.
I have RavPower 28k mah with PD charging. It doesn't rapid charge my 6T, but it does not slow charge either. I've been happy with it, had it for over a year now.
I use something like this when I travel.
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/163251892502
I use Panasonic 18650 cells rated at 3400mAh so around 17,000 mAh which are about 20$ for four packs. I find it hard to believe that there are battery packs not using 18650 cells that are rated any higher than 10k mAh. I get about three or four complete charges with the one I posted.
A five cell 18650 battery pack is a bit large and a bit heavy. I use 10 amp cells but if you want dual fast charge then maybe get 20 amp cells I do not think that 30 amp cells will be of benefit. I have used many of these eBay style of 18650 cells over the last five or six years and the differ in circuits most will do the rated quick charge. A 20,000 mAh cell could be pretty big if true to the rating. The few that I have had over the years that use custom flat cell phone style cells are pure rubbish.
This one supports Dash Charge and works pretty well: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32963417817.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dbg2AjO

Looks nice but if it is 18650 cells I fail to see how it can reach 20000mAh . But if it is just a charge bank and the user provides the cells then at least one can bring their own cells and have a decent unit.
Official from OPPO
The sister company? of OnePlus --> Oppo has just announced two new power banks which support VOOC (20W) and Super VOOC (50W) fast charging ! I think these should be compatible with OnePlus Dash Charge or Wrap Charge !!!

Have'nt found it yet.
Hi,
what do you think of this?
https://www.oppo.com/ph/accessory-vooc-power-bank/
I have seen many people complaining about their 27w Xiaomi charger with problem of not turbo charging, low charging current, overheat, dont work with 20w charger, and etc. And I one of the these guys too. I have ordered two times 27w loosepack charger from chinese online shop and all are fakes. They dont give me consistent turbo charging and dont charge faster than 18w! This pissed me off because there are so many loosepacks out there and the original ones comes from 20w wireless charging bundling box, from mi 9 chinese box, or from 27w charger with box packaging which none of that chinese online shop sell that, all only loosepack which high risk of counterfeits.
Yesterday I bought the 27w charger with box in my local online shop. The seller told me he got the charger from local store in china and bought it to my country. After the charger arrives i tested in and yeah finally I got the original one. I always get "charge turbo" whenever i charge and measurement in ampere App can reach 4800mA which I never get even 3000mA with 18w or that fake 27w one.
So I made a comparison video of those original vs fake charger. I hope it can help you guys who experienced same like me and want to find the original ones. Here is my youtube video link:
https://youtu.be/xx-P6BxZzkU
If you want to see video later, here is also attached the quick glance of my both orig and fake ones. They do have difference in printing quality. And the Ampere screenshot of original charger for reference.
Great. Where can you get the original one?

I got it from someone who bought it from chinese local store.
If you want get the original one, you need to buy charger with official packaging box. Can be a bundle with 20w wireless, or standalone with box like i bought, but its very rare.
Specifically: aliexpress. Search the shop and see the feedbacks. Look for shop which can provide 20w wireless bundling in one box
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32976262381.html
I bought that bundle like 20 days ago, it should aerrive by next week at max.
But i got the "traveler charger" (Xiaomi 1A1C) which comes with a Usb Type C and Normal USB port.
Hopefully it charges correctly i will let u know but for now the bad comments i have read just say that they cannont turbo charge using the type C Port.

Yes 30w if you use the type c connector or at least that what they claim.
But since max supported for our device is 27w it is kinda useless.
But nevertheless I will make sure to post here once I get it and try it
Hi

Nope, it wont work. 20W wireless is working only with MDY-10.
It is not true that the original is only in a transparent box. I got it without this transparent box and it works well.
Thanks for the great infos, I'll post again when I get my 27W charger I ordered from AliExpress!

Can your 30w charger turbo charge mi 9?
So, anyone has a link to a reliable and tested seller on aliexpress for the 27w charger?
Here's a post to a review of the original 27 W charger ordered from Alixepress. I saw his review on a German forum too. You can also see a screenshot from the Ampere app. Looks legit. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79569598&postcount=87
Direct link to Alixepress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32974660297.html
You can also check reviews there, several people wrote that Charging Turbo works, you can also see it in their photos.
Personally, I've order the charger from here a week ago: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33001884969.html
Almost every photo review shows Charge Turbo, so hopefully it's true. I just have to wait until it arrives to try it out.
@arddy1, very nice post, a very detailed comparison. Thanks you!
I was convinced that mine was ok because I see "Charging Turbo" on the Mi9 every time I connect the charger. But looking to the charger details it actually matches the fake one you shown in your video. So I decided to perform some more tests.
- I tried to use a USB voltage/current meter but when I use it then I don't get "Charging Turbo" anymore, which means it blocks somehow some communication between the charger and the phone, could it be?
- in Ampere I can only get 2600mA, while using by cheap 2USD QC 3.0 charger I can get 3200mA;
- since this charger is effectively recognized by the phone with "Charging Turbo", I suppose the problem with the fake one is not the "protocol" or compatibility, but the amount of current it can send to the phone, what do you think?
The final test will be to perform a full charge with both my QC 3.0 and this one to see the difference.
My main concern now is: being a fake charger, is it safe to use it? may it damage the phone? What do you think?
I happen to have both with line and without, and both are working the same Both give turbo charge mode with cable and with wireless charger every time, i would never thought that one might be fake if haven't seen this post.
UPD. I checked were from i have ordered the original : https://www.aliexpress.com/store/3470060?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dazyZc0
I have got 27w+cable+20w wireless charger+eu plug, from that store and they came in one package. So i don't know if only the charger will be original. It was shipped ~10 days to Israel.

But did you actually measure the current with Ampere? In my case it seems I also have a fake one but I always get turbo charge mode as well. However when I measured the actual current in Ampere App I can see that the original 18w charger gives more current/power to the phone than the 27w one.
If possible use Ampere to measure if and report the results.

Just measure the charge time in my case if i remember right, 27w charges the phone ~1 hour and charger witch came with phone i didn't measure exactly but i think it something like 1 hour 40 minutes.
As for Ampere it shows ~1500 Ma and ~4.5v on 90% battery level on both chargers and both cables witch came with the chargers. And yes in Israel we have 220-240v power supply, don't remember exactly but i think it's same as Europe. For 5 minutes that i have checked the phone charged to 92% level

You should measure it when charge is still below 50%, after that charging current starts to drop.
It might be the case yours is a very good fake charger
I will also compare charging times with mine and the. post the results in a couple of days.
Hello guys,
I bought and recieved this one https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33000669695.html
And it shows "Charge Turbo" as well as about 4700-5000ma using Ampere.
Hope it helps

Phone showing charge turbo or not is not determined by the current. I have tested both mode in fake charger, the currents are almost same. It may be determined by that protocol or compatibility thing. When the cable is plugged in and your phone detects that charger is compatible, it will trigger turbo charging mode and allowing more currents to enter inside. But in fake chargers, although it have been already allowed, the charger hardware dont have capability to do that.
I can't test current using usb meter too because it caused the phone cant read the charger compatibility. So in the video i compare currents with app ampere. As long the voltage in app are about same, it can be compared.
About safe or not, i recommend you not to use it. The temperature in fake ones is noticeably higher when charging than the original, even the original has bigger output current.
