Hello I got a similar tablet with the same name Mediatek TAB910. however mt6592
I succeeded to root it with kingoroot. then changed kigoroot superuser with su superuser.
I was trying to upgrade android version (cause it was a fake android 12: it was just lollipop 5.1).
When I tried to install TWRP, I think I brick the tab
Now it's not recognized on my laptop, with a boot loop (I guess, since i only hear it popping up and down when linked through usb) Mediatek usb Port (COM XX). Dark screen.
tried several solutions to the resurruction, but none yet working.
Any help would be appreciated, even suggesting to get rid of it.

Update : my android tablet is stuck on android text booting

Update : it works i flashed files found on the net (userdata and cache). Then wiped e-mmc by holding power and volume down (chinese menu).
However am back to lollipop 5.1.
Gonna try to find a solution after taking a break

I'll look at all the numbers on mine and attach a pic later in if every thing corresponds with your maby you can leave some detail on the process you used to gain perm root cause I've tried everything with nobsuccess

I know on these media Tek you need to use spflash tool to create a scatter file before making a custom recovery have you looked into that? I'm not really familiar with the process on a media Tek I've looked onlin e and read a few diff arrivals but Tobe honest I was all but stumpped

I followed the steps on the vid
How to Root every MTK China Phone - Readback With SP-Flash("
")
I downloaded 3 versions of sp-flash so it worked.
However couldn't get the file (loader.bin) I did it a week after with a russian tool.
And I couldn't root via twrp since i don't have it. I rooted via kingoroot. (i needed to launch the app 3 times before it works).
Now am back to lolipop. If i try to unlock the bootloader, i am stuck in bootloop, and I need to restore a loked bootloader I guess no way to upgrade. Any ideas how to get android 10?

I have tried:
- SuperOneClick 2.3.1 - Hangs after failing GingerBreak ("Hellions with BLUE flames!). Suggestion in another thread to turn USB Debugging on and off when SuperOneClick hangs did not work.
- The application from UnlockRoot.com - Fails to get shell root
- TPSparkyRoot's batch file - apparently this works with MT6575 ICS ROMs.
- Bin4ry v12 and v15 - again, this is more for ICS/JB based phones
- MTK Droid Root & Tools v2.2.8 - fails to gain root
I have also tried SP Flash Tool (versions v3.1206.01, v3.1208.01, v3.1216.05) to dump the BOOTIMG but no luck. I am getting this error: "BROM ERROR: S_BROM_CMD_STARTCMD_FAIL (2005)
[BROM] Can not pass bootrom start command via USB cable!"
Any ideas on how to root this phone? The phone has very small internal memory - rooting it would enable more efficient space and app management.
I have included the scatter file used by SP Flash Tool for your reference.
Thanks!
Update:
SP Flash Tool was detecting the MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM Port as COM35. I followed lolo250612's instructions here to install the MediaTek DA USB VCOM Port. It was initially placed as COM37 but SP Flash Tool was detecting the COM35 port. I changed the port of MediaTek DA USB VCOM Port to COM1 but it still detects the COM35 port.
Also tried to press VOL UP, VOL DOWN or both before inserting USB but to no avail.
Different phone, same problem
Hi, I share your problem. I also have a MediaTeK MT6575 phone with android gingerbread 2.3.6. I have also tried to gain root acces using the methods you described, but no luck.
I have the best hope, to flash a CWM, using the tutorial described in this thread. But the SP flash tool won't let me flash anything in the recovery. See my thread here.
Let me know if you get any further.
SAME ISSUE HERE.
Guess I'll have to watch this space for updates =___=
i 've dump system(zip), put supersu,su and busybox into proper place, but now stuck here: how to convert zip>.img so can i use to flash with flashtool?

