Hello good day everyone!
Can i ask you guys about this *#9900# code in Samsung that shows "Sysdump"
I found a thread here that turning on "low battery dump" fixes battery drain and slow charging?
How accurate is low battery dump? And what happens if i turned it on?
Thank you sir.

Hi
Its been 2months i bought galaxy s2 and 1 thing i dint like is the battery life. Im getting only 5hours of battery life with internet on. Ive installed the battery life saver apk Juice Defender and still the battery life is very less. Please suggest me something.
Also i read a post in the same website saying that the android 2.3.3 has this OS problem. The form told me to shutdown the phone and remove the battery for 5mins Nd use again. But when i shutdown the phone the battery was 45% and when i switched on again, the battery indicator was 15%. Then after sometime, it increased to 27% without charging and then reduced normally. Please help me with this, what might be the reason for battery life being inconsistant and what can be the solution

you might have an application that keeps your phone awake. what i mean is by having your screen off there are applications in the background still running. So my best advice is Juice Defender does not do anything and infact it drains more battery than saving it.

probably yes... Bcos when in idle, sometimes the display suddenly turns on and again after sometime. Is it possible that the phone is infected with virus?

I believe you have rooted your phone, if not follow chainfire thread ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399) for rooting the phone. After rooting goto CWM recovery > Advanced > Wipe Battery Stats. This should give you a clean slate on the issue of battery inconsistency.
As for battery drain, remove all battery saving apps like JD, they infact consume more battery. Install Betterbatterystas apps from market ( paid app) or the free version available on XDA, and check for the partial wakelocks / kernal wakelocks to get to know what apps are killing your battery.
Link to the Betterbatterystats thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809
hope this helps!

Which Rom you are using at this moment...
Yes Smasung Stock Roms do have this problem as reported by Some users.
If you want give it a go ... Try Battery Mods for S2 ... They do help In this Inconsistency.
Depending on your Current Version You can find Battery Mod which will help you.
E.g for XWKL1 Check out this thread forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1188132
hello everyone!, i have a serious battery problems:
1. battery charging takes min 8 hrs!!
2. battery Discharges very very fast
i changed battery and charger and it still the same...
BUT notice that when the phone is off - charging takes 1-2 hrs
i dont know what its the problem, can someone help? thanks.
Have the same flash boeffla kernel and increase the charging of your charger and your battery will load very fast
Device: Samsung Galaxy S3
ROM: CyanogenMod 11 (Temasek Unofficial V36 )
Kernel: Boeffla-Kernel-CM11-2.1-Beta9-
1-2 hours is normal for a charge, actually its very decent. Run full charges only. Charge ONLY when battery is less than 20% and charge continuously till 100%. Check you battery usage. If you have bluetooth, wifi, 3g and whatnot on all the time your battery life will be bad and will take longer to charge.
Search the web there are many more specific solutions.
Specify if you are on stock rom and kernel.
Edit: I would NOT increase charging current. It will decrease your battery life in long run.

Tell what firmware you are using and install better battery stats and leave it 4-5 hours on standby..see what is draining your battery post screen shots in BBS threads.. And someone would definitely help you...
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
hi guys,
i have s3 4.3 stock rom and kernel,
i saw in battery usage that the screen is 90% .....does it normally?!??!?
it seems like the screen is draining my battery, what can i do??
Lower screen brightness If you are gaming then there is hardly any solution for that. As the post before says, install better battery stats so we can help you further. Also sometimes other things draining battery may come under one name such as 'screen'. Its not new.
The only foremost reason for the battery drain in marshmallow is the cellular signal
I am using an android one (micromax) and after the update from lollipop to marshmallow my phone is
1. Randomly reboots when I am using it ,when its in charge and also in standby!
2. Next comes the battery drain problem, after the update i saw my battery draining even in standby, i don't know why but few days before i saw that the main reason for the battery drain is not some app its the*cellular signal and WIFI* first of all there is no great way than airplane mode to get rid of cellular signal.
So i used the airplane mode and now there is no battery drain in standby and also it drains less battery on usage of the device without cellular signal so till the google fixes the issue the only way to have the battery stop draining is to put the device in airplane mode
Thats all guys if you have any comments or suggestion let me know. I think this article helped you

Hi Guys,
Have a problem with my battery. Very recently my phones shows different percentage after I restart the device at low battery. From 18 to 3%. Please see attached battery screenshot. The battery actually corresponds to the lower percentage.
