Hello everyone.
I am trying to flash an older version of firmware on my S906U1, the version which still allow me to access band selection.
But I get this error:
SW rev check fail bksacappl fused 2 > binary 1
Secure check fail bksedcapp(6)
Any ideas how to make this work?

I am looking to downgrade from firmware version G925W8VLU2AOG2 to G925W8VLU1AOCG. I have downloaded the firmware, and have loaded it up in ODIN through the AP slot, but when I attempt to complete the process I get the following error: imgur dot com slash vgCerPv
The ODIN screen on my phone says SW REV. CHECK FAIL. DEVICE: 2, BINARY: 1
I am trying to downgrade so I can root my phone (ping pong doesn't work with current firmware, and eventually flash a rom and run xposed (now that it works for the S6).
I'm running ODIN 3.10.7

Try installing TWRP or Clockwork Mod via ADB shell or flash it after rooting your device.

So previously I had a hardbrick due to an error in using twrp as a result I couldn't use my phone for a few months until I found a tutorial that uses QFL as a flashing tool so I used the shared firmware but I realized this one is different from the Odin firmware I downloaded and made my device can't be rooted this time I tried to download the android 11 firmware hopefully it doesn't experience fused binary 3 > binary 2 so if anyone knows how to root after using unbrick firmware please let me know.
Hey, looks like i cant update from S906BXXU2AVG6 to future versions, with and without root.
I will keep the data, so i use HOME_CSC.
Has anyone done a update after this version?
Even when i flash the unpatched S906BXXU2AVG6 AP file i got
#Reboot Recovery Cause is [UNKNOWN]#
#Reason is [fs_mgr_mount_all:060002...
