Amazfit Bip S Training error - Amazfit

Hello. During cycling activity, a training reset occurs and data is not saved. Reset occurs spontaneously: maybe after 5km, or maybe after 70km. The watch vibrates and the training breaks.Has anyone encountered this problem, are there any ways to solve it?
Amazfit Bip S (firmware version 2.1.1.08)
Amazfit latest app with Play market 4.5.0-play from 06.16.20

Did not happen to me so far. Make sure you do not press the button by mistake.

The watch sits tight, even if I bend my wrist strongly, I can’t press the button

Also had this issue 2 times, but never at indoor cycling. Today I got new FW, hopefully it is fixed.

Yesterday I drove 52km (~ 3 hours), the training was not interrupted. I will continue to test, I will write about the results after 10 workouts

I just received this update and installed it immediately, April 1, 2017 security patch, I honestly don't know what's changed in this update.

Look at the bottom of the page, it says "Your watch is now updated with M1D64I"
That doesn't seem quite right..

Yes, the new build number is NWD1.171020.001.
This "Maintenance release note" has been published 28/10/2016.
Battery issue after update
Started facing battery issue after AW 2 update. I have read may of you are facing the same issue. Have been writing to motorola on twitter handle but they will respont that they will investigate the matter and reply. No reply so far. I think individually we wont be able to douch about the issue. Can every person on this forum who has been facing the same issue send me your email ids so we can put more pressure on these guys and get some positive response.
Here in India they have stopped providing any kind of service ( paid or free) for the watches that are out of warranty. The product we bought for 24000 INR is just waste and cant do anything about it.
Pl send me your email ids on [email protected] and will see hat best i can do to get it resolved.

HELP - Amazfit Stratos - Problems after 2nd recharge and upgrade.

Sorry if I'm posting on the wrong area of the forum.
Hello Guys, My Stratos is pretty new(lesse than one week) and it was working fine until yesterday, during morning I received some notification for an upgrade and I executed(now its running 2.3.4). During the night I did my 2nd fully recharge, after remove from cradle I verified its not working properly.
Main problems
- Touchscreen is not responsive as used to be
- Screen is flicking
- Some menus like configurations and notifications are going up and down crazy.
I did some videos, but unfortunately as a new user of this forum I'm not allowed to post external URLs.

Unless the manufacturer can offer any advice, might need to return it.
Screen flickering and ghost touches are either caused by dirty on screen or defect. If it's new then probably it's the second one...
I really hope I can found some solution by myself, If I had to return it to manufacturer I`ll probably have a great financial loss once I'm in Brazil and I`ll probably have to pay freight and taxes.

Unfortunately NO.
After contact with manufacturer they asked me to ask support to seller.
The Seller, GearBest, asked me to return the product to China and after some review they would send me a new one, but with all transport and taxes under my account. I already had brazilian tax of 50% of the value when 1st one arrived.
So, this has become financially infeasible. it would not be worth it anymore. I decided to live with the problem never using the touch and using the device just to run.
You can try to unlock the bootloader and to flash newest stock or custom Rom

GPS Tracking

Has anybody checked out their timeline on Google Maps or any other apps such as sport activity tracking like Runkeeper?
Since I started using my UK bought CPH1919 last week, it appears there are GPS points missing so routes look like a lot of long straight lines as opposed to the actual directions I took.
I'm using the 'high accuracy' setting for location & so not sure what could be causing this issue but it's a big problem for me.
Has anyone else noticed this issue or got any thoughts?

I also noticed this recently but i have not investigated yet. Might be power savings ? Maybe we should try with power saving off to see if it solves the problem (and then get the issue to oppo)
I've turned off Smart Power Saver so now there are no battery efficiency settings set on my phone - will see how things go.
I have queried the issue with Oppo UK on Twitter but after 2 days, they have failed to reply.....
Still no better for me after toggling with the different battery settings as outlined above, as well as a new Maps update & phone firmware update!
And still no Twitter response from Oppo.......

No response from Oppo, tried everything I could think of so took it back to the shop. They were non-the-wiser so I'm going back tomorrow to swap for another.
Fingers crossed it was just a bug in the one I had!
What version do you have? I had the green option, I'm now getting the black due to a delay in availability of the green.
Got the black version. Not sure the color is playing a part here but please do tell if the new unit is acting the same !

Yeah, I'm aware of this issue, it doesn't really happen in my City but I have had occurrences. In fact, when I was tracking my parents recently while they were shopping in town, they were showing as 200 miles away!
The problem I've been facing is there aren't enough GPS points recorded so my true route is not recorded - most annoying when I go for a run & obviously all the timings are out. My previous Huawei phone didn't have a problem & even my Nokia N95 from 2007 was better than this!
UPDATE: new phone appears to be exactly the same so far......
I there anyone else having issues with location info??!

Training usage issue on Amazfit Stratos 3??

Hi guys! I'm new to the forum, so I'd like first of all to introduce myself : I´m a 40 yo Portuguese guy with a soft spot for gadgets
Anyway, what brings me to the forum: I recently bought the Amazfit Stratos 3. I've noticed this annoying feature (or is it a malfunction?): Everytime I go running, I set up the watch to track the training, and every time, after 1,6 km, the watch stops training by itself. Is it suposed to be like that, or is there something wrong with the watch/settings? Thank you for all the help

The actual Firmware 4.2.6.0 seems to be buggy when it comes to activities with GPS. A lot of users here experienced some issues after updating to 4.2.6.0. Have a look in this thread and the pictures from winni21 if they are similar to your problems:

We are waiting for a new fixed firmware for several weeks now. The only possible solution at the moment is to downgrade to 4.2.5.0. With 4.2.5.0 everything is runnig fine for me and other users. You have to unlock the bootloader to downgrade and you will lose your waranty with this step.

I've compared my issue with the one U mentioned (winni21), but it doesn't match my issue at all. Considering that I bought my unit a week ago, i´ll be hoping for a new FW update, because I don´t want to get a void warranty just yet. Anyway, i've trained today with my watch without the glitch: Ib trained with no goal setting, and the watch behaved "normally". Thanx for the help!

After a short time it crashes. It shows senseless numbers (for instance a million of hours), then the data is lost. Newly starting it, this process repeats.

Yes roll back to 4.2.5.0 which work like a charm. i don't know if anyone has informed Amazfit i did not.

after a software update 4.2.7. i have still the same issue with GPS... do you also have guys??
In my case, the watch stops recording activities after like 5 min, No error message or anything.... I'm really unhappy with amazfit/Xiaomi.... Most of the tech related products I've bought in the last 4 years are from Xiaomi (inc. a stratos 2 that died after 18 months of use)... I'm really thinking that Xiaomi is no longer at the level they were a while ago or they say they are... Very disappointed... Let's see if this gets fixed or I just give up and buy something else

Just had this issue with the 4.2.7 firmware, plus notifications never coming thru not impressed and no sign of an update from amazfit
