Try and use uppercut which should remove the need for the DLL.

The 830 DLL works just fine for my 831.

How do you do that? Whenever I try, LGUP just displays Unknown COM7 H83120a whether H830 is installed or not. Tried dozens of times with resets/unplugging/chanting to get around this.
UPPERCUT lets me run LGUP but I get a protocol error at about 12% and it bricks the phone. Tried dozens of times.
No closer to a solution. All detailed advice that works is welcome.

I have the same problem. Fido LG G5. Bricked at 11%. Looking for a solution to in brick (stuck at firmware upgrade)

I'm in the same situation as everyone else was just trying to downgrade my OS because I didn't like the update and it bricked at 11%. I was using the h350 dll... Currently downloading two different stock firmware to try....
I got my LG V10 H961N dual sim last night. It's running on 5.1.1. When i check for update in "About phone" it says "Your phone is not registered yet". I tried the factory reset but no use. I also tried to update it from LG bridge but it also gives error while checking for updates "Cannot check the software version. Try again". Does anyone have any idea ?
Recently I replaced my LG V10 motherboard come with Lollipop 5.1.1, then I update to Nougat through LG Bridge. But when it restart to new Nougat OS it cant detect my sim card anymore... Also, the model also changed from H961N to H960A.
Any solution to switch the model back to H961N?? I tried to flash back to Lollipop but now the phone only stuck in download mode.
LG Bridge detected is H961N which is the correct model, while in LGUP is H960A.
Have you seen if the IMEI was modified?
Hi, i got lg g6 h873 before i could get calld and test messages but after reset i got a message service data blocked. I cant get the apn configuration. I even replace sim card. I already tried the phone information but ibcant turn off radio cause the application is not supported on this device.
Also, how to update without computer if its possible, as it says not registered on software update. Cannot find proper solution.
I recently bought a refurbished LG G8X off of eBay and noticed that I couldn't update the phone past Android 9. OTA would fail and LG Bridge says "cannot check software version" when trying to update and "your phone information cannot be checked" when trying the update error recovery. Checking the software version says "V10c-LAO-COM". Does anyone else with the LM-G850EMW model have this same software version?
