(UPDATE 1) Hard bricked alps m733w tablet. I need the stock firmware! - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

UPDATE: I found a firmware which was for a newer revision of the motherboard(it was for V5.1, mine is V4.1)but it booted up anyway . Everything works, except for the display. It is showing me a pattern made from small white dots. Could it be the firmware or the LCD? (the tablet was sitting for almost 2 years before I reflashed it)
Hello,
I hard bricked my alps m733w tablet by flashing an incompatible preloader. I then found some instructions on how to enter META mode and I tried to find for the stock firmware online but those "ROMS" were either password locked (I couldn't unzip them) or they were deleted.
Can somebody help me? Can you please send me a compatible and trustworthy stock firmware?
Here is some useful info:
CPU: MT6572
Model: HX-M733-MB-V4.1
Android version: I think it ran 4.2
Firmware(according to those sites that I went to try and find the firmware): MT6572___M733W__HONGXIANG__4.2.2__ALPS.JB3.MP.V1.60.rar
I'll be using SP flashtool to reflash my device.

[Q] can any one help me with my rk3066 tablet

my device is an unbranded chinese device ordered from chinavision.com called starlight rockchip model number 101d android version 4.0.4 kernel 3.0.8+ and its firmware is rk30sdk_eng 4.0.4 imm76d eng.root.20120913.211420 test-keys and this is what happen. i could not save the copy of this rom because all the tools i used such as clockworks did not run properly. i did back up using titanium backup all the drivers for it so i found a firmware that has 4.1 with same kernel and made for my rk3066 so i flashed it thinking i would be able to install the drivers after. but of course it did not go as planned. i flashed it with rkbatch tool 1.5 and after flashing with no errors i press the power botton and nothing turns on in the screen not even a logo. i can still go back on recovery mode pressing -botton and power my computer picks it up i have then tried multiple of different firmwares with similar kernels made for rk3066 with no luck i even tried using the firmware of a tablet i found that has the closes specs possible to my tablet cube u-30gt but still nothing is flashing on my screen any help? any recomendations? can i build using my drivers and sdk tools a firmware my self? or anyone have the exact same firmware i posted? any help is greatly appreciative. all i wanted was to upgrade to 4.1 lol
Please try this one: http://66.228.126.56/~rom/download/rom/10"/ under the CEM3066T1 directory. It shows a type of D101 when flashed instead of your 101d! Maybe this gets you running again. I used RKBatchtool to flash it.
I am also looking for an update to JB4.1 or 4.2

[Q] Note2 clone from china stucks in a bootloop after root

I'm new to this forum and i'm from germany. So i hope this post is in the right category. And sorry, if my englisch is not so good. I only had englisch at school 10 jears ago.
You can see in the link below my phone from china.
http://www.cect-shop.com/de/android-note-n7100-silbergrau.html#.UZYNJkqndze
I try to root it as described here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2247537
The script rooted the phone successfully. But after a while the phone begins to start new and stucks on a bootloop. I searched a new fimware. Finally i found some on needrom.com. But i found not the 100% same and so i tried to Flash with te SP Flash Tool. (Please don't beat me!) With most Firmwares, the phone doesn't start or the screen doesn't display something. With a Firmware from Star N7100 the phone starts and i see everything on the display. But the home-, menu- and volume down buttons won't work.
Can someone help me to get the right firmware?
edit:
I've tried a long time. Finally i installed the firmware from the star s7189. The phone seems to work, but the screen is pixelated (i hope it is the right word, i used google to translate). I think, the system is the same, but the screen had a other resolution. Maybe thats the problem. The Star is at 854x480. My phone is at 960x540.
OK, i tried many times, many firmwares. I found 2 firmwares, they are nearly perfect. In one are the right camera drivers, in the other are the right display drivers. I have to make this in one uboot. Please, help me.
The second problem are the Buttons. In any firmware are problems with the hardware keys (Volume up, Volume Down, Menu, Home, Back). Here i need help too.
Hi,
Why didn't you just buy a N700 or an I9300? Or an N7102/N7100?
Would just like to know.
I wished, i can buy a original N7100. But i don't had the money for it. So i buyed a clon from china for less money. In this state, the phone can only used as paperweight, damn! And the money is now shattered like the phone, damn²!
OK, i understand. XDA doesn't support or develope for clone devices.
I don't want just the firmware for my device on a silver tray, i look for help to understand the android-system better.
I don't stop to search, before it won't work. So i found the MPai N7100 with the Quad-Core-Processor MTK6589. This phne looks exactly the same like mine. Now i will try this firmware, but i didn't found them.
you need to find this firmware e2001_v89_hydy_20130322
You say it! This firmware should be right. But i can't find them.
The newest firmware is e2001_v89_hydy_20130407. I can also use this. This are Android 4.2. The firmware you say is Android 4.1.
btw
I tried to flash the S7189 firmware and the boot.imb and uboot.bin files from the N7189 you explain in this thread here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41221266 The Display was upside down and the keys won't work right.
I flashed the boot.img and the uboot.bin from the Star N7100. Now the display is right oriented, but the cam won't work and the problem with the keys continues.
@unrealbg
Is it possible to extract drivers from a uboot.bin? I asked, because i had 2 uboot files. In one are the right camera drivers, in the other are the right display drivers. I have to make this in one uboot.
An the second question is: Where can i edit the keys (vol up, vol down, back, home, menu)? I had problems in every firmware with the buttons. They don't register a push.
OK, now the ****ty phone is fully bricked.
I found a firmware for Star N7100 on needrom. I flashed it with SPM-Flashtool. I think, the preloader is flashed too. There was no way to disable the flash of these. The flash seems to be successfully. The bars went to 100% and it says DL OK. I tried to start it, but nothing works.
Ok i like to flash another firmware and load it into SPM. I clicked on Start and connect the phone. The windows sound for recognized device appears. Now only the red bar went to 100%. Then SPM says "No Bootrom USB port was found! COM16 is not a Bootrom (preloader) USB port."
I tried the same with the SP Flashtool. I loaded the firmware into SP, clicked on Start and connect the phone. The windows sound for recognized device appears. Now only the red bar went to 100% and SP says BROM_ERROR : S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032) Here i can deselect/select everything, so i only select the preloader. Same problem.
SP version: V3.1308.0.sn125
SPM version: V3.1034.00-A2013.02.26
try with this https://hotfile.com/dl/223954404/dfbdb2d/SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1312.0.139.7z.html <-- new version
btw i thik your phone is "M Pai N7100 Note 2"
you need to find boot.img from your original rom!
not try files from other firmware because it will screw up your phone!!!
Thanks,
I tried with your tool, but the error are almost the same. The red bar went to 100%, then 2-3 seconds and the Flashtool said:
SP FLASH TOOL ERROR: (8200)
My phone is certainly a MT6589! Flashtool recognizes the phone on COM16 as a MTK USB Port. The screenshots about the Flashtool and the error i attached.
edit
I don't have the 100% right firmware, but i flashed already before the firmware in the attached image (preloader too) and the phone at least starts.

