Unfortunately, at the 98 percent of partition dl the kdz of h933 10h, I accidentally pressed the power button, and then the phone turned into endless 5-second bootloop, with only the screen of "lg v30" with "Android" can be seen. No button combination works now, and obviously lgup cannot help as well.
Would the so-called 9008 mode work? If you have any idea, please help me. Thanks a lot.

Hi, I'm not sure why you said so. I had really such a problem and didn't know how to solve it at the time posting this thread. Later I tried 9008 mode and share some of my experience in other threads, and during the whole process nobody had left a simple reply here for any help, so I cannot accept that you declare I'm spamming with nonsense.
Now I'd still leave the posts here looking for any better methods other than 9008 mode, then anyone else having such a problem could enjoy better experience saving their phones.

I didn't mean it like that. I posted a reboot solution, but you had cross posted in other threads where you already had an answer, so I deleted mine.

Hi,
Anybody know any other mode of SGS2 than these 2 modes?
Why I am asking is, when I was in the noob stage while playing with my SGS2, if my memory is correct, with three combination of button (Vol+Home+power or I started pressing before fully shut down any button or something else I don’t really remember now the sequence and the way) accidently I got a screen with yellow text similar to download mode, but it is sure the only text on the screen I remember in that panic situation was something written ‘Upload’ , that time my SGS2 was only few days old, I was really scared and rushed to press the power button to get the phone off before something is happened,
If somebody has any idea please just share…..
Thanks
sounds like kernel panic but as far as I know, you shouldn't be able to get there with any button combinations, sometimes reboot fixes this, sometimes wipe

"FORCED UPLOAD BY KEY PRESSING" HOME + VOl-UP- What is this ?????????
Further to my first post, once again I accidentally got the screen what I mentioned, this time I found out the Keys....
While the Phone is fully booted condition Just press Home Button and Vol-up button together, you will get black screen for one or two seconds like phone is switched off followed by the attached Screen saying
“ FORCED UPLOAD BY KEY PRESSING” along with the digits on top….
When you get the this Screen nothing to worry just hold power button for few seconds, phone will be switched off and with another press you can switch the phone on normally....
If somebody know about this just share the information…..
Thanks a lot

Ok so it's not even my first rodeo by far, but i seems to have come across your favourite S2 (Lol!) screen myself this past weekend, and obviously again today. I jave to say i have done pretty much everything i could have possibly done to this NOTE 5 SM_N920W8. Successful FRP Unlock, TWRP, my first manual injection of SU & BINARY, even uncovered a huge lot of developer apps and various locking/ unlocking tools, after semi-translating Arabic and separating useless code to find passwords and proper instructional material. I even had the thing up and running quite well, even after playing around with all the developers tools like Combination BoxWares, FRP Hijacker & Gsd Android Tool all over this phone. I managed to destroy any evidence of an IMEI number though. Oopsie. .. but, because it IS a NOTE 5, an ever-so-satisfying battery pull cannot be properly executed, i keep on coming back to the lovely screen which i will post screenshots of now.

The only thing we can discuss about your lost IMEI is to help you restore your IMEI from an IMEI backup that was created before you caused this issue.
If you do not have a legitimate IMEI backup, we have nothing to discuss.
Any discussion beyond that in this regard is not allowed by the standards set in the XDA Forum Rules.

Lol, you didn't understand my meaning, that makes you the....what was your word......dips***t.
The reason I said what I said about IMEI is because they had rendered their device inoperable and wanted help fixing it, which is why they came here. They also stated that, in the process of messing around with the device, they destroyed their IMEI. Well, guess what that means, it means that part of the process to repair the device will require restoring IMEI(this is the part that my reply was aimed at) which they did not create a backup of, which we now can't legitimately help with due to the forum rules about not being able to help restore IMEI without a backup. Ultimately, they would have required help from us that is against the XDA rules, not to mention, illegal in some places. Therefore, my reply was very relevant.
Second, I know the upload screen very well, my reply had nothing to do with ignorance of its existence or its meaning. The only ignorance here is you not understanding why I gave the reply I gave and its underlying meaning because you didn't look deep enough to make the connection. But, that is no surprise since this is your first post here and you just joined within the last few hours, you probably don't know enough about this site's rules or what would have been involved in their repair process.

My brother went and flashed a custom international rom. He doesnt remember which one, not that I think it matters at this point. Ive flashed many roms, I've even bricked a few phones, but with alot of reading on the xda site, and all the help from dev's have always unbricked my phone. His samsung doesnt turn on, does not go into recovery or into download mode. Ive tried taking the battery out holding both + - vol then usb then battery. nothing. When plugged into usb without battery, light turns on, when plugged into comp , comp starts looking for a driver, so i dont think its complety bricked yet, but it comes back with this message QHSUSb_dload. Ive read up on other phones on this message, any help with how to solve this. thanks
First slap him for not reading and then go to the development section of your carrier and look for fix thread for your issue I know attention has none not sure about the other carriers.

If he's seeing QHSUSB DLOAD its hard bricked. From what I've seen looking into this, I believe some HTC's have been able to be recovered from this mode but its not possible for us w/o JTAG. Someone correct me if I'm wrong and shed some light on the subject if they have any. Very intrigued by this and think that somehow an unbrick could be done with this with the right tools/knowloedge

I looked at my the dev section there is no fix that I could find. So I posted the question in the proper samsung galaxy section. I dont believe there is a solution yet aside from sending it in. A few posts here and there touched base on it but I dont think anyone yet on here has eff'd there phones up to this point. Ive went through every samsung section to see if there were any similar post and nothing has really touched base, on it or ive triied it.

