Last week I got cheap a Motorola V3i from Ebay. But when I put the battery in it only shows the bootloader with this message:
Boot Loader
0A.52.
SW Version:
R479_G_08.B4.8
DR
PH SIG ERROR
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable
So I know i need to flash it with RSD lite, but i cant find any firmware for it even I searched the whole internet for it.
Does anyone here have a branding free firmware for my V3i?
I would be very greatful for it.

Hello guys, I tried to post my question on the Atrix 4g Development forum but since I am new I don't have the privileges yet.
Well, I started to follow a tutorial on how to root/unlock bootloader for the atrix 4g, everything was going great, phone is now rooted and all but when I got to the part where the phone has to be set to RSD Mode and then connected through usb to run RSD Lite 5.6 in order to flash the proper unlock.sbf file, the issue is that the phone must be recognized by RSD lite 5.6 as "NS Flash Olympus" but instead it recognizes it as "SE Flash Olympus" I immediately did some research and a user who followed that proceeded under the same circumstances got his phone bricked. I did not proceed and would like to know the most secure way to get the bootloader unlocked under these circumstances without bricking the phone.
Will a "SE" phone be already factory unlocked?

Well im from dominican republic too and i unlocked my phone following that guide, just be sure you have uninstalled any previous SonyEricsson drivers or outdated Motorola Drivers and install the new ones.
Thanks for the help, I proceeded with the IHOP .sbf file and it worked like a charm! Currently running CM7 Neutrino v2.6
Thanks!
Hey everybody,
Today I decided that my Maxx (eu, germany) was to slugish so I gave it a in - OS wipe and reset. But unfortunately my razr (xt912) refused to boot up again, just kept hanging in the 'upgrading android' for several hours. So than decided to download myself some fastboot files and start from scratch. Unfortunately themmost logical candidates of the fastboot files keep on returning the following error on RSD: Failed flashing process. Failed flashing process. 6/21 flash CDT.bin "cdt.bin_signed" --> Phone returned fail ; phone connected.
Getting a bit desperate here. Hope you guys can help me with this.
Cheers.

Isn't the European version xt910? IS yours really a 912? That would imply a North American variant. You could always throw an email to Motorola support with the IMEI asking for the phones origins...I did this and they confirmed mine was a Hong Kong variant.
I think you might be right. Its a German Razr Maxx. ( I know for certain its' German because it has germany specific apps on it). But would anyone know what the error means?
Fortunately I do can get in fastboot. Yesterday managed to get into android and the setup wizard but after the setup wizard I never get my launcher screen. The phone doesn't lock up just shows a black screen.
AW: Motorola RAZR maxx, bricked?
Hit the link in my signature, there you'll find the ICS Fastboots (Firmwarelist) and RSD-How to in German.

