I have got the mi update of 11.0.6 on my poco f1 and updated it via the regular phone update of 1.9 GB and installed it via twrp recovery.
As expected the twrp recovery was gone which I had to reflash.
Now when I'm trying to install magisk v20.3 then the device keeps on booting for a long time around 8-10 mins.
Can anyone help me out of this situation?
To get back to my device in working state I reflashed the downloaded rom in my pc and flashed it again via twrp and the device is live again but the magisk problem persists.
Any insights is appeciated.
sorry for the panicking. the device booted successfully after around 15-20 mins

so i downloaded magisk and twrp then realized i had a miui 11 update so i updated then it rebooted and went to twrp i was confused so i went to reboot and system then clicked and now its stuck on pocophone by xiaomi powered by android what do i do please help iam seriously scared
seems like dmvarity issue
flash magisk20.1 again,
and reboot
2. if bootloop again then this means you have encryption error, FORMAT DATA from wipe (you will loose all your data) and try!
also if still you are stuck at bootlogo then
flash miui11 recoveryrom via twrp then reboot, complete miui11 setup and comeback for magisk
the final solution would be to flash miui11 FASTBOOT ROM via flasher, (pc) which will wipe all your data , then reboot, then miui11 setup, then comeback to twrp for magisk
flashing miui and magisk altogether always went in bootloops or screen freezes for me too!
Dear guys
I tried to help a friend of mine rooting his Pocphone F1
SO these have been my steps:
Unlocked bootloader
Booted TWRP (only boot ... no instalation)
Installed last MAGISK (20.1 if I remember well)
Reboot to System
In some cases when I reboot I obtain a soft boot loop
Only pressing pwr+Vol up several times (honestly I have not yet understood which is the right magic sequence ...) I have the right boot to Android
Any idea to fix the issue ?
Thanks a lot
Paolo
Hello Developers, I just updated my phone to the latest 11.0.4 which was sent via OTA, the problem is that after flashing magisk phone is booting up and then shutting off automatically.
Also, while flashing Magisk the twrp says that there is no ROM installed. I'm using redwolf recovery and magisk v20.3.
Please help. Cheers
download the zip file of android 10 based miui 11 and flash it via recovery and then magisk(without reboot).
then your phone will boot.no need to format or delete.
EDIT: flash the magisk 20.2(because i had flashed 20.2 after facing the exact issue)
Hey guys i have an issue, i was running Pixel Experience 10 but on MIUI 10, i couldn't update the last one so i thought to get back to stock rom, update to miui 11 and then get back to my Pixel rom. I DID A BIG MISTAKE. I installed the Miui 11 Update through TWRP without restoring the stock miui 10 rom. It worked but i had lost my Pixel rom ( i have a backup), ok then i installed TWRP at the MIUI 11 because recovery mode got me at Xiaomi Recovery for some reason. Inside the TWRP i flashed Disabled forc Encryption, but it didnt flash the Magisk, i reboot to system and after 100 bootloops i tried to go back to recovery mode, it boot at TWRP but since then, the TOUCHSCREEN DOESN'T WORK.. I used xiaomi mi flash tool to return to stock rom, it did, locked the bootloader etc...the touchscreen still doesn't work though... I can connect a mouse with OTG Type-C and i can do anything you tell me in order to fix it.. i have already update to MIUI 11, unlock the bootloader, installed TWRP and have Root. Has anyone any idea or a solution to try? Thanks everyone in advance.

Hello
I have a poco f1 and I tried to flash from a week ago and here are the problems I faced.
1) I have shifted from latest miui to pixel experience plus from last week and the first problem I faced was when I tried to flash disable force encryption my phone didn't boot in the room it would get stuck on the google logo I did flash dfe while after flashing twrp to permanently install it but my device was still encrypted. Because of this, I have to remove all passwords before flashing anything.
2) After I tried PEP Rom I wanted to shift to evolution x and I downloaded the last built 4.7 android 10 official for poco f1 and flashed it in twrp and it was installed successfully but when I click on reboot system twrp showed no os installed. No one faced this problem but idk y I did.
3) My twrp doesn't show any portion to wipe vendor so I planned to shift on orange fox today and saw that as I install orange fox it would get stuck on orange fox logo and doesn't boot up.
Finally, I read this on some site
This device uses dm-verity!
This means that swiping to allow system modifications will prevent you from being able to boot if you are using the stock kernel. In order to bypass dm-verity's boot prevention, you will have to install a kernel that has dm-verity disabled in the fstab.
I never installed any custom kernel before installing PEP Rom on my device and people say that we have to flash lazy flaser what is this.
plz do explain every think in detail as i tried asking many YouTubers non of them responded.
Thank You
When all fails. The only solution is to flash miui stock rom.
After i flashed google pixel android 12 beta.. I was not able to use twrp again... I tried to reflash other versions of twrp still does not work... Then installed stock recovery and locked the boot loader and then unlocked it again.. Installed twrp again that time it worked.. After i restarted my phone same problem
Reflash phone's Stock ROM to get rid off of all modifications you applied so far.
