I've tried a couple different touchpro2 cases and they do not fit my tilt2. I only want a hard rubberized case, no hard plastic or silicon gel ones.
Anyone know of a case that actually properly fits the tilt2?
I wish they made an
otter box type for the Tilt 2 but with the sliding keyboard/screen that is not an option.

I bought one on ebay, and it doesn't fit right. Have you had any luck since you've posted?

The different versions of the Rhodium have slightly different dimensions, slight enough that a case that fits one version perfectly does not fit another...so I started a tilt2 specific thread.

Not yet, was hoping for more feedback before I buy one. My tilt2 is all scratched up already anyways, HTC really cut corners on the case compared to the original tilt.

I was also considering this one: onlytouchpro2 dot com It doesn't specify tilt2 so this was a last resort one.

seems to work pretty good. The top cover dosen't snap on as tight as the bottom one but it's not falling off. I can put this in my old HTC Excalibur leather pouch if I remove the knob for the clip. It fits tight but it does fit. You can still get to the top row on the keyboard when the screen is tilted with this cover on.

Link and pics do not match.
I find the smart cover case of my iPad 2 is ideal for typing in "landscape keyboard" mode. I haven't found any cases on eBay etc that do this except some really bulky/fugly ones. Has anyone found anything elegant/thin along the lines of the iPad 2 smart cover yet? I realize the GT7.7 doesn't have the logic to turn off when the cover is closed, I can live without that!
The original Samsung OEM case/cover looks very nice but doesn't seem to stand on its own in landscape keyboard mode

As long as the surface is not overly smooth, the Samsung Original Book Cover case does stand in landscape (thanks to rubber strips that adds friction). See pics. May not *look* especially stable, but it does seem to hold out nicely.
Ironically, I would like to see a case that allows my tab to stand in portrait mode, since I'm more likely to read that way. Never seen one before.

Its faux leather on the outside and suede cloth inside. It has the same standing mechanism as the iPad1 case too. Comes in a few colours, I got the brown one.
I've been looking for exactly this type of case and was amazed they are made. I believe I can post images now and so I'll put some up later.

Thats the one. I personally prefer cases that give all round protection and this case does that. I find cases that only grip the corners can come loose over time, and badly made ones have terrible tolerances and may not even adequetly hold the device.

I also think that a case like the smart cover for the ipad2 is ideal for the tab 7.7. I have seen those for the 10.1 and 8.9 on ebay, and I am pretty sure they will pop up for the 7.7 soon.

Very pleased with it! I've tried the official case but this is much better. It even has magnets on the flap to stop it flapping open when carrying.

That's basically exactly the same as the one I posted above except my link is cheaper and located in the UK (minus the screen protector but they are pence anyway)
The one I ordered also has better protection at the bottom

I snagged this one as it closely resembles the one I really like for my GTab 7+. Will post up pictures when I get it.
I bought this phone a few days back and I felt a need to buy a case for this. There weren't any available in shops, so I bought one from eBay.

There were just 5 available, and I bought the last one, so you won't be able to buy it from here at least. I've still kept the link if anyone wants to see it. I got the case in 2 days. I think you'll be able to find something similar at a nearby shop though. If the case is available again, I'll update this post with the new link.
Now, to the pros and cons.
Pros:
Flip cover - Protects phone screen
Hard plastic back cover - Protects back and corners of the phone
No cutouts - Sometimes they can be annoying.
Cons:
Not by LG - Its by some 3rd party company.
No engraved 'Optimus L9' as shown in the photo.
Overall, I really like the case and I feel its worth buying. It was a little expensive, but its not at all a bad choice, since I feel this phone is kinda delicate.

found a few on ebay. any idea of the quality. can't find a decent one in my city.

First one looks pretty good. The second one won't look so good on either colour of the phone. 3rd is alright, but I like the first one better.
I am using the one that came along with the mobile, strangely enough I got a black flip case for a white mobile.. I am not sure if it is the case with everyone or just a mistake on LG's or even HomeShop18's part.
I am not a great fan of Flip cases, but I drop my mobile a lot! so keeping it to safe guard the mobile and specially the screen as it is not GG. Used to have an amzer shellster on my Atrix 2, which I loved. Amzer doesnt have a shellster for L9..
I got a white one..and i wish i couldve got a black one..my white one looks like dirt in just one month

Hmm I don't believe so, you can get Nilkiin flip cases but they don't have the cut out like the Samsung ones.

There's no "official" flip case, you'll have to buy some third party ones.
Does any one have one of these? I have bought one that is a copy, I just wondered if a genuine one did anything with the screen?
The genuine one is five times the price, is it worth the extra money?
It offers good side protection, you could take pictures without opening the flip, answer the phone,change music tracks etc. It's useful
I'm not fond of flip case but the S view seems good.
I had the occasion to try the S5 version and it was great. But you loose the look of the Alpha like other flip cover or case.
I saw a lot of copy 3 times cheaper than the original and they seem good.
Maybe someone has one, it can be great to have some feedback.

I just got a new bumper and glass screen protector. I'm almost 100% protected....as long as I don't drop the phone in water.

Got a black version from Ebay yesterday and I LOVE IT. ..........100% genuine
I'm currently undergoing the issue of having the back peel off my nexus 6 and I've only had it for a week so I don't have another $600.00 for them to place a hold on my account for a replacement. On google+ a guy sent me a link and said these might be wood replacement backs. He said somebody posted a pic of it and said they are actual replacement backs not just skins. If they are backs I plan on buying one now

These are simply skins that stick over the back, not replacement back panels. If you need a new back panel, they're on ebay with adhesive skin to apply them similar to stock. Goodluck.
Yes you can buy new white and blue back panels from ebay. They are perfect replacements.

Just to add to this, yes they are an adhesive skin, but they are real wood, and not a thin flimsy decal. If you read the original @slickwraps thread, people have removed the plastic nexus backing, and put the Naturals bamboo skin as a replacement, and it was a perfect fit, but it wasnt meant to be a replacement and not marketed as such. (The Naturals line, both leather and wood, are much thicker than flimsy plastic decals since they are real leather and wood)
I myself own a few of the Slickwraps Naturals products, and I have to say I am impressed with the quality.
I have the dark brown leather as my back and I removed the stock back. It fits 100% perfect and I love it! I also bought a spare OEM back in case I need it. The bamboo might need some sanding to fit flush I haven't tried it with mine yet but if and when I do I'll post some pictures.

Do you have a photo of that? since if you are not using your original back plate the nexus and M letters will look strange?

OK no problem and yes I bought the spare OEM back on eBay from a seller in NJ. The leather is on my phone so I'll take some pictures for you. I just applied some conditioner so it's wet but I have a older picture of when I first installed it that I'll post right now below for you. I'll add new pictures once the constraints l conditioner is done drying. I"aged" the leather because it looks better with some wear on it.

i also bought an extra back from ebay. received it yesterday but the curved part of the letter "u" was not in place. it had come off. i put it back in place no problem but it leads me to think they will come off easy. another thing i noticed is that the ebay one, the "nexus" letters are chrome and the ones that actually come on the phone are silver.
good thing i got the ebay one to play with it. i'm going to end up painting it or something. haven't decided what yet.

The one I bought is fine and identical to my OEM one that I took off my phone. I can post a side by side if you would like. It could be a different supplier for the back or something because most people have had good experiences with the ones from eBay. I'm not saying there aren't bad ones out there but I received a good one.

Hopefully it will still fit fine for you. I bought one as a backup because I'm using the SW Horween Leather as my phone back right now.
