U can remove it by being rooted using root explorer and go into apps and look for the updater app and delete

Hide or delete software updates

A friend has Samsung Galaxy s6 edge. Not having data slot card, runs out space.
Software update has been clicked , not installed, pending.
Stopping/disabling clear data or disable system notifications and google play notifications do not work to hide the update.
Does anyone know the file location of System updates to delete the update as it is 1.5G? or a way to hide the notification without ROOTING the phone as this will void warranty. Package disabler roots the phone, so we cannot use it.
Searched in /data/data/ google android gms nothing in there....
You can't access unber root / the files without root the device
You maybe see some stuff but the folders will be empty and not reachable
The /data/data/ needs root access sorry...

Disable OTA system update notification

How do i disable OTA system update notification?

Why do few system apps bypass root?

Updater, Security, Battery & Performance etc all bypass root settings you try to implement on them, why?

Question "Galaxy system app update"

Hi there, this appears to be a new setting for S23. To access it:
Settings - Security and privacy - Other security settings - Galaxy system app update
It appears to be enabled by default. My question is - what if you disable it? Will you still get notifications when an update is available so you can "manually" install it?
you can manually check for updates.
Yes, but I was more asking if notifications would still be sent automatically if there's an update available?