custom rom noob help needed NUU Z8

Hello I'm new to this forum and I'd like to ask some questions.
I have one of the most unknown phone on the market I guess, it's a Nuu Z8.
I believe there isn't a single thread about the Nuu Z8. Anyway to my point I was looking for a custom ROM (like CyanogenMod) but of course it doesn't support my phone.
Then I started to ask myself and now you guys, could it be that I can use a CyanogenMod ROM that isn't meant to be for my phone but possibly could work because it is made for the same architecture and stuff? (I found a few ROMS made for my architecture)
further specs:
cpu:
- MediaTek MT6752
- ARM Cortex-A53
- 64bit
- ARMv8-A
- 1700MHz
- 8 cores
GPU:
- ARM Mali-T760 MP2
- 2 cores
- 700MHz
RAM:
- 2GB of LPDDR3 800MHz single channel RAM
storage:
-32GB
DUAL sim and sd card
5.5" screen with 1080x1920 pixels
if more specs are needed you have to google:" NUU Moblie Z8 - Specifications devicespecifications . com
Edit: There also isn't a cwm or twrp custom recovery menu made for my phone but I can flash ROMS and ZIP/OTA files using flashfire.
I believe this also means that when I brick my phone I can't install the default ROM because I don't have an custom recovery menu.
Edit2: I believe I was directed from the XDA assist to this Q&A page do correct me if I'm (again) on the wrong side of the forum

I don't have my nuu z8 anymore because i broke it repaired it but i couldn't call anymore anyway you have a boot loop (you probably figured that out) and what you should do is download sp flashtool and a stock rom from needrom.com and look up a tutorial on how to use spflashtools.

I am having a few issues, and I was hoping to get some help from the XDA Community. 1) I cannot find the stock firmware for this phone anywhere. Huge problem because I can't root without it. 2) I can't find any support for rooting this phone. I mean not even Kingroot has a solution! I have searched methods for rooting from the OS (Marshmallow), the chipset (MT6580), and the phone itself (nothing available at all). So, any help with locating the firmware, and a means to root this phone would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Nah Doesn't work. I tried those recoveries...
I tried to flash the recoveries recommended for phones with similar resolution. That didn't work at all. I tried everything from Framaroot to King Root to Android Kitchen. Nothing! I have the stock rom now, and tool to rewrite the MAC, S/N, and IMEI. That's as far as I've gotten.

May I do install with:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
after install SuperSU with TWRP?
Thanks!

Yes exactly. Of course you need to take care of: USB Debugging on, Developer options -> OEM unlock. (turn it on).
Then on adb shell fastboot oem unlock, keep an eye on display, cel. will ask you to confirm, after that flash image and boot into TWRP.
Mine got in a bootloop, but I think I made something wrong, might or might not happen to you.... after some reboots and playing with vol up down buttons when booting I managed to get into TWRP, did a format of the data partition, installed supersu and rebooted. All well and rooted.
Dosen't WORD!

Try to install TWRP Manager, available in play store . In TWRP Manager try to Reboot > Reboot to Recovery. On my device I can only boot into recovery by adb shell or that Manager. By Vol and Power Keys no way, don´t know why. Give that a try. I will receive in a week or so another device, will unroot that also and pay more attention to the steps necessary, and then write a detailed how to.
Your way worked like a charm!

Thank you. I found the TWRP and SuperSu doing a quick Google search. I ended up flashing TWRP using an MTK file from v.11, and the TWRP image you told me to download. I used SP Flash Tool v5.1620. I placed the SuperSu on my external SD card. After flashing TWRP I booted right into recovery and installed SuperSU. If you do a factory reset it will remove root. After all that, I am officially rooted, and verified by Root Checker!
As a side note I found a nice way to boot into TWRP, and I want to post it here. If you have a twrp recovery image open up ADB. Type ADB --> Devices to confirm connecivity. Next boot to the bootloader. Once there type in: fastboot boot "imagename.img" (without quotes). This will take you into recovery but you will have problems with /data being inaccessible.
So next question...are there any custom ROMs for this yet?

