HMS Huawei Docs vs GMS Google docs
Collaborative online document suites have become a part of so many people's work environment. The ability to edit documents from your phone and share them with others is something every smartphone should have. The first thing that might pop into your mind when thinking about solutions is Google Docs. However, for people without GMS compatible phones, the Google Docs apps will not be available. To solve this, Huawei has its own document app suite that runs on HMS phones. We can compare the two services to see how Huawei Docs holds up.
Google Docs for GMS
Google Docs is available on Android, iOS, and internet browsers. Since this service comes from Google, it's available on a large variety of devices and platforms. Google Docs is able to view and edit the most popular document types, including Microsoft Office documents. The services are integrated into Google Drive which supports all of the cloud features. There are four different document editors that focus on text documents, excel sheets, powerpoint-style documents, and forms.
Included document editors:
Docs
Sheets
Slides
Forms
One of Google Doc's strongest features is the collaborative edit features. Several people can edit a document in real-time, which makes team projects much easier. You can also control who has access to a specific document, and what level of access they have.
Huawei Docs for HMS
For people who have Huawei phones, Huawei Docs is the best alternative to Google Docs. Huawei Docs is currently only available in select regions and is free to download on the AppGallery. Like Google Docs, Huawei Docs can edit a large number of popular document types. You can sync your documents with Huawei Drive and easily share your documents with other people. The one feature that is noticeably missing is the ability to edit documents in real-time with other people. You can still have two people working on a document and syncing their changes, but live edit is not available. There is also no web-access to your files. This means that your documents cannot be edited in a browser.

Given the regional restriction, Huawei Docs is not available to everyone with a Huawei phone, but hopefully, that will change in the future. The editing features are very good and working with all of your different document types is simple. There's lots of potential for Huawei Docs to grow and add features in the future. If Huawei Docs is available in your region, you can download it for free from the AppGallery and use it as a comparable alternative to Google Docs.
Bom início cada vez melhor.

The pace of change for mobile technology is fast-moving – each new device and product builds on its predecessor to enhance users’ lives. Likewise, Huawei Mobile Services (HMS), an ever-evolving technology since its introduction back in the early 2010s, refreshes the user experience with every update. Throughout its growth, Huawei users have enjoyed a consistently enhanced digital lifestyle faceted by security, convenience, and innovation.
When HMS was first unveiled, digital living was at its infancy. Smartphones had limited functionalities, shackled by poor app innovation. Data was stored on-device and users had no access to media content outside of their own personal libraries as streaming technology wasn’t established yet. Compared to the liberating platform of today, the digital lifestyle was lacklustre and limited.

Leveraging Huawei devices’ AI capabilities, users can also search using images or photos they have taken, complementing the fast-paced and convenient mobile lifestyle of today. Future updates even include a voice search feature and strengthened visual search function.

It not only provides global users in more than 140 countries with features including location tracking, map display, driving directions, it also comes with real-time road conditions to provide the best travelling experience. Microsoft Math Solver on HMS vs GMS
Using your smartphone's computing power, along with the camera, you can create a powerful math solving app with advanced features. One of the best solutions for this currently, is Microsoft Math Solver. This app is available for both GMS and HMS powered devices, making it accessible to people all over the world.
The app is free to use from both the Google Play store and the Huawei AppGallery. There are no ads on either version of the app. While both versions have the same basic functions, there are minor differences in the two different versions of the app. Let's compare.
Microsoft Math Solver on GMS
I downloaded the app from the Google Play store and launched it. I noticed that the welcome screen had a broken image. The main example graphic appears black, while the HMS version displays it properly. This is likely a small glitch that could be fixed in time. The app features three main functions including Scan, Draw, and Type. Each function acts as an input method for your math problem.
GMS App Features:
Scan
Draw
Type
Bookmarks
History
Quiz
Examples
Invite Friends
Notification Settings
Share
I tested the app by scanning the following math problem off of a computer screen:
699 x 53
The app was able to read the math problem and provide the solution basically instantly.

Microsoft Math Solver on HMS
The Huawei AppGallery version of the app contains slight differences from the Play store options. While the app functions with fewer errors, it is missing some features. The missing features include notification settings, share, quizzes, and the option to invite your friends. None of these missing features affect the main functions of the app.
HMS App Features:

I tested the app by scanning the same math problem off of a computer screen:

There was no difference in speed between the HMS and GMS version of the app. Both versions can scan the math problem instantly, and provide you with a solution. So both apps perform at the same speed while having minor differences in features.
Good to know..

