Hello Members,
The device was stuck in boot loop so i tried to flash via EDL mode. First it came to edl mode but while flashing i got some XML error. Now i tried to put the phone again in EDL mode but its not working.
I had removed the battery and and i have connected to 2 jumper pins 1 and 4 and connect the usb but the phone dont seems to come to edl mode. just flashes the MI screen and power off repeatedly.
Now i connect the phone directly with battery on and its coming as charging but surprisingly the phone got detected, the device manager shows the phone as Linux file stor gaget usb device. I tried to flash with mi flash tool and its running indefinitely saying flashing..

Hello!!!
I've noticed it wasn't only me who are stuck with their HTC Desire 310 (an MT6582) Brick because of a faulty flash!
Since SP Flash Tools refuses to flash the phone since the phone is disconnected after 2 seconds from booting it in Meta/Preloader mode we are not able to flash it.
so Please if anyone could help us to get that phone flashed alot of people will be happy for that me 1st!
****now for everyone to know the details of the issue****
1- After flashing anything whatever it was the phone will get Hard Brick which means that Preloader or Bootloader "1st 2 data partations" is faulty.
2- Since Factory Mode is in Bootloader so you are not able to access it
3- since adb starts after bootloader phase so also u cant access it.
4- THANKFULLY we can get the phone into Preloader Mode by Removing Battery ===> connect usb ===> then hold Volume Down
5- In Preloader Mode the phone shutsdown in approxmatly 2-3 seconds getting SP Flash Tool Recognising it for 2 seconds only to give you the RED bar and an Error of S_BROM_DOWNLOAD_DA_FAIL(2004).
6- You can also get the phone into Preloader mode by Removing battery =====> connect USB =====> plug the battery back in. the phone will get into Preloader Mode for 2 seconds too then will shutdown then will get into Battery Charging mode that also don't work and will make the phone Load then Bootloop on the Splash Screen not ANDROID Bootanimation
((((IF you noticed everything happens because Preloader mode doesnt stay on more than 2 seconds))))
1- Preloader Mode connecting for 2 seconds is actually NORMAL and that's what is suppose to be as alot of people saying and it will stay in preload mode when SP Flashtool recognise it.. however that isn't happening with us, the flash tool recognise the phone "it goes from idel to RED bar means that phone disconnected" so there must be something would keep the phone from shutting down.
Please give me help i'm trying to revive my friend's phone... Thank you in advance...

stupid red blinking have to option:
1. red blinking means you are in EDL mode.
2. red blinking meand your battery have not enough charge to turn your phone on.
so you may have ran out of charge. or charger adapter or cable problem.
Recently, I bought a xiaomi redmi note 3 with the 650 version. I switch to Miui 8 China Fastboot Room from a Global Fastboot Rom, also for unlocking the bootloader. But after I have finished my flashing, it turns out that the Note 3 can't turn on, Stucking on the MI logo for 2 times then turns off again. I tried connecting it to the PC, but the led blinks red. I tried to flash the Miui again but it doesn't show the device. My PC recognized the port as Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 900E, but I can't take it to EDL mode. I tried entering it from the Fastboot mode but still didn't work. Any Help?
*P.S: It also blinks red when I entered the Fastboot Mode
Just checking, but did you use the fastboot edl v2 to enter EDL?

when i fail to unlock bootloader in official method then i tried miui8 flashboot Rom from mi flash tool with modified emmc_appsboot.mbn file from one of the developer i bricked my Redmi note 3 Qlcmm650
solution:- 1) remove back cover & disconnect the battery around 1 minute reconnect it (recomended one if this not possible for you then try 2nd method)
Or
2)full discharge the battery Then charge it more then 35% (it will also work as diconnecting the battery)
connect the computer &and press volume + & - button together
connect the PC & vol buttons press both are at the same time then you enter the correct EDL mode (same red light but this time correct EDL mode you can flash the rom use official Fastboot rom Dont modify the contents)
if i helped you hit thanks
I was in same situation today: Mobile doesnt do anything else then red-blinking, no edl or fastboot. Pc only saw "Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 900E".
Found the solutions mentioned by Chinmayhegde, but i didnt get the cover off the device and dont want to damage new mobile.
then i found the method "Deep Flash".
its small manipulation of usb-cable: put a small wire on second terminal, put in pc and then pull the wire.
i succeded after second try. then pc sees "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" again and miflash is able to flash the device.
see this tutorial for creating the modded usb cable: http://en.miui.com/thread-310325-1-1.html
Hope it works
if your phone still able to enter fastboot, you can try to use fastboot to edl v2 to enter download mode
if it still not help, most safe & easy mode is using deep flash cable as above post
I have same problem.
Even I try booting fastboot mod but it keeps restarting.
Even fastboot logo comes by just pressing volume down button. So I think power button is stuck. That's make phone restart all the time.
How to overcome this problem?
Thanks

Try To Remove Your Battery than Use MiFlash Tool To Flash Your Mobile Bro.
My vivo Y55L was stuck in a boot loop and did not go ahead of the vivo screen.
I tried flashing the stock ROM through QFIL but it gave me a EDL Firehouse error and the flash was unsuccessful. I disconnected the phone to reconnect but to my misery the phone does not connect to QFIL anymore. When i press the power up and down button and connect the USB the computer gave me an error USB device not recognised and may have malfunctioned. if I power up the phone now it doesn't start and goes back into the bootloop for 2-3 times before switching off. I have tried reconnecting the USB and reinstalling ADB drivers and Qualcomm drivers. But still the same error, Device receptor not recognized and USB device not recognized may have malfunctioned. Any solutions will be appreciated
I was trying to install a modified ROM in redmi note 3. The rom had a modified emmc_appsboot.mbn and a modded recovery.img. I entered in sp flash tool and was flashing the rom and the app crashed or battery ran out while installing. Now the fastboot and the os were bricked. At this point when I tried to boot the MI logo was showing up for a second and then it reboots. At this point, it was showing up as a fastboot device on my pc so I tried using command fastboot reboot edl and it worked (in the black screen). now in edl mode (red light blinking when plugged in), I tried installing stock rom and again it was interrupted ( due to maybe battery issue). Now when I connect the device to pc it detects as 900e instead of 9008, whenever I press the power button it blinks red light like in edl mode ( this may also happen if the battery has no juice), I cannot charge coz its still in edl mode.
I tried Deep Flash cable, it didn't work. I then manually updated the driver from 900e to 9008, it shows up in mi flash tool but installation fails with the error cannot receive hello package.
After ****ing my device this much I went to a mi service center and they said that when they try to install software, it fails. They dunno why, I guess the battery is not enough to install the software.
Finally, They asked to replace the motherboard. since spending 5k on kenzo in october 2018 is a waste any bright minds have any idea for repair,?