Yes I found four posts about the similar qhsusb dload, and also read about jtag, already gave my brother the website url, to contact about sending the thing in. I just havent been able to find a solution on here.
well ill have to find and reread the stuff i saw abt the htc's cuz if im not mistaken some were actually made unbrickable because of this. i was able to install drivers, and talk to the phone with a couple of things, including odin but it just hung as i expected it to. I think something could be done with this, dont seem like the typical hardbrick. let a couple more people brick this thing, if its possible someone will figure it out

I believe this is the post your talking about. Anyways I just can't believe the broski actually bricked his phone, I trully thought it was damn near impossible. amazing
It is never impossible to brick a device. This is why one should know what they are doing before they do it. I mean really, he doesn't even know what rom he flashed? Flashing a device is not for everyone nor should everyone do it. If you don't understand what your doing then don't do it.

Ya I did that about 4 hours ago, in my devices and printers, in now says QHSUSB_DLOAD is working properly. Yet I cant get it to connect to the toolkit, to odin, I cant even find the phone with cmd. it makes a noise everytime you plug it in to the comp, well the comp does and it searches for drivers and installs them, they all installed correctly the first time aside from the one above that was fixed. Thanks though for the help, I really appreciate it.
If no other solutions work, a JTAG repair WILL unbrick your device. MobileTech Videos (www.mobiletechvideos.com) offers JTAG repair for the SGS3. I've used them to purchase a download mode jig and they have fast turn around times, great customer service, and excellent service. You really can't go wrong using them. Hope it all works out and you can get your device unbricked.
Let us know how you hard bricked it so we can do that when we need to get our phone warranty replaced without customer service seeing the custom flashed counter!

Either this is your weak attempt at humour or you never read the entire thread, like I said in on the first page, He flashed a international rom. I dont need to recap the entire 2 pages, the fact that you posted that comment, like why would anyone want to brick their phone for warrenty if its working fine. just stupid. I appreciate your meaningless contribution to a site where some people try to learn a thing or 2. I would suggest you try taking the site more seriously. And if you cant, have some respect for the people that do. thanks again. take care
I've searched and searched, but I've been unable to find a solution to, or even any examples of, my particular problem. I was wiping and formatting everything before I flashing a ROM as I've done countless times before, but this time I decided to format the boot partition, which I can't remember ever doing before, and I think I then pulled the battery before flashing anything.
Now when I put the battery back in or plug in the USB cable (without pressing any buttons at all) the phone immediately shows the Vibrant/Samsung screen and nothing else happens. Holding the power button (or power + vol up, or power + vol down, or power + vol up and down) makes the screen flash off momentarily and then come back on again, but that's it. I can't get into recovery mode, and I couldn't get into download mode either, as the phone won't stay off when I put the battery in.
So, I bought a USB jig and to my relief it enabled the phone to get into download mode. I put the jig in the USB port and insert the battery, and download mode immediately comes up. Then I remove the jig and either connect the USB cable and then start Odin, or start Odin and then connect the USB cable. Either way, Odin doesn't recognize the phone. Windows gives me some sort of error about a malfunctioning USB device.
I know the problem is the phone, and not my cable or computer, because I can Odin to my wife's Vibrant no problem. Any ideas?

Read it over, test it out and if it doesn't work head back here and let us know and we can figure something out...and who knows, maybe by then someone with far more knowledge of this particular problem will pass on through and shed some light on the situation.
But for now, concentrate on staying calm and we'll work through it.
Sounds like you deleted the boot loaders. Make sure you have correct drivers installed, windows isn't auto detecting. Try to get Odin to recognize again, try all USB ports. If you get it recognized make sure to √ re-partition.
BTW Xeno, you made me bust out laughing!

Also, not to go against your advice, because I think its awesome that you responded and are searching for a "cure" but OP do not, I repeat, do NOT touch kies. I'm sure you've heard about the Holocaust in your history classes at some point, yes? Well that was microscopic compared to the disasters that will befall your vibrant if you bring it anywhere near the kies software. Do NOT do it. Think of the kids for God's sake. That is all.

@xeno, your killing me hahaha! I have heard about bad experiences with kies. I have used it a few times without issue, this was my Pre xda days. I figured this guy didn't have much to lose and if kies hard bricked it, he'd have a better shot of Sammy or tmo hooking him up with a fix. I guess for $40 he could get a JTAG repair.

Thanks
We all want to help but since you're the owner and carry the device, it makes sense that you should do it yourself.
Try to enter "download mode", "recovery mode", using jig, ................ How to do that? Read the stickies as I can't remember on top of my head. I will post the links if I stumble across.
Also, next time, pls do read, prepare and understand things before you proceed further.
If you've read enough, you would know you shouldn't use ROM manager at all.

Hey Guys so i have searched high and low for a solution and still can't figure out a fix. i've read on sony forums that other people experienced the same issue but can't find a fix. I got the phone second hand (risky i know but i took a gamble) and it already have android pie. At first it was working great and i was quite happy with the phone but as i started using it every now and then it would reset itself at random, even in my pocket, then it started freezing when i unlocked it and eventually reset and work again for a bit. from the start the volume up button was not working but i can deal with that. on other threads i have read that some people are having the exact same issue. Help is very much appreciated.
So far i've tried turning off fingerprint unlock, uninstalling apps, turning off auto brightness, turning off the code unlock, factory reset, flashing to android oreo, and running in safe mode and so far none of that has fixed the issue. (although it helped temporarily giving me false hope!)
i'm going to try flashing back to nougat as a last resort but am not going to have too much false hope. Thanks for reading and any help in advance!

@ leemo89, if you have tried a reset and new firmware , I would have it checked out as it sounds like you have a bad motherboard.. read the newflasher thread and try flashing with it .. it you still have an issue , let the repair shop check it out.
Thanks, I'll give that a go. I'm just hoping it's due to firmware as Ive read of the exact symptoms happening to others.
