Apparently, i bricked this device without backing up any roms, so now im stranded as i cant find any compatible roms online.
This device is quite similar to chuwi hi9 air, same build number and specs, just that this device has higher rams and is at android 10.1
Build number: O00623
Custom Built: alps-mp-o0.mp1
It runs on MT6797 X20 Helios, 2560×1600, Android 10.1
Is there anyone that can help out with my situation or perhaps any workarounds? Great appreciated!

I'm gonna be honest this is very unlikely that you'll ever find that. That's one of the reasons I don't recommend buying those no-name chinese tablet.
well i’m just gonna purchase another of this tablet for my dad and back up the rom so i can reflash it on this device
Any tablet can be a bargain, but if it's a faked it usually isn't.
See the proinfo partition ~ 0x200 if there is some text there.
You might be able pull it with SPFlash or similar.
fpl= tells the faked cpu - the next/last one is the real chip...

Hello masters, after lurking for quite some time trying to figure out things by just reading, I finally decided to put away the shy me, give it a shot and start interacting.
Android has educated us end-users to become more savvy into getting the full control with our devices and the many things that we can learn along the way. OK, nuff with the blabbering.
I got a budget friendly phone for this journey - which will be my practice device. I am just fascinated with all the possibilities that may happen with a tiny handheld Android.
So, my initial plan was just to root and install custom ROM for this device. I have done some research for the past couple of hours on how to root SKK Mobile A5. Here are the specs:

1. ROOTING
I have tried several methods and for some reasons only this VRoot_1.4.3.3378_Setup worked from bbs(dot)mgyun(dot)com and sadly I could not understand Chinese so before I get distracted from my primary goal (learning to maximize this tiny handheld and customizing ROM) and try to dissect the application to make an English version or learn Chinese so I can read it, I am going to ask you dear masters, for help. Any other suggestions?
Also, right now it says its rooted but I cannot flash CWM (or maybe it's just because I can't understand the prompts) and as far as what I've read this device doesn't have one yet. SKK's mobile devices looks like they're going to be mass-manufactured and really affordable, so another goal of mine is to maximize this, and also suggest improvements along the way.
I am just fond of simple things that CAN. I hope this ain't too much

Yep as I said I used Vroot. The only thing is it installs Chinese Superuser app which I am not so fond of because I cant understand it.

Hello world.
I think this is my 2nd time here trying to find a ROM to my "useless" device.
I will pay 20$ to the man who finds me a ROM to this device. (Android ROM, with Android Visual)
I will post any information you want, I install any software you want.
Help me solving this little problem..
Long Story Short:
I have this device, I don't even use it though but i find fun to solve problems, and I've been trying to solve this one for a long time.
So, the device is an Iphone Replica (which is already a Problem) and I am trying to install a ROM into the device (smth like CM, KK, anything ) but with no success. The device is Rooted as expected... So I installed already a few software to be able to see what the system is like ..
(an the system itself sucks a lot haha)
I am not doing this for money, I am doing this cause I like challenges ..
Hardware Info:
Model: Phonei5
Manuacturer: alps
Device: K13D
Product: K13D

Android Version: 4.0.2 GBread
API Level: 10
Build ID: GRK39F
Display: 800x480

Maybe you can try this one HERE
But sadly you need to register to the site to download it
The site name is NEEDROM lol!!!
Well then,
I can asure you I already been there, and done that.
That is an Oficial Rom from that manufacturer, What i am looking for is a Android Looking ROM, not that "fake look" of Iphone IOS 5/6
If you know what i mean.
Will I have to work and make my own ?
Because its not even worth it with so many phones at low cost with QuadCore Processors and decent ROMS and Kernels.
I have bought this tablet from amazon and it didn’t work right from the box.
model:
Proscan PLT1077G(BT/1G/8GB)
OS:
Android 4.4.2
Processor:
1.3 GHz 8803 CORTEX A8
karnel:
3.4.67
[email protected] #13
build number:
PLT1077G 20141008
custom build version:
1412756465
I’m getting the following error msg repeatedly:
“com.android.systemui has stopped”
I followed some fixes I found online – I flushed the device’s cache and did a hard factory reset, but no luck.
I searched online but couldn’t find a custom ROM for the device (probably because it is a low budget, non-branded product), so I figured my only way out is finding some kind of a generic ROM to replace the current defective OS.
I realize that a rom that isn’t suitable for my device might cause some problems, but at the moment I’ll settle for a poorly working device rather than a not working one.
My question to you is –
Is that a feasible idea? Can anyone recommend me a rom that might work given my device’s specs?
Alternatively, does anyone know a custom rom for the device or have any other course of action I should try?
Thanks and sorry for my English.

