There no reason to root to do a downgrade
Just search at Google with your mobile brand and model of your phone and download its firmware and just flash that

If you only root you can keep your warranty by unrooting. If you unlock your bootloader you will lose your warranty
what i have been told is that we must downgrade to 4.2, root and then upgrade by ota. Which by the moment is no good for me.
how i flash this rom?
Hi,
I want to update to new android 5 and I am on locked bootloader, now on android 4.4.4 build 167 because it needs downgrade I am not rooted.I want to know is there any easy method to root android 5?
As I searched I should first root 4.4.4 and install new rom with recovery and so I need to downgrade ...

Nope only way to root is flash a pre rooted zip and like 4.4.4 there wont most probably be any other way to root. So yes you will have to downgrade to 4.4.2-->Root-->Install Recovey-->Flash pre rooted 5.0

I have already back to KK, no root -- no gapps... Pls let me know when you find the solution. Thanks.
there's lolipop custom rom in russian forum, its original firmware with some tweaks and u can flash it using kitkat twrp, flash it together with supersu after flash that rom and then reboot, there' the only way to root s90 lollipop fr now as i know, but u will lose twrp and only stock recovery after that. i have tested it but went back to kitkat because cant use xposed in lollipop without custom recovery.

The simplest way, download qpst version of ROM (Vibe2.0 Android 4.4.4) and flash it by PC (QFIL utility).

If you're on the MDK bootloader, you can update to the stock/rooted/deodexed OC1 ROM in the development forum.
