Hi!!
I have a Amazfit with the issue related to the Bluetooth, therefore I'm not able to pair it with my Xiaomi MI note 7 and it's stucked to show the QrCode ,
Is there a way to Skip the Qrcode step in order to use this smartwatch at least as simple watch?
I didn't find any procedure about that, surfing on internet..
Is there someone that can help me with it???

Try stuff from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/amazfit/xiaomi-amazfit-stuck-qr-code-t3571155
Also here (I know it is for GTR, but it may work for Pace too): https://www.reddit.com/r/amazfit/comments/co21wx/need_urgent_help_with_my_new_amazfit_gtr/ewhalgg/
Also, go to your bluetooth settings in the phone, maybe the watch is visible.

Sometimes this fixes BT on watch:
Code:
adb shell service call bluetooth_manager 6
adb reboot
Reboot your phone too ant try paring again.
If nothing works and you want to bypass the QR code request, try this:
Code:
adb shell pm hide com.huami.watch.setupwizard

Your firmware version is very old, that's probably why you can't pair the watch.
Try with an older version of Amazfit app but maybe phone's Android OS could be related here too.
Your last shot will be unlocking the bootloader and flashing latest firmware.

Thanks dear Saratoga
This is a very good way, no need of hard pairing process after each rom installation.

I also had this problem, and now the smartwatch is completely useless. After I updated my Pixel XL to Android 8.1, the sync problems started. I tried to make a reset (unpair, do a factory reset and try to pair again), but now I'm stucked on the QR Code screen. I read it with the Amazfit App, but when it tries to sync the previous information with the smartwatch, it gives me generic sync error. I also tried to skip the sync old information part, without success.

I had this problem with App 2.0.0 and PACEficator, had to find a original firmware on 1.3.0n, update do 1.3.5 and then everything works fine. Didn't flashed any other rom yet and things are good, so you guys might wanna do this. I got the rom from https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/amazfit/tutorial-unbrick-huami-amazfit-t3547300

Thanks, signing into the 2.0.0 version worked now. But I still get the pairing errors after scanning the QR Code and accepting the bluetooth pairing request. It takes like ten seconds to do something, then it throws the error

Guys if you have the generic sync error and you are stuck at QR code, try selecting an american server with a VPN BEFORE trying to open the Amazfit app: some italian users managed to pass it and sync again with this trick
Solved with an pre 7 device
If you by any chance have a pre 8.0 Android phone you can pair your device to that one and update it to firmware version 1.3.5. After that you can perform a factory reset of the watch and pair it to your Android 8+ phone and it will pair. Proved with a Pixel XL
I also got the same problem after the december upgrade of the Amazfit app. Lost contact with the watch, I have tried several hard factory resets, multiple reinstalled the apps, tried several different phones, now my watch keeps hanging in de XR screen, and is completely useless for me. No upgrade to fix this bug. Also no support. The watch has a great design, but software is crappy.
Hi guys.
My friend just brought me an Amazfit Pace from China. It was the only option for me to get one. However, I can't use all the features due to the Chinese language. The only concern that I have is about the risks to change the language. I have seen some posts here and in others sites about people who followed all the steps and ended up getting a brick
I mean, I have the knowledge to flash firmwares and roms. I have done this in my Android Phone in the past. But the problem is that seems to be a matter of lucky. So, even if I follow very close the steps am I still have a chace to fail and get a brick? I have updated to latest firmware so far 1.2.51. It doesn't show new updates for me. The model is A1602. If I do a factory reset before flashing, is it safer?
Also, I have seen a another option to change the language without flashing, through the command "adb shell setprop persist.sys.language en".
Can be this method better and safer?
Thank you so much. I hope you guys can clarify these questions to me.
Try cmd commands!!!
Hi,
A bit too late but hope this will be helpful. I got my amazefit from China as well, was worried about bricking the watch. For few months used it in Chinese then thought I need to do something and did this and it has been good since then. Recent updates have all in English (haven't checked nooks and corners, but most of what I need is in English). Follow these steps and it should be fine.
1. Install ADB drivers for Android on the PC. Here in this post of XDA are the ADB drivers.
2. Once this is done we connect our clock to the PC through the charging base and we look forward to that are installed the drivers.
3. Now open the CMD (what comes to be the old MS-DOS) and use the following commands, pressing Enter after entering:
4. adb devices (we will see a code if the clock is well connected).
5. adb shell (to access the console).
6. setprop persist.sys.language in (to change the language of the clock)
7. reboot
Cheers

Hi, I use a Oneplus 5T and I´m trying pair with a Amazfit Pace, but i don´t gived success.
"Pair Failed" "Cannot connect to the watch, please keep the watch near the phone until the backup recovery te completed."
Can someone help me?

Hello. If Pace is brand new and phone has Android 8.0+, it won't pair. First pair with another phone with Android 7.1 or older (or an iPhone), update watch's firmware, unpair and then pair with your phone.

I am using Open Beta Oreo Rom for OnePlus 5t.
For my part I have no problem. I am in android 8.1 and Rom WOS 2.6.0.12
I paired it the first time under android 8.0.
You need to clear the cache of the amazfit application.

Hi, I faced similar problem few days ago. The watch just refused to pair with my phone. Tried to install and uninstall the watch OS many times still failed. At the end, we found that it was my phone OS problem. I tried to pair the watch with another phone and it paired without problem. I then clean reflashed my phone ROM and solved the problem. For your information, my phone is OP3T and the phone rom is MSM Xtended (android 8.1.0). Thanks @IFOm for his help
I suggest you reflash your phone rom.

Old Pace 1.3.x firmware won't sync with Android 8.0+ and newest iOS, firmware must be updated first using another phone.
I has stockfied 1.3.6 and 8 Oreo and sync perfect, since December to May, I changed rom for wos2, same phone and beta, like OP
This should work: pair the watch using your account using another phone, then put watch in airplane mode (so it will disconnect from phone) and uninstall Amazfit app and remove watch from phone's Bluetooth settings (watch won't be unpaired, so no factory reset). Then go to your phone, make sure the watch isn't listed in Bluetooth settings, install the same app version used before, turn off airplane mode on watch and login to your account. The watch and phone should show the usual pair request with a pin code, confirm in both and they should be paired. If it doesn't happen then your phone's Bluetooth cannot see the watch for some reason... I have done this thousands times and it always worked if the phone can find the watch.
I have the OnePlus 5T and when I got my watch I had the same problem.....all you have to do is
1) Downgrade to Android 7
2) Pair the watch let it update to latest firmware
3) Update your OnePlus 5T to Android 8.0/8.1
4) Enjoy your brand new Pace
........................................................................................
ALTERNATIVE
Use a second phone that is on Android 7
Pair the watch and update it
Then unpair it
Go to OnePlus 5T and pair it
It should work either way?