hi!
after reading all related post in this forum and searching google for ages, i am still not able to unlock my z5c's bootloader. it is not a lack of skills or know-how - i have successfully unlocked my z1c and z3c - but this one simply does not unlock.
i have tried both windows and linux, used shell and flashtool, all drivers properly installed, phone is correctly recognized, bootloader unlock is positive, oem unlock and usb-debugging are activated, phone is in fastboot but i still end up with error "command did not succeed". flashtool additionally shows "oem unlock not activated?". it is, but doesn't seem to have any effect.
i also tried to include the .txt file with the unlockcode into flashtools filestructure: flashtool does something but can't finish the unlock proccess and my phone is not resetting.
i even tried those one-click unlocker without success.
and there is something fishy about this phone: three month ago i got it brandnew from a vendor in china via ebay and first thing i did was connecting it to the pc companion to upgrade the firmware which was 5.1 and it told me, firmware was up to date... so i tried the repair option and it told me "that due to it's prototype status it can only be upgraded from certain ips" - although the phone does not show any hints of being a prototype, neither software- nor hardwarewise and even if it was, it wouldn't prevent the bootloader from being unlocked (afaik).
so you guys are my last hope! any further ideas???
regards,
andi
Hmm... Possibly not the solution but have you tried enabling "Unknown Sources" as well?
Another thing is - you can try flashing a later version of the firmware with Flashtool - one that is common. Afaik there are some versions that have trouble unlocking. Try flashing something like Nordic Unbranded, boot it up, make the settings again.
P.S. Flashing does NOT remove the old leftover firmware - it just writes on top. So you should format the partitions (/system, /data, /cache, /dalvik-cache) before flashing in order to start clean.
when i couldn't upgrade the firmware via pc-companion i used flashtool to flash 7.1.1 (some german version) which i kept ever since. so flashing a different firmware before unlocking is something worth trying? i thought of this as well but never actually tried it because i was just too lazy going though all the setup process again if the attempt failed just like the others... but i'll give it a try then!
and thanks for the input!
Hy,
For me i had to make two steps :
- Flash a non-branded firmware from Xperifirm
- Network unlock it (actually for me it unlocked automatically at the end of the warranty ). This step it is critical (as i was informed in the Sony store)
Then the normal cmd command through adb worked fine.
Basically for me the network lock / warranty was the issue that prevented me to unlock the bootloader
thank you very much for your Input! but there is no network lock...
what i was going to do was flashing a different firmware and try again - and there is something else i didn't think of: the usb2 connector of my mainboard is blocked by an infrared device to power up my pc by voice command via alexa and a harmony hub. and to still be able to use the front usb ports of my case i connected them with an adapter cable to a free usb3 socket on the mainboard…
so it might have been the firmware, the usb2 port on a usb3 socket or prototype-status that caused the trouble - but i'll never know cause basically i'll give up on that phone since more issues occured… i contacted the vendor yesterday and it seems i'll get a full refund!
i now got my hands on a shiny new galaxy s7 and hopefully i'll experience the joys of oreo 8.1 and lineage 15.1 anywhere soon without the hazzle!
thanks again for your help and regards,
andi
I buy a phone from Ebay, i flashed the phone with wrong rom's in Smart Phone Flash Tool. then i flashed the phone i check the Bootloader off. so i don't flash the preloader.
I searched around and i found close to the phone and it was MT6735M without error in Smart Phone Flash Tool. But the phone still does not boot up, without success.
I asked on this forum i another topics, he help me to get preloader.bin out of my phone, now i have the preloader.bin.
What the problem i can't found the right rom right now.
The name is: (GSM UNLOCKED 4G LTE 6.29" Waterdrop Screen Smart Phone Android 9 Fingerprint ID) from Ebay
i get confused:
Before i flash the Phone it says (MT6595)
I got booted it op in mode: and it says (MT6735)
The buyer says (MT6575)
WwR MTK says: CPU type: (MT6752)
Can some one help me with the right rom? i hope you also not get confused as i am. Tell me if you need more info about the topic.
hi all,
I have Samsung SM-G935W8 (in Canada), bought used from someone. recently, try to play with android, and realized the phone PDA was G935UUEU4BRD1, and model was SM-G935U which is different from the model that showing on back cover. think the guy flashed a different rom for this phone.
couple days ago, I did hard factory reset for no reason, and get google account locked. then search online and learning how to fix it. seems like need to flash combination rom --> use tool bypass frp --> flash official rom to solve this issues.
i downloaded many combination firmware and all failed on odin flash. until i use one that allowed me to flash and success to open the phone as Factory Binary. But, I noticed the phone model changed to SM-G935A, which is AT&T firmware. the android version is 6.0.1, when I try to run program to do FRP bypass, no luck, think that because I can't turn on OEM- Unlock option(can't find it on developer option tough)? or bootloader locked?
now, I can only flash official rom that from AT&T, and android 8 that I can find it. if the phone can be fixed FRP issues, model change to G935A is fine, I dont care that model, I dont use the phone for call, only for wifi and camera. and maybe later can play flash to other model of ROM. not sure if possible.
current, the working combination rom I flashed is PDA : G935UUCUBATA1
ADB FRP to bypass FRP (not working)
and flashed to AT&T rom PDA: G935AUCUBCTB1_G935AATTBCTB1_8.0.0
FRP still not bypassed, and stuck on google account validation screen. any advice how and what tools can bypass FRP for this phone now model is SM-G935A? thanks in advance!
