sorry for bad english, yesterday i tried to upgrade rom in my star n9500 mtk 6589 4gb hd 1280x720 and i put cwm recowery by mtk droid tools and downloaded rom from need room put it to sd card and soft brick stock on logo android i dont make any backup now i got more problem becouse tel wont start i use sp mdt flash and iv got brick... when i connect to usb its reconising aka mtk usb vcom port. Guys what can i do to bring life to my smartphone.

Try to find a tool and flash the stock ROM back onto it. Get your hands on the stock ROM and if you can go into CWM then install the zip from there else use some tool to flash it from your computer.

Im thinking about where i can found the oryginal rom, seller ? A the moment i cant go in CWM its only black screen when i press on button nothing happend ;/ Any sugesstion ?
Star n9500 unbricked!
Hi! I succesfully unbricked today my star n9500.
After trying to use thousands of roms, adb, fastboot, flashtool...etc
I used SP_Flash_Tool_5.1343.01 (as admin). The option was firmware update and without battery. The drivers were cdc-acm (manual instalation). And the only rom that worked for me (android 4.2.2) was N9500-6582-20131122_e2106_v82_jbaolg from needrom.
I have de 8gb ROM version.:good:
Unpack the rom to a folder then unpack SPFT start SPFT, Select and load scatter file from rom folder, press download,Then connect the powered off V785 phone to the usb cable.

hello...do i have a hard brick {vodafone smart mini 4:crying::crying:}?i flashed wrong boot image then i formatted with sp tools by mistake(i know,dump hey) so now i think my backup is corrupt,most files short...so can u pliz upload a sp flash tool backup plllizz i beg u...or preloader file....thanx

I've got bricked Vodafone 785 and I think only spflash will help me but I don't have any stock rom

Someone did format phone .... sp flash works but only Alcatel popc3 logo and recovery is avaible... after spflash I have broken partition table .... I don't know what to do :/

I was trying to put the nav bar (qemu.hw.mainkeys=0) in the build.prop file and rebooted the phone and iit is boot loop. What can I do? I haven´t CWM because I didnt find it, and I dont find the drivers of the phone.

HI, I followed the instructions above, but I can't get the o.s. Just have the clockworkmod recovery now, so the vodafone 785 doesn't start. I also tried to put the backup folder into my extsd but I'm not able to restore the smartphone from the backup you uploaded (from cwm recovery), because it says "no file". Please can you help me?
Does this work? Anyone confirm?

I have a new vodafone smart 4 mini UK PAYG with 4.4.2
and another with 4.2.2.
Cant get it to update to same as other one ie 4.2.2 to 4.4.2
using OTA as both say they are uptodate.
Am newbie.
I guess copy firmware from one to the other somehow
and pass a copy to stock firmware archives.
Phone is DEAD. Don't Flash Flashtool File...
Can anyone explain what is to be done is phone is dead ? Totally confused !

Vodafone smart 4 mini doesn't start

I bought brand new vodafone smart 4 mini and first I did was root to unlock phone, next a very stupid idea came to my had to update software, after that my phone worked terreble, so another stupid idea came to my head to flash oryginal ROM, I downloaded rom, SPFlash tool , load scatter file and pressed download, everything looked good, it took about one minute and green circle ok at the end. I was verry happy, for couple seconds only, my brand new phone never started again. there was only short blink when I pressed power button , and then nothing. I've been trying to flash the phone many times after that with couple different ROM's but no succes. sometime phone doesn't even blink after flashing. Sometimes at the begining of flashing there is mesage "no partition table" or memory error. Please somebody help me, I'm loosing hope.
I think the only good news is that the "Media Tek PreLoader USB VCOM" still works, and looks like phone cooperates with the tool, maybe I should use different tool, or test phone first with some tool, or create partitin table ?

Hi ,I have phone Allview x1 xtreme mini (ideal clone of iuni u2). I brick my phone few weeks ago ,after that my phone won't power on but in PC was showed as qhsusb_bulk. My phone have msm8x74 series chipset so I found how unbrick it but I haven't rom for my phone with mbn files so I flashed rom from other phone with msm8974 (it's model from my series I have msm8274AA or 8074AA) but after that my phone still won't boot and now also not work with PC only red light blink few times if I connect it to PC without battery.

sorry if i'm posting in a wrong section but i'm new in this forum.
Yesterday i have received a wiko ufeel(not prime not lite) from one of my friend.
He said the phone as LCD problems but is not true.
The phone was bricked, i think he was unabled to change the rom of the phone and something went wrong.
Yesterday i have downloaded 3 roms one from needrom.com e two from wiko website.
I have used 3 different pc with windows 7 64 bit, and two with windows 10 64 bit
I have installed mtk drivers (VCOM)
and with SP Flash tool on different pc i have 3 errors and the procedure not working
error 4032
error 1042
how can i solve??
yesterday i tried other version of sp flash tool but always BROM ERROR S_TIMEOUT(1042)
what is the cause of timeout??
Have you tried ADB fastboot ?
I am actually working on the Xperia X Suzu, fully degoogleised, to replace my wiko ufeel.
When it will be finished I am going to play with the Wiko Ufeel...
But I've search last days if I can find a way to get a code to unlock the bootloader without find a thing...
I think may be I've to email the Wiko staff ^^.
