Got a carrier-buyed (Orange France) FX2Pro on CPH2025_11_A.46 (October Security patch) and was proposed ColorOS 11 v.CPH2025NV4A_11_C.57 (although it seems that the server used is a Chineese one, as the download is tidiously slow, 3G in 2h with a fiber-backed wifi that goes to speeds around 500/500)
I also bought my FX2P from Orange France (but they don't lock the phone or use specific carrier ROM), and I'm still stuck on CPH2025_11_A.50.
It seems the rollout is slow to reach all the serial numbers.
Hope the update will come quickly to my phone.
French team too waiting for color os 11 on my unlocked x2 Pro... A50

Hey folks,
After a good year reading this wonderful website I believe I will need to ask for your help or advise.
I am in the possession of a British i9100p originally simlocked on O2, acquired in Nov 2012. In june 2013 I installed CM 10.x on it, and then replaced the battery with an origanal big size Samsung battery in Nov 2013. Today I installed Paranoid Android, latest nightly build on the phone.
Since about half a year I noticed that my phone always overheats while roaming data when abroad, irrespective of using my O2 sim or a pay-and-go sim of the visiting country. Back home I dont experience these overheating issues.
1st time : India with Network of Airtel + sim around Delhi
2nd time : Norway with all networks on my UK sim, Bergen
3rd time: Turkey Turkcell sim, Istanbul
The overheating with battery drain is only outside UK with 3g data, when I switch to 2G there are no problems and the phone is staying cool. Since I will be travelling more soon, I wonder what the problem causes and how to solve it without compromising the 3g connection...
Cheerio
Good Afternoon,
I have Xperia Z2 on Official's Sony OS, and every time I loose 4G and then get it back, I have to turn mobile data off and on again to get the internet back. Until I do that, even with full-on 4G signal it says DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET and none of the internet services work. I was told in T-Mobile that this a known phone problem, although I don't recall having it before I flashed CyanogenMod and went back to Official. Here's my Xperience so far:
1 - Bought the phone (June 2014 in Russia). It was on 4.X, and was working perfectly fine with 4G
2 - Went to US, everything was fine. 4G and all on T-Mobile.
3 - Flashed it to Cyanogen, everything was also fine until I cracked my screen in April 2015. It was resting in a shelf for about half a year, then I fixed it
4 - Went to Russia, flashed on Official Firmware (Got Russian Unbranded, from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2759934 ), Everything was fine.
5 - Came back to US. The problem started.
My bet is on faulty modem firmware and I assume the solution would be to refresh just a modem, but I would like to hear your opinion first before (possibly) breaking my phone
Thank You!
I dont know if it has anything to do with the update, but i updated it recently and i have noticed that the phone dont show 4G+ icon anymore, only 4G.
I live in an area where it is GOOD signalstrength on 4G+, and my Galaxy S8+ is showing 4G+., but not my V10.
Running speedtest it shows "4G+ speeds" at around 120Mbps.
Anyone?

Hi,
Witch variant of Lg V10 do you have?
As my experience with lg H960A i see difference behavior between Turkey and Europe version. In fact with Eu version my phone shows 4G+ sometimes, the Turkey one show 4,5G, think the same things as 4G+, @ND connected every time like a charm.
Someone a while back posted here on xda a file which I believe was radio (modem) from Turkey firmware. The person claim it's working on the Europe release.
On Marshmallow I had 4G+, but now I don't have it anymore. At least the icon.
Is it the Nougat update or something else?
I have the European version H960A
Turkey nougat lg's stock version has some issues as the radio Fm and the english language is set by default and can't be changed in the second screen but gps and network are more best than Eu version.
Europe version are complete and as i undertand you are discovering all the issues.
I test them and i turn back to turkey version
Not quite sure if I understand. Is it the Nougat update or not? What can i do to get the 4G+ icon back?
Bump
Hi there! I have a S9+ Exynos unlocked, bought from Germany and I'm currently using it in Romania with a Romanian SIM card. After installing Pie Update my Data Speeds went down a lot to a point that I can't even watch 1080p on YouTube. We are talking about a difference from 50mbps (Oreo) to barely reaching 200kbps (Pie). Expect all of that the update is great, lots of beautiful changes. Wi-Fi is same as usual (very good speeds, not affected in any way).
Does it have anything to do with the German version of the firmware? Maybe the modem file? I'm thinking about waiting for the Romanian firmware (android pie) to install it over the DBT.
What do you guys think?
P.S. I had the same experience when I first bought the phone, but I can't remember what I did to bring the 4G to its full potential because I did both install the ROM firmware over DBT and also did a factory reset, which I rather do not do again now.
Bought a Huawei Mate 20 Pro International Version (Model LYA-L29) in Hong Kong on my way back to China. After unboxing and turning the phone on to get started, I could only get to the part where the phone was supposed to be "Checking for Update" as it was taking unusually long to check for updates (been trying for hours...) despite connecting to different Wi-Fi networks. Although the phone was made in China, I wonder whether there is an incompatibility issue or if the phone is connecting to a Google-based site which is not reachable in China. How can I get around this problem? Currently, I'm unable to get to even the phone's home screen as I think updates need to be installed for the phone to start working.
I think you might be correct about the problem--Google is currently banned in China but communicating with Google servers might be necessary to set up the phone if it is running the Global ROM.
I'm assuming that using a VPN to access WiFi outside China is illegal. If you plan on going to Hong Kong again you might need to set up your phone outside mainland China. It should then work (except for the Google apps) in China.
There's also someone in a separate thread who has the opposite problem--his parents gave him the China hardware version but he's not in China and wants to run the global ROM with all the Google stuff.
Maybe you could work out a swap with him.