I uploaded a new version try it/ but you need to flash only firmware for your phone not other firmwares (link has been changed in the above post)
You are a King! Thank you very much!
With the new Flashtool it works with Firmware upgrade and the "wrong" firmwarefile. My dealer send me from china just now the right firmware. I'ts in the download. If it's finished, i will try and give the reply here.
edit
OK, the firmwarefile from my dealer is also not 100% the right. Its the right for the phone on his page i buy, but not the right for the phone he send to me. So i will go on... Thanks to your help, i can now go on.
I think, i only must only have the right uboot.

you must select right drivers for your phone from uboot using SP_MDT
Oh dear,
in SP_MDT the boxes for selecting main sensor, sub sensor and lcd are empty.
I had only one uboot file from other device (Star N7189), where i can select anything. In these are the right main sensor and sub sensor drivers, but the wrong display drivers. The Display are upside down, but the touch sensors for display are in the right direction. Its magic!
I had another uboot file, in this are the right display driver, but the wrong main sensor and sub sensor drivers.
The uboot files, i will attach to this post.
I found some information in the logfile of MTK-Droid-Tools. The first time, i connect the phone, i recived this data:
Model : N7100
Build number : e2001_v89_hydy_20130322
Build date UTC : 20130322-060711

Can you send me this firmware?
Sorry for the late response. http://www.needrom.com/mobile/fly-n7100/ Here you can download the firmware.
Now i found the device i had and know what firmwarefile i need.
Here a Link of the device and specs: http://www.chinapadmall.com/mpai-n7100#.UaT-NUqndzc
And here a Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FriO5G8pqk
I still search for this firmware. It#s very hard, to find the firmware. I cant belive, that i am the only one, who had this device. Nowhere a firmware to download.
But on my way, i am now one step further. I think, uboot-file are the key. I found 3 firmwares, wich come very close to my device.
First firmware (Star N7102): Right displaydrivers, but wrong cameradrivers and the buttons and sofkeys won't work right.
Second firmware (Star N7189): Right cameradrivers, but wrong displaydrivers and the buttons and sofkeys still won't work right.
Third firmware (MIZ Z6):Yes, the buttons and sofkeys work right. I hear it and think i see it in the pixelated display. I think you guessed it. Wrong
displaydrivers and wrong cameradrivers.
In my opinion, all drivers are in te uboot-file.

hello i have this and is looping you got the ROM to flsh? pls

Unknown soft bricked MTK8382 7 inch tablet. I need help resuscitate it.

