Hi
Is anyone facing no notification issue in op9r ?
For me message and telegram is not giving any notification. Got it recently have tried general debugging like clearing data for app resetting config for it etc just factory reset is left. Anyone aware how to fix it or what causing it?
Thanks
OxygenOS always had notification delay/non-arrival issues. This has been happening since like 6T times (my first OP phone), there is really no fix besides using a custom rom. I'd recommend posting about it on the official forum, MAYBE OP will fix it but...
Ps.: Make sure you disable ALL battery optimization for Telegram; and also check if Telegram has that "low power service" enabled in Settings. I also use a MacroDroid thing where I wake up screen every 30 real world minutes. This makes sure all notifications arrive/are delivered. Kinda sucks, but you can only buy Google or live with this. Even on ASUS you have issues. Custom roms are a solution, but good luck finding a phone that's well supported AND has no hardware flaws.
Thanks for replying, I know notification can be buggy due to deep sleep but that was not the case here even when my phone was active telegram and some other app was not sending any notification... not sure what cause but to fix it I had ho factory reset the device anything else didn't work.

- You can always try using "Plus", the alternative Telegram app.
- There is a command that can help, but you either need root or ADB, and you have to activate it after each reboot.
(This disables Doze.)
Code:
adb shell dumpsys deviceidle disable
su
dumpsys deviceidle disable
- The MacroDroid 30 minute wakes are a great thing I'd say. It's in the app if you look for macros by others, and its' called "KISS-30".

Hello all. Ive seen a bunch of the threads of people talking about issues with their device, but I've found a few weird bugs that I haven't seen anywhere else, so I wanted to see if anyone else has seen these/knows a solution.
Before I get started, I have a 32GB WiFi only N9. I installed that first firmware update that you get when you start the device, and nothing else. I have NOT rooted, installed a customer kernel, unlocked the bootloader, nothing. My current build number reads as LRX21L.
1) Heads Up Notifications. I don't get them. Period. This was a Lollipop feature I was really looking forward to, and no matter what app it is or what I'm doing, they don't give me a Heads Up popup. I don't think I did anything that would turn them off, it's just weirding me out that it's not happening. Is there a toggle somewhere that controls it?
2) Flashlight Toggle. I love that we finally have this, but the weirdest thing happened recently: it vanished. Like just totally up and vanished. I've only used it a few times in the week I've had the device, but I've never even touched the Cast Screen toggle and it's still there. Honestly, I used the flashlight toggle less than 24 hours before it vanished. How do I get it back?
I'm inclined to do a factory reset and see if it fixes these issues, but I wanted to check with you folks first. I also feel like I'm forgetting a third thing, if it comes to me I'll add it to this post.
Thanks in advance.
Sorry to hear about your problems. I'm also not receiving heads up notifications. I have notifications set to "always interrupt", but have never received a heads up notification.
I still have the flashlight quick toggle, though (located under "invert colors").
I'd flash the 21Q factory image. You'll have to unlock the bootloader and flash it manually. If you still have problems it could be a hardware issue.

I saw this and was wondering if it's related to your flashlight issue: http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/11/17/lollipop-bug-leaving-the-flashlight-on-until-it-times-out-breaks-the-camera-and-flashlight-until-you-reboot/
I have the Huawei Mate 20 Pro unlocked. However, one major bug that is annoying me so much to the point of potentially changing phone is when I get a notification that I received say for example an email, I swipe down to see the preview and then I have to press the Delete button several times - Im talking sometimes 6-7 times - for it to delete the email.
Anyone else got this issue and any ideas how to resolve it?
Cheers
Robert

It is, it's really got me debating the handset tbh
I don't have this issue with any app and first time I see a post about it so guessing most people are ok.
You might want to try the option to reset phone settings (doesn't wipe data or apps) to see if it fixes it?
Same issue. Happens with Gmail. Except I think the issue is more of a delay (for me atleast). After pressing delete, I have to wait several seconds (usually over 5 seconds) for the notification to disappear).

Dont know about the other guys, but tried this, plus it was happening on my first LG screen mate 20 pro and then on 2 replacements afterwards so dont think its the phone, personally I think its a bug in the OS but doesnt appear to be widespread.

A1811 is not US version it's international version, included US market. No i did not noticed any sounds problem. But if say honest most time i using only vibrate notifications without any sounds Sounds is in smartphone
several people in the forum came across the same problem. is it a condition that I need to send to the warranty? Is it solved by software update? I also sent a notification from the feedback section of amazfit watch.

