I have Samsung J2 Pro SM-J210F. It is running andoid 6.0 and is not root.
Whenever I try to select a file in gmail in chrome browser or any other browser, the file picker doesn't show the internal/external memory. I have 6.01/16 GB internal and 26/32 GB external free storage. Also I had tried selecting files in google drive app, but there also hard luck. Fiel picker there also doesn't show up internal/external storage.

And Youtube App is Disabled.
I would be glad if someone can identify the problem and get the internal/external storage back.

In the image you have given, In 3 don't menu in top right corner there may be show Internal Storage option.
If it is there you can enable it.
Or choose a good manager from Google Play Store or MiXplorer from https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1523691
Thanks

- Are you really sure you need all those mods?
- You can always move apps to sd card, even if they are system apps - just convert them to user apps and move them.
- Integrate updates into system apps, and them move them to user (like gmail, maps, youtube...)
- Delete things like live wallpapers, xperia wallpapers, any app thats basicly just pictures, use the smallest size defaulttheme apk you can find: run file explorer, go to system/app, sort by size and start deleting things from the top (that arent really necesarry)
- save all images you got trough mms, and delete messages. They take up a lot of space (mine took up 14MB) Use SMS backup or something, save them and delete them in the phone, also clear dial history
Other than that, what the hell did you isntall that takes up so much space? Are you REALLY sure you need all those things?
Oh yeah, that 1gig you 'dedicated to internal memory', thats only really useful for android <2.1, which didn't support native app2sd. Link2sd allows you to move any app to sd card with native app2sd. And you can only store apps trough link2sd on that second partition, system doesnt see it as system (unless you remounted system as /system + /sd-ext but thats only my theory, I have no idea how that would be possible.

Surely it is easier to just back up your apps to SD card and then install them from SD card rather than having to download the installer from your link and then have an installer that has lots of apps that people won't want to install just to get a few they do...

agree
i mean, isnt easier and lighter store apks at sdcard? faster too. aroma would take triple of the common time.
but anyway goodwork, i am thanking this thread for the hard work :good:
You are correct my friend but not everyone does that. There are a lot more people who actually do not backup. You can always choose what you want to install in aroma.
I had recently disabled the notifications of download manager. I managed to do this by holding down on the notification of play store download progress and going to the settings from the icon that appeared next to it. But now I want to re-enable the notifications but I can't find download manager in the list of applications in the settings. Please help me.
Now all I get while downloading an app from play store is the download completed notification. I can't see the notification showing the progress of the download. Please help....
Go to settings, apps, 3 dots, show system apps, android set up app and clear data. Also clear data for play store and relaunch and see the behaviour. However, it may not show the download progress from play store but it will display if updates are available or not, apps installed, apps updated etc.

EMUI does not show android setup application in the list of apps and there is no option to show system apps like you said. Also, I already have the update available and apps installed/updated notification. I want to get back the download progress notification.

Yeah sorry I got it. There was an option at the bottom to show system processes. I think I've fixed it. Thanks for the help.
Hello Everyone,
I got an HONOR 9X from China, and tried to install Google Apps successfully!
I'm so excited and can't wait to share the method here! Hope it can help some of you.
Google Service Assistance is the only way to get G-apps on HONOR 9X and other new HONOR devices.
The application is running in a stable way and has not encountered any problems like crashing or bugs.
App name: Google Service Assistant
[Download]: http://www.lzplay.net/#/
Support ROM: EMUI 9.1.1 B120 and above, without pre-installed Google service
Application size: 2.9MB
Language: only Chinese

After the installation, the app asks for login with Google account / Huawei ID.
After logging in you can go to play store and login Google play and then you may use 9X like a global model!
Reminder: If your phone has backup apps from Google play, please delete them and download again, because they are crashing!
Note:
Google apps are working very stable and there are no bugs or crashing, pls don't worry.
Google play store apps' update is working normally without problem with updates.
DOes not work.
Does the above methods pass safetynet, for example, ctsprofile/basic integrity = true?
Download this 2 Files Huawei Backup and Google Apps
Unpack both files and Google Apps Pack copy on Your SD Card or internal Memory.
The second unpacked Folder (Huawei Backup) copy in your Huawei Backup Folder.(SD Card/Huawei/Backup/backupfiles1)
Start the Huawei Backup App and restore this Backup.
Open the App was restored and otherwise do not, close immediately.
Install the Google Apps from the Second Folder that you have previously copied to the SD card or internal memory and reboot the Phone.
This Procedur works on my Honor 9x Pro