I found this bricked tablet, it's a generic chinese 7 inch tablet, it has the MTK8382 processor, single SIM, but I can't figure out anything else about it. Is there any kind of universal rom for these things? I tried to install some roms I found online for models with a similar shape but I ended up bricking it, now it just display lines on the display or a white screen when I turn it on, nothing else works. Should I just throw it away?
It's this generic model that can be found on alibaba if you want to buy in bulk and start your awful tablet company: http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/MTK8382-7-inch-alps-tablet-pc_60273334448.html
I managed to resuscitate it using a rom meant for a device called IKON 7 Tablet, also known as Royqueen MR706. I had flashed at least 20 roms for similar devices before I found this one. It works 100%, even the camera and the FM radio, so it must mean it's a clone of a clone of a clone with the same source hardware from the same crappy chinese factory. This rom is pretty decent too, moderately fast and only has a few crappy games preinstalled, no malware or weird stuff. It even comes with the google apps (still not giving it my google account), flash player, and office suite.
This is the info from MTK Droid Tools. Any other rom I can get for this device to make it a bit more useful?
Also, it seems like I lost the original IMEI of this device. Is there any way to recover it or give it a working IMEI?
I have the same tablet too!

Hi! I have the same tablet and in my case this ROM not worked.
My tablet is: Mediatek MT8312v. Was bricked, and I tried flash with ROM royqueen MR706D by rp_yonex (maybe you saw it out there) but not revived correctly... showed a IKON logo when it start but the display and touch function failed, the screen is misaligned or is seen as half, i don´t know how say, just not functioned correctly.
But i think that i'm not very away from solution.
Even though the screen does not work very well, I could get this data in the "settings/ about tablet" :
Model number: IK-TPC783
Android version: 4.2.2
Baseband version: MOLY.WR8.W1315.MD.WG.MP.V18, 2013/11/29 20:10
Buil number: MT83x2_MR706_MR7063L1C2W1.2014031418
Custom build version: 1.19_20140125
Hardware info: MT8312
Please help!
I'm having an issue with a VERY similar device... It's an MR706, with zero markings indicating brand/manufacturer... The motherboard appears to be model K20-MB-V1.0 and there's a chip (not sure WHICH chip) with a brand called FORESEE on it. Anyway - I attempted to update the firmware using that royqueen scatter, and now the thing won't boot at all. Held the reset button, held all buttons, plugged in (it was at 96% battery before I flashed it) - nothing. Wondering if it's totally bricked or if there's some magic that someone can teach me...

You must be sure the exact model to the chip (the big one usually). In my case it's "MediaTek ARM MT8312v". You can search a compatible ROM to flash with the SP Flash Tools.
Or check if this help (mytabletguru.com/how-to-find-chinese-tablet-firmware)

While I'm a fairly seasoned technician, I'll fully/freely admit to this being the first Android tablet I've taken apart. Here's a picture of the innards - help? The only chip with writing/markings is on the top-left - and there's nothing with MediaTek, ARM, or MT - though there is a number that's been popping up in my searches (8382)...

PLEASE HELP ME
I just noticed these new posts in my thread. Unfortunately I'm not able to help any of you because I literally fixed mine via trial and error. Like I said I kept flashing rom after rom until one worked. I bricked it in several ways before getting the right rom, it had all kinds of issues from not booting at all, showing a boot logo and then bootlooping, showing lines on the screen, and so on. I found it by googling for devices with similar hardware.
But honestly, it wasn't worth it to fix this p.o.s.
If you have a similar device you're better off getting rid of it and buying a new one.

Why QFIL failed on stock firmware, but not on alternate device_code firmware

Hi there, if you don't mind please read carefully what I write below.
I really need help on flashing Vsmart Joy 1 Plus (PQ4002) stock Vsmart OS 2.0 (VOS) - android 8 firmware.
This is device info: https://www.devicespecifications.com/en/model/92b24f11
Story begin when I was on VOS 2.5 - android 9. After running these stock firmwares of it through Miracle Box + QFIL, the phone NEVER turn on at all, remain as HARDBRICK no matter I trying to flash it. QFIL still report as "Succeed" result, no error, but still brick. So far I have tried these sources:
1. https://www.fshare.vn/file/6E9QOWBIF8N9
2. http://www.mediafire.com/file/lgh7g..._1_Plus_PQ4002_8.1.0OPM1.171019_QPST.zip/file
3. https://www.fshare.vn/file/QJ6Y244X29T2
None of them worked. I even took this phone to warranty center but they claimed broken emmc somehow. Furthermore, I format all partition table in QFIL, still no help.
But when I flash this Infinix HOT S3X X622 firmware, it worked https://firmwarefile.com/infinix-hot-s3x-x622; because PQ4002 and X622 identical hardware specification.
So my question is what I have to do to flash the original firmware? Something wrong with it?
Update: i solved myself after found the correct QFIL firmware and android 8 fastboot firmware for it.