Those instructions direct you to a TWRP download page that doesn't show any versions for the BLU phones, or for the Walton Primo N2.
I have a BLU Studio Selfie 2, and compared the hardware and software specs to the Primo N2. They appear to have the same CPU, GPU, and chipset. Memory sizes are the same as well. My phone is running Android 6.0 (even though most online specs show it as 5.1), which is the same version the Primo N2 shows. Given all of this, can I (relatively) safely assume the method you describe below will work for me?

rooted mine with twrp recovery.img flash sp-tools use same scatter after full backup just swap the stock recovery with the twrp one and flash but only tick recovery after do supersu.zip and rooted ok use this guide: http_s://neopodapsi.c_om/how-to-root-blu-grand-5-5-hd/
Hello, where can I find the firmware for the device BLU GRAND X (G090)
Thanks for attention)

Is there a custom rom out there for the BLU GRAND 5.5HD? The stock ROM seems to be failing to use external SD for data migration once its full... So a custom ROM would do...

Help with "Ployer momo11 III" Allwinner A31s - Bricked

About a year back I bought this tablet second-hand, No box, no cords, no manual, nothing.
All I have to go on is what is written on the backcase and inside the actual tablet.
The thing is that this specific model seem to be spoken of very lightly on the internet and there's been alot of missinformation regarding the actual model name, the CPU and the kernel...
Long story short, I misstook my tablet for the "momo11 Bird" and downloaded CM10 from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1821398
I flashed it, and as you can figure out, seeing I misstakenly downloaded a ROM for Rockchip when in reality I'm on a Allwinner A31s, I accidently bricked my device.
The key combination for recovery or fastboot does no longer work, and as I turn the tablet on it just shows the "ployer" logo and stays there.
It doesn't even reboot itself, it just shows the logo until the battery is dead.
After digging on the internet for what feels like forever, I now am almost entirely certain that I have successfully found the ACTUAL model in my possession.
Most important specs:
Product Type Tablet PC
Brand Ployer
Model MOMO11-III
Color Silver back cover
Shell Material Aluminum alloy
Operating System Stock Android 4.2 (Currently CM10 for momo11 Bird)
CPU Allwinner A31S Cortex-A7 quad-core 1.2GHz
GPU PowerVR SGX544 MP2
RAM 1GB DDR3
ROM (Nand Flash) 8GB
Now, in a desperate attempt to restore my tablet, I'm trying to locate either a stock firmware or a custom one, I don't really care aslong as it works.
The problem is that like previously mentioned, there's not alot of information regarding the "ployer momo11 iii"(momo11-3), and I have also not yet managed to find a ROM for it.
Another issue that I'm also faced with is that I can't seem to get my hands on any USB drivers for the tablet.
Is there anyone here who's got any experience with this tablet, or could help find the proper firmware, respectively the proper USB driver?
Someone please help as this is making me really sad....

BLU Vivo ONE (MT6739) - Unlocked Bootloader, No TWRP, No CFW, Any Ideas?

I bought a BLU Vivo ONE from Best Buy the other day and was able to purge most of the adware through the typical adb shell methodology to disable it for the currently running user without physically removing it from the device. However, it still has some really nasty hangups, like secretly blocking Netflix from accessing the remote server in an attempt to push the Amazon Prime Video app that it shipped with. Do we have any idea what this phone is a knock off of? I'd like to get my hands on an original pristine firmware from a non-advertisement subsidized version of this phone and flash that with SP Flash Tool. I did find the scatter file for the BLU Vivo ONE Plus which is also an MT6739 with a slightly bigger screen, etc. and was able to take a backup using SP Flash Tool. I would like to get TWRP or something on there so that I can flash Magisk as a starting point, but ultimately a non-ad subsidized firmware would be ideal. I haven't had an android phone since the original Droid Incredible, so this is all new to me again. Also, the phone is running Nougat 7.1.1.
Alright, Netflix is working fine now for some reason, but it's still not rooted yet. Any ideas on how to root this phone? Does the community avoid the MT6739 for some reason?