WPS Office vs MS Office on HMS
Users of HMS phones have access to the Huawei AppGallery which is constantly growing as a fantastic marketplace. Production apps are very important to smartphone users when it comes to editing and creating office documents. Two of the more popular solutions that you can find on the AppGallery are Microsoft Office and WPS Office. Both of these options have been able to evolve over a very long period of time, becoming some of the most prevalent options offering office suites.
Let's look at both of these options that are available on HMS phones and see what they have to offer.
MS Office
If you work in an office setting with a large company, chances are they will be using Microsoft Office applications. The biggest advantage of the MS Office app is that it can connect to your current Microsoft account, and have access to all of your files via the cloud. So using this app will be a way for most people to fit their mobile office suite into their existing office setup.

The Android app which is free on the Huawei AppGallery, will have the following features:
Word
Excel
PowerPoint
PDF
Media
Notes
Forms
Microsoft's most popular office programs are Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. All of these types of documents can be created or edited in the mobile MS Office app. You can create a new document from a blank start or select from one of the templates available in the app. There are also options to use tools for PDF files, image editing, QR codes, forms, and more.
The layout of MS Office is very simple to use. All of the document menus and formatting tools are designed to be similar to the desktop suites. Users that are familiar with the desktop versions of Office will be able to start using the app with less of a learning curve.
WPS Office
Similar to MS Office, WPS Office is a complete office suite with desktop and mobile solutions. The Android app can be downloaded for free on the Huawei AppGallery. Featuring cloud sync options, support for MS Office docs, Google Drive support, and premium subscription features, WPS Office is a really great MS Office alternative.
These are some of the features you'll find on WPS Office for Android:
Document
Presentation
Spreadsheet
PDF
Memo
Scanner
There's a large range of compatible file types, including MS Office files. WPS has a decent selection of templates to choose from, and also features image conversion tools, resume master, QR scanner, and PDF tools.
The start editing documents, you have to sign up for an account. I don't particularly like this feature, because you do not have the option to start editing immediately as you do with MS Office. Many people only need these types of office suites for a one-time use, when trying to edit a document. This puts an entire account creation process in the way of opening a word or excel document when you might only have to do this a few times a year.
Both WPS Office and MS Office are good solutions for anyone with an HMS phone.

How do users quickly find what they want when shopping online?
When users launch an e-commerce app and know what they want to buy, they’ll most likely perform a text, voice, or image search of the exact items they want to purchase. However, if the users do not know what they want to buy, they’ll most likely browse through products recommended by the app. Whether users are willing to make a purchase depends on their search experience in the first scenario and how well you know their preferences in the second scenario. This is why intelligent search and recommendation has become a critical feature in helping users quickly find what they want and thereby improving user retention and conversion.
Utilizing Petal Search’s fully open capabilities, HUAWEI Search Kit offers a one-stop solution for e-commerce apps to quickly and accurately recommend what users want, ensure an accurate and efficient mobile app search experience, and provide personalized search services through deep learning of user and product profiles. Search Kit also offers multi-language support for our ecosystem partners.
1. Quickly building an on-site search engine
Search by keyword
Search Kit equips your e-commerce app with capabilities such as popular search, auto suggestion, intelligent sorting, and search by category.

}
Currently, search by keyword is supported in 32 languages. It is available to e-commerce apps operating both inside and outside the Chinese mainland, and facilitates the deployment of Chinese e-commerce apps outside the Chinese mainland.
Search by image
When a user searches for a product using an image, Search Kit returns accurate and personalized results based on the image and the user's behavior profile.
Images that users use for product search are automatically reviewed and those that contain pornography, terrorism, politics, religion, illegal items, or vulgar content are automatically recognized and filtered out. Search Kit’s image filter function has currently been individually adapted for 30 countries and regions around the world.
Search by voice
Utilizing the automatic speech recognition (ASR) capability, Search Kit features voice input, search by voice, and an in-app voice assistant.
Currently, the following languages are supported: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Turkish, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese, and Chinese. Search by voice can also be tailored to local accents.
2. Intelligent on-site recommendation in multiple scenarios
By analyzing user search history and preferences, Search Kit recommends products to users and displays the search results intelligently. Recommended products are displayed on the home page, category page, product details page, and shopping cart page to help boost the order conversion rate.
3. Search solutions for e-commerce apps
Comprehensive hosting service: Offers easy data integration and operation, freeing you from having to invest resources into complicated data processing or deep learning modeling.
AI support: Provides powerful AI modeling support with Huawei's rich experience in intelligent product search and recommendation.
Data value optimization: Optimizes the value of structured data, non-structured data, and user event data.
Multi-scenario recommendation: Recommends products throughout the whole purchase process from browsing products on the home page, placing an order, to viewing the delivery status.
Customizable policies: Allows you to customize the search and recommendation policies by modifying relevant parameters.
Secure data and models: Ensures that the data and models generated for your app are isolated from those of other e-commerce apps and can be deleted anytime.
In summary, Search Kit provides e-commerce apps with end-to-end e-commerce solutions and cloud services, allowing you to quickly roll out your own e-commerce apps and create and configure resources in a matter of minutes.
