Two devices on Zepp - Amazfit

Hello all.
I have two devices on my Zepp app, the devices are GTS mini and a Band 5.
However when I change say from the GTS to the Band 5 the data still shows from the GTS and does not switch to the data from the Band 5.
The small indicator at the top left of the screen change to show the Band 5.
Also the GTS has its own screen on the device to view sleep data but the Band 5 appears not to.
So as I am unable to view the data from the Band 5 on the Zepp app I am unable to see the sleep data from that device.
I hope this makes sense.

Then you have too change the Names of both devices in the Zepp Application. It should work, I have three devices paired and named any of them.

Thank you for the reply, but the devices have different names by default ie Amazfit GTS2 Mini and Amazfit Band 5 anything else should I be doing?

what kind of rom have you on that both devices? are there a custom rom for the gts mini?= have you looked here in forum? I think for the band there aren`t a custom rom. I would say, use for your gts mini the zepp app and for the band use the mi app. please check if it would work.

i think that only a few watches could you save in the zepp app

Suunto watch

So i have a problem with my Suunto smartwatch. It always disconnects from bluetooth after a while. I use Movescount app for it and it disconnects. Any ideas? I tried to make it not close, and exclude from battery saving options.
Have something similar but with huawei band watch.
It gets disconnected, likewise I have made the watch band app keep active in background, I have not set up any battery customisation etc to run. Yet still gets disconnected.

You can try adding this program to the protection program.
Go to Settings > System > About phone or Settings > About phone to check the EMUI version of your phone. If the version is EMUI 8.0 or later, perform the following steps:
1.Go to Settings > Battery > Launch to find the app for the wearable device, and disable all Manage all automatically switches. On the Manage manually screen, enable all three switches: Auto-launch, Secondary launch, and Run in background.
2.Open the app for the wearable device, then touch the Recent key or swipe on the Home key to display the recent tasks screen. Find the wearable app, and touch the Lock icon on the top to lock the app.
Note: Make sure you are using the correct app for your wearable. For example, if you are using a Huawei Watch, select the Wear OS app.
This settings solved my problem.
Using Garmin Fenix 3
Thanks it seems to work now. Been steady for 2 days. Hopefully it keeps going.

Hi, I use Garmin fenix with Garmin Connect and in my case the solution above doesn't work. Fenix is diconnecting and don't connect again. With P20 Pro it was working perfect. Any idea?

Bad bluetooth connection with Amazfit and Bip/Bip S

I've been using an Amazfit Bip together with the Mi Fit app for a long time without any problems. The Bip hardly ever lost connection to the phone. Then I bought an Amazfit Bip S and as the Mi Fit app does not support it, I had to use the Amazfit app. I recognized that the Bip S permanently lost bluetooth connection to the phone, no matter what settings I changed. So I thought it would be a problem of the Bip S and bought a normal Bip again. But same problem... if the phone does not lie directly on the table, most of the time Bip has no bluetooth connection. Even if the phone is in its case on my belt, the Bip loses connection.
So it must have something to do with the Amazfit app, I guess. Somewhere I read that if you uninstall and reinstall it, Bluetooth connection problems may be gone. But if I uninstall the app, I lose all data, so before I do that I try to investigate what could be the problem.
The phone is a Blackview BV9700 Pro. I already cleared all data and cache of the Bluetooth app. I restarted the phone. I turned Bluetooth off and on again. I turned the option for a permanent notification in the Amazfit app on and off, makes no difference.
Can anyone confirm that the Amazfit app has a bad Bluetooth connection compared to the Mi Fit app? Could the problem be caused because both apps were installed at the same time at the beginning? I had Mi Fit installed, installed Amazfit and because the Bip was recognized by both apps I uninstalled Mi Fit and kept only Amazfit.