About TWRP question:
1- is need anyone with experience (or courage to do) to flash stock files with SPFT.
I saw that you were able to do a backup with SPFT. Then you will be able to flash the test file.
2- is need know if need unlock bootloader or not.
The first moment NO UNLOCK! If the file test not boot so is need Unlock to know if work file test.
3- I not need phone in my hands. But is very easy and fast solving issues when have its.
Because is more easy to repair phone if anything wrong happens. So the risk and responsability is of the user!!

I cannot find the Vivo One Plus stock ROM. So you need make the backup directly from your phone!!
If you know so.... But if you not know, ask illuminarok to do.
After that we make something for your phone. Remember, before anything, we need know if the kernel is same or not!
That's more security!!
I also have a "One Plus", which is apparently a BestBuy exclusive. It seems to be pretty much identical to the "One" but with larger screen and battery. I may have the courage to do some experimentation if properly guided. I sure would like to root this bad boy!

Instructions for install TWRP
Update 18-10-13
TWRP for BLU Vivo ONE - V0270WW (MT6739) was done!
Requirements: Stock ROM V7.1.1.04.04
WARNING:
Code:
Before install TWRP, copy with application backup&restore all
contacts, msgs, calls, all that you want, etc.... to your PC
and after you can restore that with same application.
After install TWRP is need copy SuperSu or Magisk to
your Internal Storage or MicroSDCard. So after that
you can install SuperSu or Magisk to start ROM.
You need unlock bootloader by adb-fastboot. Follow this intructions => SIMILAR BOOTLOADER UNLOCK
Obviously you should know about the issue that unlocking the bootloader there will be a full reset on the phone.
You can flash TWRP with adb-fastboot or SPFT: Instructions for Flash stock recovery or Custom recovery MEDIATEK devices only
In addition, after installing TWRP you must choose the WIPE-FORMAT DATA option so that Custom Recovery can "see" the MicroSD card. Then there will be a total reset on the phone.
Thanks to tester angel martinez martinez from G+.

Are you saying that unlocking the bootloader for the Blu Vivo One is as simple as using adb to issue the command: fastboot oem unlock? If so, I can pick one up cheap to play with.

Hi guys, im new here but not so new in this world of androids and stuff, I´ve flash and successfully various androids but now i dont know what happen... Im from Venezuela so sorry for my english, I know it´s not the best jeje...
First of all, A client bring me this phone (Blu One Vivo - V0270WW) with problemas in the back camera, when she enters in the camera aplicattion, automatically it opens the front camera whithout opcion of change it, even the "flash" button appears xd, it´s like the software thinks that he is in the back camera but shows you the front camera.
Seeing this I went to Download the correct firmware for this phone, wich casually is the same one than the link commented post above me. I download the last SP Flash Tool (5.1836) opened the scatter file, remove the opcion of preloader (automatically the programs set in download only) with the correct drivers so I press the start button, power off the phone, coneccted and everything seems right in the flash procedure, when ended I see that the normal reboot dont occurred, seeing this i try to turn it on by the regular way, with the button, but nothing happen...
Now the phone it´s totally black, when I connect it to the battery the light of charging tuns on but nothing else, nothing on the screen. If i conect the phone into my pc the drivers appears but it conects and disconnect between 2-3 minutes the flash tool recieve information from the chip, it seems that the firmware doesnt work right... You can using the preloader without problem. The point is not using FORMAT+FIRMWARE UPGRADE or FORMAT+DOWNLOAD options!!

Obviously you can using the Microsd with magisk. Can flash again the TWRP file... So install and ROM start with Root. After that TWRP fixed in your phone!
Well, using TWRP if no look Microsd so you need in the option WIPE-FORMAT DATA (this wipe data correctly). If TWRP can look the Microsd so easy install magisk.
Other same situation happened /solved here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/tank-xtreme-pro-recovery-t3716211/post77201956
