I use Bedtime Mode on my Galaxy Watch 4 and can't seem to stop it turning on greyscale mode on my S21 Ultra, I can't find any settings that "sync" the 2 devices and disable i, can anyone shed some light on this please?
Grayscale Mode settings for Bedtime Mode are generally found in Digital Wellbeing, at least on AOSP devices. Since you're using OneOS it may be buried under something else but that's where I would start.
Hope this helps.

Hello, thank you for your reply.
Yes, I have turned it off in Digital Wellbeing on my phone but it still activates when I set it on my watch. I usually turn it on, on the watch, when I go to bed but then when I want to use my phone it's a greyscale screen, I would like find a way of stopping the watch control the phone but I don't think it is possible.

I put my phone in the Samsung dock to charge overnight. It goes first to Desk home screen then to a clock that moves around. This is the desired behavior but the clock screen is too bright. How can I dim JUST that one mode? I don't any of the other modes to be dimmer.
TIA

Bump again... I appreciate that this may be below the technical interest level of the many great contributors to this forum but my wifie is about to insist that I put the phone in a drawer at night.

You could try the app 'screen filter'. You'd have to manually turn it on and off, but might do what you need.
Thanks... I was hoping for an automated feature. I can dim it manually each time now. This phone is so good it is hard to imagine there is not a setting or tweak that can't handle this but I still haven't found it. For that matter I can't even find the settings for night time (bedside) mode.
Thanks again.

Hi
I have several questions :
1. I already experienced that the night clock doesn't appear instantly when you put the watch onto the charger. Sometimes it takes a time till it appears.
2. What about screen burn from the night clock? I read about it in the forum for the first gen moto 360. Is it still a issue with the 2nd Gen 360?
3. There are wear developer options in the developer options. And there is the option "burn-in protection" (I hope it's called that way in English, I've got it on German) but it won't activate even after reboot as it tells me to do.

I disable the night clock by turning on theater mode (double click the side button). But I do this because it seems to fix the heart rate monitor from tracking the apparent 100BPM of the charger lol.
I use the Slumber app that automatically turns the screen off as soon as you place the watch on the charger.
I don't think there will be any burn in issue, since Moto360v2 have LCD screen. Burn-in have place on OLED screens only (Huawei Watch for example) since they have organic diods which degrade over time. LCD don't have this issue at all because they have one backlit light for all pixels and 'rotating' pixels. With LCD screens nothing is affected by the picture on the screen (technically). With OLED screens each pixel emits light on its own, therefore degradation of pixels is dependant on the picture on the screen (whether this particular pixel emits the light most time or not) = burn in.
Therefore night mode on Moto360 can be used safely for as long as you wish.

Hola
I tried this slumber app but it did not turn my screen off during charging. Yes, I did launch the app from the watch and ensured that it was enabled.
Am I missing something?
Thanks.

The button to enable/disable Slumber wasn't very intuitive to me. I actually disabled it when I wanted to enable it, so you may have the same problem. Try toggling the setting the other way around.
also, incase anyone noticed, slumber only puts a black overlay on top of the clock. the screen is still lit up at night, but it's black. incredibly stupid on Motorola to not let us shut off the screen.

Yes there is a problem and a big one... my watch with less than 5 months old are all burned now

That's the answer. Why is anyone doing anything else?

The most recent updates fixed it. I use it every night.

Correct. It was the one before the last one. Every night here too.

I put my watch in Theater mode (swipe down from the top, then swipe left) and the face stays off until I remove the watch from the charger and press the button to wake it.
I know this is probably a dumb question, but I can't seem to find an answer. I just ordered a ZW2 from amazon and was wondering, is there a way to keep the display always on? I know you can turn ambient display on and off, but it still looks like it goes to a low power mode, I was hoping to keep it in full display mode all the time. And if this is possible, how much of a battery drain would I be looking at?
There are many face wich are same in active and ambiant mode, depend of the face not really of the mode
The power drain would be unusable. Probably only last like 6 hours or so.

What dersie said. Try Pujie Black watch face app. Lets you set the regular face and the ambient version. Could simply set it the same which would be a workaround to your problem
Hi guys,
When I'm in bed I use the DND (do not disturb) function from my phone and my Stratos.
But Watch Droid still pushes notifications through with vibration.
The only way to stop that is to manually toggle the "vibration when silent" option in Watch Droid settings on the phone. But then it stays silent (even when DND is over) untill I toggle it again.
My phone is always on vibration function (sound always muted) because of my job...
Can someone help me?
Use airplane mode on the watch along with dnd

Can't do that. I need to be reachable for my "favorites": Alarm service, my mother (sick husband) etc etc.
With DND the favorites will go through on the phone.
WD does not "respect" watch's status - try using Amazmod for that configuration
I never realised that WD doesn't have a dnd hours option, because I've always used airplane at night instead of dnd, to save some battery life. It's so strange they've missed such a basic feature.
Only issue with amazmod is it doesn't allow responding to older notifications. Once that functionality comes in, it'll be fantastic

So Amazmod is the better solution here?
Just bought WD
Have to test Amazmod further I guess...

Depends if you need the ability to reply to notifications after they've gone off the screen.

Hi guys,
I have tries quite many things, but at night, my always on display keeps turning off after few seconds - which I dont want.
What I have:
Xiaomi Mi 10, Android 11, MiUI 12.5.2 - Original, Not Rooted.
What I tried:
Battery Optimization and Ultra Battery Optimization is turned off
Digital Wellbeing should not turn off always on display.
Removed and updated Digital Wellbeing app
Plugged the mobile to electricity overnight
And still always on is turning off.
I am quite "desperate" . Can you help please? Is it turning off for you? What can I try more?
Thank you.
under developer options, all the way down, you can find "Turn on MIUI optimisation" and turn it off. Some other stuff will be less than optimal (I don't know what stuff, but you do get a warning), but you get your permanent always on display.

Isn't there an option in the AoD settings so you can choose permanently on AoD or only on for a few seconds on tap or screen lock.
Edit: yep.

Hi, also tried it, and doesnt work. Here are my settings in AOD:
I guess you're out of luck then. You could try a dedicated app AOD.
Download fresh rom of your choice and flash it ......hope it will work
I am currently using 12.5.7 eu rom with root
Everything working perfectly.
