If you get the 5g your kind of future proofed. 5g has 4g as well.
I don't think there is a LTE 4g only option. It is Note 20 5g and Note 20 Ultra 5g. All top tier phones by Samsung use 5g and "piggy back" on the 4g LTE towers so 4g LTE is ubiquitous on the newer phones.

There is a Note20 LTE for the Exynos variant. In the US the only model is the 5G though.

I am buying the redmi note 3 pro from gearbest as it is currently not available in India. 4G lte band listed on gearbest are a bit confusing. Does anyone know if the chinese version of redmi note 3 supports band 40 and 41?
Yes, it supports.
We already know that Verizon’s s10 5g and note 10 5g support just their mmwave and that T-Mobile’s s10 5g supports only their mmwave also while sprints s10 5g supports their mid band but can access T-Mobile’s low band.
I predict that the T-Mobile/Sprint note 10 5g will support both sprint’s mid band and T-Mobile’s low band. I also predict that At&T’s s10 5g will support their mmwave and low band 5g while their Note 10 5g WILL support both their mmwave and low band.

Guys olease help me, i bought this phone 3 weeks ago and i realised that my girlfriend in same places have better LTE than me, often i dont even have LTE and she does. She have Samsung Galaxy S50 i have Redmi Note 9 Pro 128GB bought in Poland and i live also in Poland. I figured out that i probably dont have 800 MHZ LTE and she does, can it be problem? How i can fix it and connect through my phone to 800mHZ... I found that global version of my phone have this freqneucy and mine probably have not, is it true? Really they can sold me in famous polish shop phone with no having basic 800 MHz lte? Cant believe...
I post here screenshot with my phone info, thanks for any help.
Have you bought your phone in India? If not, you HAVE the global version.
Doea your phone have 64MP cam and NFC? Then you have the Joyeuse, which IS the global Note 9 Pro.
If your phone has 48MP back cam and no NFC, it is the INDIAN "Note 9 Pro" which is the same as the globla Note 9s.
By the way, both, 9s and 9 Pro, has LTE Band 20 (800MHZ).
Does your provider feature LTE?
Does your contract have LTE inclusive?
If so, is your phone set up to use LTE Band in the settings?
I Purchased the note 20 Ultra 5G in USA and shipped it to Australia.
I later found out that the US Note 20 Ultra 5G variant doesnt have band n78, which is the main band of Asutralias best 5g provider, Telstra.
I am wondering if anyone knows conclusively if the s7 5g or s7+ 5g has the n78 band, some websites denote it does, others say it doesnt, but i feel they might be reffing to the LTE version sometime which of course does not have n78 5G band. This is the US variant from Samsung.com website.
Thanks in advance
Hello all!
I bought a Note 20 5G N9810 to replace my aging Note 9. The N9810 is the Open China/Hong Kong version with SD865 and 265GB, as opposed to the Exynos model available in the UK.
Phone works great, battery lasts easily a whole day of heavy use. VoLTE and VoWiFi work fine with EE's network.
I have not been able to connect to 5G though. While the phones comes with N1, N41, N78 and N79 bands it doesn't seem to work on EE's network - which uses N78 bands.
I called EE customer care and they advised that since it has the correct 5G bands it should work and they couldn't identify the issue.
Any ideas?
Many thanks

Hi
I imported Snapdragon version of Note 20 Ultra and can confirm same issue.
No 5G on 5G ready SIMs in 5G locations. Tested both Three and EE in Glasgow and Edinburgh UK
Did you buy it from wondamobile?

succeed to make work 5G on EE only after flashing the July firmware, with others newer firmwares doesn't work.