Hello,
Few things:
- I would recommend you to use only one App, AmazFit or MiFit at a time. I guess AMazFit is preferable depending on the watch you have. Unpair from one app and uninstall the app you don't want to use
- if you uninstall and reinstall the Amazfit or MiFit app with same credentials, Mi account or with mail/phone number, you should recover your data saved and you won't loose all your history. Maybe the one from the current day, I think. I jumped from MiFit to Amzfit with same account with no problem, recovering data for many years
- concerning the bluetooth, not sure what OS your are using, iOS or Android. You could check in the Amazfit or Mi Fit app properties if the OS is not using "battery saver" functions. Sometimes, by default, the battery saving is in "restricted mode" which can affect connections like wifi/bluetooth to save power. Try to see if you have this battery saving function ON and set to "no restrictions" - at least this is what I do on my Android phone.

Hm, now as you said it... the Amazfit app also loaded the data from the Mi account.

The phone uses Android 9. The Amazfit app is not restricted by any battery saving modes as I put it on "Not optimized" just like the Mi Fit app before.

Amazfit GTS and Sync with two Mobiles

Hello !!
I have had the Amazfit GTS for three months and it worked perfectly.
I had it linked to two different mobiles, an iPhone and an Android.
I could use one or the other to download sports activities and check steps, sleep etc ...
With the update to Zepp it has stopped synchronizing with the iPhone, it cannot connect.
On Android it works perfectly.
I would like to be able to continue using both phones, but it can't connect, it tells me to reset the clock and try again.
Can any of you have two different phones connected?
Not at the same time, turning off the other's BT first.
Greetings.
Tested!
Not at the same time.
Connect GTS to iphone with Zeep account A then tủrn off iphone Bluetooth
Then sign on to Zeep account A on the Android phone and connect bluetooth with GTS.
Now. When you want to connect to what phone to receive notification, then just tủrn off bluetooth on the other phone. GTS will automatic connect to the first phone it see to show the notification and syscn the activities.

Any tips on using the stratos 3 together with amazfit band 5?

Last week I got an amazfit band 5. I already had a stratos 3. Today I ran 20km wearing both the band and the watch, recording the activity only on the stratos. The band 5 was the active device. Then when done I did a manual data sync from the stratos without activating it. I was hoping to get PAI AND all the firstbeat metrics. The data sync worked or it least it said it did but the activity didn't show up in zepp or strava so after maybe 5 minutes I activated the stratos and synced from zepp. Then the activity displayed in zepp. Finally I activated the band 5 again, because it's more comfortable and might be better for sleep etc.. This last step reset my 18k steps in zepp back to zero which was disappointing. I did get 79 pai though.
Should I have waited longer before giving up and activating the stratos or can't this be done?
EDIT* Answering my own question. Yes I should have waited. Today I tried again except this time with an indoor rowing activity on the stratos and a manual data sync from the watch and the activity displayed in zepp and synced to strava without me having to activate the stratos in zepp. I might go back to wearing the bip s.
Sleep detection on the band is pretty strange. Says I was in rem sleep while reading in bed.

Connect two device on zepp simultaneously

Hi.
Can I connect two devices on zepp simultaneously? I bought a amazfit band 5 and I have a amazfit pace, but when I activate one the another desactivate, and this proccess are manually. I installed a notify for amazfit and the band works, but after a few hours the band not sync again. I have tryed with mi fit app, but can't conecct the band to the app.
My solution yet, is get the key of the band with a modded zepp app(from freemyband), uninstall it and use notify for amazfit connecting with auth key and withnot zepp app, after installing the zepp oficial app for pace.
EDIT: after a bluetooth disconect, or reboot he phone. The sync and notifications not work correctly again.
Hi there, is Alexa working when you use notify for amazfit? I have two phones with two different accounts to be able to use Amazfit band 5 and GTR 2, I use the band because of Alexa.
I can't use alexa on notify, because this is a pro feature and I was not purchase pro license yet.
How many days GT 2 works with always on display? On sunlight is good visible screen like as pace?
