Hi,
first things first: this thread has nothing to download. It just offers an overview about different debloat scripts I found for the S21 and S20 to get rid of unwanted system apps. I compared their uninstall list with the original app list of the S21 which I found in another thread. So the purpose of this thread is to give everybody a little help to find the best fitting debloat script or make your own debloat configuration.
The original S21 app list can be found here (Thanks to @xdafly --> found here)
I compared it with
[ROOT, NON-ROOT] [Android 10, 11] Debloat Script - v1.0 from @serajr
[Debload][Bloatware] S21 | S21+ | S21Ultra or any flagship Samsung /Huawei /OnePlus phones from @AllAboutTech
[SCRIPT] JBNCK-NONROOT Debloat script for Samsung devices from @JanBoyGamer23
Debloat Samsung Android from khlam who gives credit to @Ijaz Farooq
You should mention the specific warnings of the scripts, p.e. khlams config is the most aggressive and you won't be able to use Island or Shelter anymore.
Serajr gives warnings about some google apps. If you delete one of those then Google Play Services may crash.
JanBoyGamer23s script has a very clever trick: it uninstalls youtube but installs the better Vanced! Very cool
Alright here we go!

You should mention the specific warnings of the scripts, p.e. khlams config is the most aggressive and you won't be able to use Island or Shelter anymore.

Could you tell which apps are crucial for Island or Shelter ?
Nice, thank you!
Sorry for disturbing here ... one of these commands "killed" my aod. After locking the screen it shows up for a few seconds and then disappears. In case of a new notification it comes up, shows up a few seconds and disappears again. Everything in the settings is okay, I checked it and changed nothing. Could somebody please tell me which of the above listed commands has such an effect? Thanks a lot!

If aod means always on display then try reinstalling

Yes, it means always on display. Thanks for your hint, I'll try it when I'm back on my computer.
@StabiloRider - I just wan ted to say many thanks for this. I don't think everyone here fully appreciates the amount of effort you put into this. Very nicely and clearly documented, and very useful! I know folks who stopped buying Samsung phones because of bloatware, being unaware you can debloat them fairly easily. Knowing what each script debloats is very useful and allows to more easily create a personalized debloat script.

not a script, but a system app dump with descriptions (where I can find any) including what I'm testing (yellow is disabled)... spreadsheet
one thing I'm still trying to figure out, double-tapping the power button to bring up the camera stopped working and not sure why. even re-enabled all apps and it was still broken, setting the "side key" to Bixby or any other app didn't work, only action that worked is/was reboot menu.

honeyboard, not sure why disabling the kbd kills power button double-tap but re-enabling fixed it for me. should be noted on the spreadsheet.

and found that Sony has certified a new update for Xperia P a day ago. the thing is there are two previously certified updates that are not yet released, can someone please tell me how the update strategy works with Sony
Different update builds are for different regions. Sometimes they also need to re-certify something because they left in a bug or for whatever other reason. Not all updates that are certified are released ever, and getting a PTCRB certification is only one part of the release process.

Thanks, this gives me a clue on what is going on. When they certify any update with the code: 6.1.x.x.x.x it means it's an ICS update?! and once the code is changed to: 6.2.x.x.x.x it will mean it's a new version of Android?! And the letters in the code refers to different Xperia Devices

Simple question. When the boot loader is released can I run Android 4.4 as my main and have the Amazon Mojito OS as a Rom. I ask because I was'n't sure if two different versions of android could run on the same device. I say this because you cannot run two versions of Mojito with safestrap.
My issue is I bought GTA SA from the Amazon app store and it only works with that stock OS. And regardless of the ability to install the kindle app on your android device that version sucks. I have to manually search through all my highlights to find my bookmarks. IDK Amazon has not added full functionality to the app.

It is unlocked. They have not released it yet.
I have ATM a hardbricked KFHDX 7" and cannot do anything about,
However, there are many things that make me believe that it is very hard right now, jcase isn't releasing anything (not what he said in the first place, but now might have changed his mind due to legal restrictions) - plus Hashcode is retiring from XDA since he is working on project Ara or smth similar. Lets just hope for the best and play the waiting game ...

Same here. New s9 plus just bought yesterday. I just checked no updates available. Wonder if they pulled it.
Hopefully the removal of the update has something to do with the v2 bootloader. When you update to ARC6, you can't go backwards from that point, or at least currently. The v1 bootloader in ARBG is a lot more flashing friendly.

Unfortunately, this doesn't matter in my case as I have the Snapdragon variant. Jailbreaking Apple devices is easier than dealing with Samsung's BS these days; however, I couldn't give up the ability to expand storage with an SD card.
I've been hearing a lot of people complaining about dropped calls on the ARC6 update. I never experienced it myself while on ARC6 but I'm on ARDA now.