I can't seem to find any custom roms for that device, and I would NOT advise you trying to install one which isn't meant for your particular device. In the past, I've faced that problem too. I ended up fixing it with a full wipe before reinstalling the stock firmware. If you haven't tried that before, I recommend you do.
I have the same Tablet and rooted mine. I could backup my rom.
]The Nebula Mars, which is made by an offshoot of Anker, comes with a custom OS running on Android 4.4. For the unfamiliar, it offers a decent projector in a small size, combined with a battery for portability.
Since this isn't a phone running a typical phone ROM, I'm hesitant to root it and start tinkering, but the stock OS and software is absolute crap. The system allows updates and installation of APKs, but the company says they have no intention of issuing a firmware/ROM update.
Any advice on where to find others who have this device and are also interested in modifying the OS or updating to a newer version of Android? Any recommendations on approaches to non-destructively modifying the OS? I don't think it has a separate partition for restoring prior ROMs, and I'm just inexperienced enough that I'd end up bricking it.
Same question about the Nebula Mars Lite model
So I webd to Walmart and found that they sell the lite model for $349. The problem is that there is no android at all. I am not sure if the hardware is any different because both models look identical. I wonder if there is a way to either install the original mars OS on it or something better ie costom rom of some kind.
Hey ! I'm also interesting in upgrading the OS of my nebula Mars... Any news for this project? Thanks !

just grabbed the Lite version ($180 at my walmart) and it looks like it is running android (lollipop it looks like, PC shows "lollipop" when connected to the wifi settings page) but it's locked away behind it's launcher...
that's all I was able to figure out.
Nebula Mars 2 is on the market with Android 7.1. Anyone trying to port it to Mars 1 please?
I've an unknown Chinese tablet (brand Baiduzhe, model A9000) with chipset MT6797. Can't seem to find any information in XDA about this tablet. For such unknown tablets, how can I root and flash it to custom ROM? Can the generic root/custom ROM work for my tablet?
Here are more details ofthe tablet:
Chipset: Mediatek MT6797 64 core
RAM: 6GB
ARM Cortex-A53
Thanks.

Hi, nope. That's a Samsung A9 if I'm not wrong. Mine is an unknown China tablet brand BaiduZhe. Thanks.
I have the same problem
I have the same tablet Baiduzhe. Its firware or eMMC is deleted. The factory reset page says the firmware is : ALPS.KK1.MP1.V2.36.
How to download and install this ROM. Or if there is another ROM available which can work, please help.
i have found another firmware with the almost the same name: Elephone_G1_ALPS_KK1_MP1_V2.36 from www.combinefile.com, but i don't know if it will work. I don't know how to flash it. Kind help is required.
Anyone here to help me? Please
I just opened the case, and found that A9000 has MediaTek MT6582. Does anyone has its custom ROM please
You can use cpu-z and another app called something like fake tablet info or something to that effect to get full specs. I have an alps ts-m704a sold to me under the pretense it was more than what it is. Has android 4.4.2 as opposed to android 9 as decribed only 64gb storage instead of 128 and only 4gb ram instead of 8gb as described. Finding it really difficult to find a rom or gsi rom which will suit the device. Have had to message the seller about it.
After I get the full specs, how to find its ROM or custom ROM?
