How to fix this error on virtualbox on chromebook? - Chromebooks

I am new to virtualbox, and I got it on chromebook, and wanted to run the latest windows 10 version on my chromebook. I set up a vm, and It gives me this error. How do I fix this? (I did all of this with the linux beta on chromebooks btw)

RemixOS standalone on tablet UEFI 32bit

Hello!
I have a tablet with UEFI 32bits (it's a Emdoor EM-i8080 with Intel® Atom™ Processor Z3735E) and I'm trying to install just RemixOS at the HDD, without Windows side by side.
The thing is, I tried many tutorials that I found here at XDA and nothing seems to work with my tablet. I understand that the process is the same as install the RemixOS in a VM, right?
I managed to format the HDD with GParted, install RemixOS with "INSTALL=1" but, after the install, it just doesn't boot. Then I tried another tutorial using a Linux USB Live, but the linux usb doesn't boot (tried with Ubuntu and Debian).
Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks! =D
Hi, I know this an old thread but if you have not fixed it yet then this might help. I got a similair tablet and got Linuxium 16.04 and 16.10 to boot on it, by using kernel parameter
nomodeset
then at least you can get to the desktop. I have only tried the 64bit and Gnome, Unity, Xubuntu, Kubuntu(don't use this one as it uses too much RAM).

Compiling an android kernel in Ubuntu 16.10

Hi. Can anyone tell me how to compile an android kernel in Ubuntu 16.10?
Upon compilation starting, there is a "make" error popping up about "Unrecognized option -EL", and the process is failing.
I've also tried the same in Ubuntu 16.04, and ended up with the same results.
For many days, I've stuck with Ubuntu 14.04 in Windows 10, a feature they introduced earlier in 2016, but I want a pure Linux environment badly and also, not that old 14.04.
So any clues?
I noticed the default gcc is 6.2 in 16.10 now(don't know if that's a problem though because I'm using a cross compiler)
Help please.

Hello, I am looking to install an OS on my HP Touchpad but I'm thinking of possibly Linux desktop OS. I have seen Ubuntu run on it but I would like to know if anyone has been able to get Arch Linux (Created within the past few years) to run and working properly? If Arch Linux is not an option I will take any Linux OS that will run on it.