As i mentioned usually i using notifications without sound, only vibration is activated. When i did factory reset notifications sounds fine to me. But that was once, maybe two time when i used notifications with sound at all after these updates. So i can't confirm it's issues/bugs or not. But one advise which i got from Amazfit support when i asked about battery life which after update is shorter, they advised me to first do factory reset. So i can advise you the same. If problem will be the same you can try to chat before you will bring watch to seller or authorized service to Amazfit support and when after you will talk with support do what they will advise you or bring to service or seller. Factory reset if say honest most time fixing small problems in many devices (if there is no biggest violations): smartphones, smart watches and ect. Without detail review hard to say it's software problem or soundspeaker I have problem with wifi in my smartphone, when is turned on bluetooth wifi dropping, usually internet wokring fine in others device, dropping is not often, but when i turning off bluetooth works fine. Manufactor supporting gave me some advices which did not helped to me, need to test in others device or with others wifi connections, but i can't to do right now that. So it's conflict between wifi and bluetooth or just others reason it's hard to say. The same is with yours situation, about problem can confirm some costumers.users, but for others can work fine. So i posted my advises, i think the best right now is just to talk with Amazfit support before you return it to seller or bring it to authorized service or do factory reset, which by the way i recommend to do before connect with Amazfit support, cos i'm sure they will ask about that
thanks for the reply. i will try the factory reset. i hope it will fix it. thank you.. :good:
i did factory reset to watch and sent test notifications from amazfit watch app. nope. still continues same problem.. after all i set warning tone volume silent and only vibration. i hope it will be fixed with a firmware update.

This is support with chat option - https://support.amazfit.com/hc/en-us (if you can't see help/chat option, then scroll down with mouse and you will see chat window in left side of computer/smartphone), check from time to time are they online, coz they often are diconnected from chat. I can chat with they only when is evening in my country. I guest they are in US and connecting only in day time, maybe after lunch time
This is support via mail - https://en.amazfit.com/support.html, you can write from mail anytime, they will answer to you soon when they will can, probably
There is nothing to thank, I trying to help as much as I can. Sad that factory reset did not helped, try to chat with support (live or via mail, you probably just sent feedback from app, in feedback they don't react, i mean they will not answer to you)
I saw a post in Reddit from a Huami global support person in the Amazfit subreddit and i have mentioned to him about the sound problem as well as other things. He say it is a known problem and it is worked on. So hopefully with the next firmware we will get a fix for that.

Yep, and i wrote that here somewhere and on FB and other places. Its being worked on.
A problem with the sound is two months to me. The manufacturer is made to "cuckoo" - refuses to recognize the problem. A problem with sound exists in all - Europe, Russia, America.
I tried everything, settings, restart, unlock, new installation, Chinese version, factory settings - did not fix a problem.
There is an update rolling out at the moment that says it is fixing the problem. It is 3.2.3.0 if i remember correctly. Just have some patience. Should be here any time now.

Hi,
I have looked on internet regarding the issues on motorola razr ( 2019 ) with peek display but i couldn't find anything helpfull. The thing is that the peek display when the phone is closed is working sometimes and I can see that the screen is on when I closed the phone and try to turn on external display. I have tried to clear the cache of the display app but it didn't helped much to be honest. The phone is brand new from official website so there is not option to have a faulty phone as like I said the screen (display app ) sometimes works sometimes doesn't. I have even tried to uninstall the app update and reinstall it but still doesn't work as it should. I do not want to factory reset the phone becasue my e-sim will be removed from phone and I will have to call my carrier to send me the code again.
Whoever has a phone could you please let me know if you experienced the issue as me ? If yes and you have fixed that please tell me how as this is let's say annoying for foldable phone when extra display just not working and I fell like to stick with my old phone
I have latest Android 10 update on the phone as well.
Thanks
Snip3r
My peek display is working fine. There don't seem to be many ppl with this phone so not a very active forum.

You lucky cuz for me it's working sometimes and it's annoying to check notification or whatever I have to open the phone and unlock it.. Like i said i tried reinstall app install update ect but it didn't helped much. I could restart it but I will loose by esim from phone and it will take time again to get the new one.
Anyone else experiencing this? Less than 10 seconds after I fingerprint unlock, sometimes the screen will go black while I'm reading a message or whatever. Other times it seems to be triggered by a touch action, like pressing on an icon or clearing a notification.
I found no setting that explains it. Screen timeout is set to 1 minute. I don't have any third party lockscreen or display related apps. It's been happening for as long as I can remember with this phone, and I thought the January update might fix it but it persisted through. Faulty proximity sensor maybe? I'm starting to contemplate warranty servicing.

I think it's A12. On the P5 you could look at the device and it would stay on when doing something. The feature, although there is a setting on/off, does not work any longer. I never had it on the P6 shipped with A12 but on the P5 my wife has the same problems since updating. So perhaps a proximity update will fix it but if all else is working the replacement will almost guaranteed be worse.

Are you using a custom kernel or have had a custom kernel installed in the past?
If so, you will need to try a factory reset and complete full stock image.

I saw that setting but I don't see how it's relevant. Even without that setting, the display should not turn off on its own before 1 minute of inactivity.

No. I didn't do any modding beyond bootloader unlock and root with Magisk. I flashed the January factory image a few days ago and rerooted, but as I said the problem started long before that.

I didn't realize you were rooted, I usually don't read signatures. Have you unrooted and tested? Other than that I'm not rooted so perhaps someone can help you out. Maybe change the title of the thread so rooted folks will jump in with suggestions. Good luck.
Looks like the issue might have come from the launcher I use, Smart Launcher. Specifically a setting called "Smart Screen Off" that's not working as intended. I turned that off and so far I can't reproduce the issue.
