hello everyone, do you think it is possible to force 90hz on all apps? I ask this because some applications don't go to 90hz for example youtube, and this is really annoying. Thanks to those who answer!

Hi all,
I've just bought a Mate 10 Pro and noticed when opening apps like Google Maps, Outlook and Chrome, the screen brightness decreases slightly, not much but it's noticeable. It's not in all apps, just some.
I don't have auto brightness on so it's a little annoying. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?
Also, does anyone know if this is a bug or is it intended? I would have thought if it was intended, it would be for all apps not just some?
Thanks in advance.
Did you solve this issue?
Hi I love this phone but this bug is driving me crazy so this problem still persist I use P10 before and this is also why I hate huawei
then now Im using mate10
I hate this auto dim problem on certain apps even my auto brightness is off specially when playing games I guess it's automatically save battery on its own. The brightness will reduce itself and fps drops on playing games I already remove those power saving on settings even on configuring apps on settings
do you guyz also have this problem? this is also present on opening facebook,chrome,dialer,etc
please help

90hz on pubg was a OnePlus exclusive a week or 2 ago so I'm guessing you need to wait for it to roll out to others
You can fix this problem by setting the screen to 60 hz and deleteing , battery and performance, app cache and data. Now set the screen and to 90 hz and enjoy.

Explain well!!!!
If u can't find battery and performance app, install an app called ,hidden setting for miui, from play store and there is an app manager in it with system app show feature.

Step:
1. Go to settings -> display -> refresh rate -> 60Hz
2. Go to settings -> apps -> manage apps -> search "Battery and Performance" -> clear data -> clear all data.
3. Go to settings -> display -> refresh rate -> 90Hz.
4. Play PUBG with 90Hz
Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem: opening the Camera is snappy, taking a picture is fast, but if i need to take a quick video of something you can just forget about it, because Switching from Picture to Video is extremely slow, more than 5 second.
Is there any way to fix this?
If not, is there any way to set video as default, or double tap volume down to go directly into Video?

Hi did you manage to fix it? I have the same issue
Coming from Oneplus 7T and the force 90hz option worked for Snapchat.
On the Pixel 6 "Force peak refresh rate" does not force Snapchat. When the camera is being used it drops to 60hz. When the camera indicator goes away it goes to 90hz.
Any fix?
Dang, why do you have to force the Snapchat to 90Hzzzzz?
P6 locks to 60hz whenever the camera is used in any way. This makes certain apps that call the camera feel very stuttery. I too would like a way to force 90hz.

Yeah. Talk about a huge oversight by Google. Even Chinese phones get this right.

I mean it's just a photo-sharing app so 90hz is just unnecessary