Mine is a SnapDragon model also. Although based on older information and models. I am hoping we get a V3 bootloader for those who are stuck on v3 that can be upgrade and then downgraded. The Note 8 bootloader is possible to flash backwards for some reason. Because we are on the 845 though, it will probably take a little time for someone to figure out who to get it to successfully flash backward. The call dropping issue on some firmware versions also is a problem that doesn't exist on other firmware variants. I had the call dropping on 1ARC6 but not on 1ARBG. That might have slipped into the firmware with the v2 bootloader. Whatever the reason, the Samsung community has a lot of development and cross-flashing activity that will hopefully get this figured out soon.
I came from a V30, which is much more of a mess to even attempt to flash anything other than what the current firmware is could potentially leave you hard bricked. Outside of Nexus and Pixel devices, I find Samsung in its current state more cross-flashing and mod friendly than some other manufactures. I have never used an Apple device to know how easy or difficult they are to jailbreak or what that means in comparison to what we do with modded, bootloader unlocked, and cross-flashing devices on the Android side. The locked down Apple ecosystem will always keep me away from their platform.

Yes, starting with the 2018 models, or maybe only with the Z3 since it's the most expensive ones. Or do you really believe that our one year old phone will get updates that quick? They are not Pixels and knowing the update strategy of Lenovo for the past couple of years and without treble we can be lucky if we even get it this year. or have you forgotten the Oreo update? And it wasn't even to 8.1, just 8.0
I am still on 7.1.1 Nougut. According to support, I am on the latest update. But on 08/31 they claimed they are behind, but it is coming soon.
Shouldn't the all be the same regardless of software channel, build number, SKU, Version, etc.? They are all Moto Z2 Play. Mine is even unlocked so I would think that would be a benefit.
Here are the specs from the "about phone":
- Moto Z2 Play - UNLOCKED version (carrier independent)
- Software Channel = "retla"
- Build Number = NPSS26.118-19-1-16
- SKU = XT1710-06
- Version = PVT1
- Baseband version = M8953P_23.33.07.34.01RALBUS_LATAMDSDS_CUST
- Security patch = February 1, 2018
- Android 7.1.1. (Nougut)

I had the update like in mid July, but it didn't take. It got all messed up and went back to 7.1.1
So I installed Oreo on the side and put Custom Rom on top of it.

Same here. I have no idea why my phone won't update. I have it unlocked and rooted with Magisk, but won't it still detect the update and try to download it? I just need to unroot first and flash it and it should be just fine I thought. But nope, still on 7.1.1 with the February 2018 security patch. I'm on software channel retus. Right now I'm not really too concerned with getting a new version of Android on this phone since everything is stable but I'd like to know why my phone never got the 8.0/8.1 update.

It depends on carrier. Although, if you ask them, carrier will say it depends on Moto; but truth is, it isn't. As far as I know, AT&T Latin America released (or it was Moto?) 8.0 Oreo in August, which has been already updated up to September, 2018. Next should be 9, but... Yes, 8.0 was released same time as 9 for Pixels, a full year after Z2 device landed. So, statistically, 9's OTA should be inside AT&T's Z2 devices, late in 2019. That would be another year, probably along with 10's appearance! but... Maybe not. Who knows what's in their heads. Point seems to be keeping OTA fans (don't count me in) eager as hell.

Mi A1 received Android 9 pie update and now it supports dual 4G + volte. Really shocked to see Snapdragon 625 supporting dual 4G and that too enabled with an update. And Moto doesn't even update their os to 64 bit.

For this device to be updated to 64bit, it would require formatting, users would lose all their stored data. How well do you think that would go over with the general public?

That is a fair point. Although it's fairly easy to backup data on a phone with SD card, not everyone will like it. I had Asus zenfone 3 which came with 64bit OS despite 3GB of RAM and camera 2 API was enabled so the Gcam and hdr+ worked without root. Thought Z2 play with 4GB RAM, better camera sensor and stock Android will be even better. I was wrong.

OneUI Update from Samsung Representative about OneUI Beta Sign-up
So I recently got in touch with a Samsung Representative a few hours ago as the Samsung Members App, the app that controls Beta Feedback, Forums, and Notices on the Android Pie Release (OFFICIAL not the Leaked Build) due to me getting an error saying that either my Samsung Account or my own device are not registered for the OneUI Beta. The rep during the call informed me that, according to a Samsung Account Representative, the Beta Signup is technically closed as of now. Yes, you can still keep running Samsung's OneUI as is but you cannot register into the Samsung Members App or Open Beta Items unless you managed to update early or have an unlocked device. I'm still unsure about updates that Samsung will send out due to this but I think Updates should be released as normal still for Android Pie. So far my device, a T-Mobile Galaxy Note 8 is what is getting the error and other devices **may** get this error.
I noticed this small bug after flashing the N950U to N950U1 Unlocked and then Flashing the Android Pie Update via Recovery Mode and once I finished the installation. Samsung+ will just crash on OneUI even after reinstalling via Google Play and Galaxy Apps and Samsung Members as already mentioned will work, but you won't get access to the beta feedback, beta forums, or notices from Samsung.
This isn't a news report that should steer you away from trying OneUI. You can still give it a shot by following the guide by Mr. Orange by flashing Pie via Recovery Mode for now as Samsung+ will no longer work for Android Pie Beta Updates, but you will be sort of limited by what you can give back to Samsung due to their Open Beta now being a Closed Beta. If you are still unsure about updating to OneUI, then don't risk it. Even though 99.99% of Flashing always end perfectly right with OneUI, there may be that chance that it can go wrong but very slim. ALWAYS make sure you backup your data before flashing. You can do so in Settings -> Cloud & Accounts -> Backup and Restore -> Back up data, and it will be backed up to Samsung Cloud or do the manual copy everything to your PC and transfer to your phone afterward method.
