caution that is for the INTERNATIONAL S3 NOT the US S3 ie those downloads may not work at all.
also I want independant camera's like the 4.2 camera. IE the ONLY thing I want from the Note II camera is the slow motion capability. samsung destroyed the burst most function that is so wonderful in the S3 when they upgraded the UI in the Note II
Hi, i want ask if someone can update the drivers of the camera to add the 4k rec, one of the 2 versions of xiaomi mi4c have the same sensor (samsung s5k3m2 ISOCELL) and LETV X500 too!! and it can record in 4k, so i think the problem of redmi note 2 are the drivers and libraries, some one can do a porting ?

you forgot the different soc

Can be mixed the driver from the xiaomi's github with the kernel's source of other phone with the same soc (sony_30.0.A.1.35 and HTC E9a53mldtul-3.10.61-g5e0fd0f ) ?
How to make some sources:
Add sugar,5 eggs,some random other phone source and mix all

No, sorry newbie but Letv x500 have same Soc and same camera, and it can record to 4k, so before to talk you must be informed

good, talk to devs that are working on cm, maybe he can do it
OF course this phone can record 4k at 30FPS. Now on CM/AOSP u can go to 720p 120FPS. But Xiaomi blocked the power of this phone on MIUI. Without sources we cant do anything i think.
Title. I know they are VERY similar, only difference I could find on gsmarena was bluetooth 4.1 vs 4.2 which, in my mind, could be a firmware thing. If not, maybe we should have a subforum for each.

ROMs for Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon works with Redmi note 4X.
What about global variant vs Indian variant? Some have more LTE bands than others. Will I lose any bands if i flash a ROM?

IIRC Global variant is 4X na? If yeah Roms works fine.
Whatever the redmi-note-4 variants ships with 625 / codenamed Mido, are compatible.

Front is Samsung's and rear one is Sony
As SD 625 supports dual VOLTE so, why it is not enable by default by xiaomi.....Any way to implement it!

The chipset also supports Quick Charge 3.0, NFC and Galileo. But that doesn't mean that it's working on our phone

You have to modify the kernel if the motherboard supports it
