Is it possible to install CM12.1 Official surnia on an external SD-card and not on the internal-SD? So make the external SD-CARD the primary boot/system device....

I'd be surprised if they did. The most famous OS2SD rom is the one built for the LG Optimus S/V and they stopped at Android 4.4, must be something in Lollipop that changed the way SD cards were read, written and booted.

It's been a few years since I did this. My first device I rooted and did stuff on was a HTC Wildfire S. However Android has changed a lot since then.
With that, I was able to select how much to partition through the recovery and it would work.
Is that still possible with Lollipop (and using TWRP as I used CWM then)?

Hello. My Amlogic S805 is broken. I mean, Android is broken and I want to wipe this one.
I would like to install either Android 4.4 or Android 5. Even Android 6 or 7 is great but I don't know can I do it on this board.
It's 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM.
It's constantly crashing, not all apps but Google apps the most. And especially Google Play Services.
I need someone to help me where I can download Android, Amlogic software for installing OS, program for making bootable SD Card or whatever software is needed to make SD Card bootable.
Also I have to mention that this Amlogic have no Android Recovery Mode at all. Reset button is just resetting Android which just crash again after some time when I install/update apps thru time.
I guess I will also need TWRP but again, if Reset button just resets my device how then I can make TRWP appear in order to wipe this broken one and install new one while prepared SD Card is inserted?
I will atach photo as well. SD Card slot is on other side by the way.

I wanted to ask whether the system drive can be encrypted, because in my settings (Android 9 Stock ROM) there is only an option to encrypt the SD Card.
My bootloader has been unlocked with dc-unlocker.
Is it automatically encrypted as soon as you set a screen lock?

I know, not many traffic to this phone thread, so probably I won't get any solution, but I'll ask it anyway :
In note 8 I had an adapter to have 2nd sim card outside the phone. Inside the phone I had 1st sim card and microsd.. So I had working 2 sim, and microsd. After updating to android 9 I think , Samsung disabled this, but with a few hacks it was working in android 10 if you were rooted. I'm in android 11 in s10lite.. Is there a hack to enable this? If I go back to android 10, will it work if it doesn't work in 11?
