Was curious to know what lg charges to replace the lgv30 battery using their mail in service?
Also how far back of phones do they do battery replacements?

Who knows, and I seriously doubt they would support this generations old phone.

I emailed them and they said they do. They charge $20 for diagnostic fee, but I don't know what they charge for the battery replacement. They said it's cheaper than gong with a third party, intersesting.
LG repairs in USA are generally quite reasonable and competitive. Full refurbish (and max repair cost as I understand) is $153 + tax, including shipping. Just replacing a battery should be less.
I'll be interested to hear what price they quote you.

Yeah xactly, I was wondering the same.
Just ask them upfront what the cost would be approximately if they're not willing to give the exact number. :good:
You ever get a response from LG?
It takes 10 mins to replace it yourself. Just need to get a new battery that doesn't date back too far. I see a lot of oems available that has manufacturing date of 2017. Not sure they are the best to have but may be something from late 2018 might do the job.

I just did everything except pay for claim, then backed out. For an exchange of damaged phone for replacement is 50.00 deductible, i may be grandfathered in or ?
Could it possibly be diff deductible if its lost instead of swapped out?
How hard is digitizer to replace, I know they are only 35/bux on ebay, free shipping

Hello,
So I bought an HTC One last May at full price so I could use it abroad. I now want to replace it. What are my options here? Will T-Mobile give me credit if I return it to them? Or would I have to sell it and then buy a phone at full price again?

Most likely: Sell the device and either buy a new one outright again - or use T-Mobile's EIP financing (and then sell the old one).
Out of curiosity; what are you looking to replace it with?

How many days has it's been?
Buy law your under 14 exchange . They will charge you a $50 restocking fee.
Now of it's pass the 14days then some. Places won't do anything. Other will take it in of it's under 30days just charge more restocking.
Other then that sell it for a lost on eBay.

Or try your luck on ebay i seen them go for around $380 ship.
just remember you gotta pay ebay, paypal and shipping fees.

Anything better than Ebay? I hate that site and going through all the hassle.
Any places I can trade it in for a value higher than $200?

I am curious if anyone knows if motorola will allow motocare to be purchased for the Nexus 6.
Their deductible is cheaper than squaretrade so I would like to use it.

If they end up selling the Nexus 6 directly which I suspect they are going to, then they will most likely sell MotoCare for it as well. It's a great plan, I have it on both my Moto X's. They do advanced replacements which gives it another huge one-up over Squaretrade. I'm about to pay the $35 deductible and get a new 2013 Moto X just to get one in pristine condition to hold on to for sentimental reasons.
Not a bad idea but honestly a day apart and no announcement, I thiink that we should not get expectations high.
Moto Care
Motorola states they will not offer MotoCare for the nexus 6 per their forums https://forums.motorola.com/posts/1b06206026

But then if you have the jump program, it's not that much better.
Actually it looks like they have changed their mind and will now be offering it in the future:

JUMP is not for me. I thought about it alot, and realized that its a gimmick to keep people coming back to T-Mobile when new phones come out. It's exactly like leasing a car. I like to own my own car and my own phone outright, and pay cheaper insurance for both

The one doesn't make much sense but i have the original one so it's a bit more worth it, can have a new device pretty much every 6 months and i never really reach anywhere close to full retail price of the phone.

I totally understand, JUMP1 is way better than JUMP2. However, it's still just leasing a phone until you finally separate. i figured I can make out more by buying my phones outright, and selling the old one on Swappa. I only upgrade once a year to the new Nexus, I don't get multiple phones a year. So financially, I am better off without jump.
Off topic, I was seeing a girl from Valley Stream. Nice town, too close to Green Acres though lol. I work close to Long Beach.

Not sure but it does look like you can buy it for the Moto X regardless if you purchased it from moto or from a carrier. There is a drop down that allows you to select your carrier and if you purchased it in the last 30 days.

G3 had a removable battery cover, S6 does not and it would require a bit more hassle to remove it, why would they? People have already received their orders, someone will confirm.

That is true about the battery cover. I just wouldn't put it past AT&T to remove features that is all. I have no problem with them service wise just when it comes to buying phones on contract from them.

My bad, you're right about TMo and not ATT.
Sorry to revive a dying thread. But I think it is enabled even on AT&T. I don't think best buy would give the wireless charger to AT&T pre-orders if it didn't.

I wish I could help you, but, unfortunately, long story short, the seller was bogus, he was merely pre-selling, never actually had the phone in stock.
I was suspicious before ordering, as I couldn't find any other sellers anywhere (Ali Express/Banggood/JD.com /etc...).
I canceled my order.

The actuality of landing one of these is not looking promising at all,if this link from VIVO is any indication:
https://shop.vivo.com.cn/product/10175
I understand there may be something lost in translation.......
Perhaps you know of someone who's fluent in the original translation & can determine,or,reach out to VIVO & see if there's any plans for restocking.
