Power + Volume Up stopped working - Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 / S7 Plus Questions & Answer

For some reason power + volume up doesn't take me to recovery mode. I'm assuming this happened after the last system update.
Is there a way to bring it back?
Thanks.

Had the same Problem...
Try connecting the tab to your PC and try again. For me that did the trick.
Seems to be a bug in A11...

a little suggestion here:
try factory reset ur S3...
if the problem still persist try to reflash ur firmware using samsungkies
Maybe you try this one. Connect this to your phone and it will go into download mode automatically. If it does not work, then your phone may have bricked.

[Q] Galaxy S3 Stuck at boot logo

Hello all,
I was using my phone, checking emails and making phone calls just fine. Then I got home and went to the computer to do some work. I noticed that my phone was showing the Galaxy S3 logo. I though weird. So I removed the battery, put it back in but still the same thing. I though maybe it was broken so I though a factory reset would be a good idea. BUT, I can't go to Recovery. When I try to go to Download mode, it opens up the interface where it says "Volume up" to go to Download mode or "Volume Down" to reboot your phone. Even when I press the Volume Up button, the phone restarts. So basically, my phone has gone full retarded and I can't do anything, no Recovery or no Download mode.
Anyone knows anything?

Yes, It doesn't work. I even tried holding Vol Up + Home + Power buttons for 10 minutes hoping the phone would go to Recovery. It doesn't even want to go to Download. It shows the Download menu but when I click the Volume Up button, it simply reboots the phone. And it was working fine before it happened.

I thought it might not work but was worth a try...It sounds like either corrupt partitions or emmc chip corrupt/damage but all the solutions I know of need you to at least get into download mode and if adb is not working as well then the only thing I can suggest is service repair.
This is the situation I would hope not to find myself in maybe somebody else as some suggestions but sorry it's not looking good.

This honestly sucks. I have been using my Galaxy S3 for two years without any problems. It was my main device for everything. Maybe because I have used it for 2 years without rest for work has caused a chip failure.

Honor 7 doesn't go to Android anymore

Ok. I tried rooting Honor 7 earlier today. I did every step, but in the last step when I installed the SuperSU trough the TWRP, I noticed a big problem.
When I rebooted the phone, it just went into the chinese TWRP. Tried everything, only goes into TWRP. Any help?
My phone model is PLK-L01.
try follow this tutorial.

Nope. Volume up + power on only boots to TWRP
I tried downloading stock roms and instaling them trought TWRP, one rom was corrupted and another did not work, it still booted to TWRP. I found some other roms but they must be downloaded from mega.nz, which does not work on my computer

you should read carefully the link given to you previously and you should be able to solve it yourself.

Ok, this is what I did:
-Connect the phone to windows computer
-Go to TWRP, select reboot and system
-Try does the phone recognize the computer by using volume down + power. Worked.
-Try volume up + power on on boot (the phone goes black after a moment, vibrates and goes back to the white Honor text)
Does not work.
Omg guys thank you so much, it worked by pressing only the volume up button, thank you guys sooo much thank you i love you!!!

Bricked x829 by flashing - Can be restored?

Hi, guys
Flashed the unofficial Lineage 14.1 and by mistake SuperSUClassic for 6.0. Now it is bricked
No bootloader, just 2 buzzes after 10 sec when you pressing the power button.
Are there any means to restore the boot record?
Try to keep Vol Up and press Power button to go to recovery. Or if not, at least into Fastboot with Vol Down and Power. Once you are in TWRP, you know what to do.

definitely will try that
You cant brick a qualcomm device. Like said above, just put the CPU in qdloader mode. It will flash directly to the nand memory.
Started flashing , but accidentally USB cable got disconnected - now can't quit the QFL mode, probably bricked it finally, Still waiting for the battery to discharge

Have you kept the Power button pressed for about 1 minute to exit this mode?
If the above doesn't work, why don't you flash it again? Still your into the QFL mode.

Power button does not respond, device manager shows QFD device,
Flash says 7:31:24: {ERROR: OpenPort:4197 It took 10.01500000 seconds to open port. Which is longer than 3.000. This indicates your target is not stable

Question Can't boot into recovery mode on s22

Hello I want to factory reset my s22 plus because of battery draining fast
I've tried powering off then powering on holding the side key and volume up, letting go upon the samsung logo and knox coming up.
And also tried to plug the phone on PC via cable and do the method above.
Power off...press and hold power and volume up until you see Samsung logo then let go of both buttons
Or just go to settings the Generl Management...look for reset and do it from there

Yeah now you have to plug it into a pc before you can boot into recovery. once you do this you can also use adb reboot recovery if you have adb installed etc
