Hi,
My xz1 shut down by itself and now i can't turn it on.
The screen is still off, only vibrates when it wants to turn on.
vol + & pwr vibrates three times for 10 seconds. When connected to the charger and computer, the LED is constantly orange.
I can turn on flash mode, the LED is constantly green. I was flashing the phone through newflasher and doing repairs through xperia companion. The installation went smoothly in both programs, but the phone still only vibrates.
Will try to disconnect the batteries. Is it possible that the screen or its driver has been damaged
When the phone shut down it had more than half the battery and it worked fine

When I put the phone on the charger the red LED is on, but it won't switch on whilst on the charger. If I disconnect it the phone switches on until after the boot screen then dies. I assume its a problem with the battery, has anyone else had this problem?
Mine does this too but if I hold the power button it will boot up normally.
You can also try holding up and the power button for 3 seconds until it vibrates then let go, this will turn it off completely, then you can try holding the power button to start it up
hello! sorry, i'm completely new with this kind of stuff so please bare with me ;_;
i've recently dropped my xperia z2 phone into water and it won't turn on. charging the phone only shows a red LED and disappears once disconnected. the battery shouldn't be flat since it was 80-90% when dropped. i've tried holding the power button + volume up, which made the phone vibrate (three times i think?), but no longer does anything when power+volume up is pressed. when plugged into a computer, it says the usb device has been installed correctly, but it still does not read.
i feel there's not much that can be done, but i've put the phone in some rice for several hours now praying. is there still hope for me? ;__;
I was using flashlight on my phone and battery was nearly dead. It suddenly drained completely, and after that I never got phone to boot up even after charging it for 5 hours. What happens when I plug it in is, LED lights flash in different colors one by one, red-green-blue red-green-blue, and so on endlessly. I tried holding down power button with volume buttons, first for 15-30 seconds, and then up to 2+ minutes and that didn't boot it up as well. What should I do to get my phone to turn on!?
Sorry for the English, is google translate.
Hi, I need your help, recently my m4 stopped recognizing the battery, it marks me that it has 0% and when I connect it to the power, it does not turn on the led nor does it mark me that it is charging, if I turn it on while it is off, Lights a few seconds together with the sony logo screen and then goes off and starts an endless cycle until the battery is fully discharged, once it is completely discharged, I disconnect it to reconnect it and it shows me on the screen that the battery is low And the led stays on. Once the battery has enough charge to turn on the phone, it does the same, the computer turns on the sony logo and goes off, however, when I disconnect the charger and turn on the computer, I can use it normally even if it indicates that The battery has 0%, the battery charges with the phone on, but it does not recognize me that it is charging, it does not turn on the led ...
In the pc, it allows me to start the computer in fastboot mode, already use pc companion and flashtool, but still the same, I would like to know that this problem is due, thanks ...
Hold volume down and power button for 15 seconds
Hi guys, so I recently came across my old phone and just remembered all the things I had on it. However when I try to switch the phone on, nothing happens. I've left it on charge for a few hours and still nothing. I tried to turn it on again (even during the charging process) and still nothing. I then gave it the old soft/hard reset by holding down the power+volume down button for 15 secs, nothing. Then held down all the buttons....nothing, no vibration, no form of life whatsoever.
When I plug it into the PC, the sound of a device being connected plays, then the disconnect sound follows about 3 seconds after. I tried the soft reset method when I plugged it into the PC and after about 10 secs, the same sounds played as if my computer had detected a device but then disconnected it. This must mean there's some sort of life in the phone right? Any chance anyone knows a solution to this?
Charged it for about 4 days, still no sign of it turning on!
After charging, press and hold Vol-down and On/off buttons together for a longer time. It should vibrate and switch on.
Best regards,
Joachim
