Amazfit stratos 3 not syncing with Ios - Amazfit

Hi,
6 months ago I received a second hand stratos 3 which was working well for my need.
Unfortunately I had to change my 6 years old samsung for a brand new iPhone 13.
--> it's not possible to sync it with Zepp app anymore with my (new) phone.
I know that I have to factory reset the watch to get QR code ... So at this time it's working with my android tablet but not with my iPhone.
I even received amazfit's app to factory reset the watch connecting it trough USB but it doe not solved the problem.
Is there somebody here using it with an iPhone ? Do you know if it's really compatible ?

[Q] Android Bluetooth APP

Hello guys
In the last months, i used a lot of APP´s of Google Play and other sources to try to solve my "problem" wich has upset me several mothns ago since i bought my new mobile.
I have a X3 iDEOS with Android 2.3.3, but i,m stuck with it about Bluetooth interaction with my carkit handsfree:
- doesn´t show the caller name (in the car or in my netbook when receive a call)
- doesn´t allow to make a call trough the mobile and redirect it (ex. pressing the steering wheel button)
* Previously i had one HTC with WM 6.1, and after i "rooted" it´s original ROM for another, the 2 items above worked well
I have my X3 at 3 months and i´m affraid of "brake is original ROM" because of the warranty right now.
Is there any guy here @ XDA, that can make the 2 things described above??
I´m willing to test, and pay a affordable price for an APP that solves this items with Android 2.3.3 :good:

Then last week looking for an application I added a few more. Neither the first nor the second all added, had always complained that any certificate or something but for me were expendable and was not a problem.

My other problem is that you buy the watch legally but internet and did not know it was necessary to have a Samsung mobile so that it can use, my phone is Huawei Ascend P6 (U06) so I had to find the way to install your Gera Manager to initiate Gear S, I got it and I could synchronize almost everything but heat or can I use the market to Samsung, or I can download apps from google market for Samsung so neither synchronizes my S Healt but the biggest problem is that I can not access download these two aplicacioens in case they were (I do not know but I think not because I think they are based, said stock?).
I even consulting Samsung but was told there was no other way to use the clock to install applications that access having a Samsung mobile and installed the clock via mobile ... step commented that they refer also to take Healt S records of mobile to the computer and told me that they could not done through synchronization with the application in the mobile ...
Total I'm handcuffed, please help

I encountered this problem too in last few days. There are three applications disappeared: weather, alarm, and e-mail. And I have no idea what happened. Maybe it's the setting of the firmware?

True, to put applications if I remember correctly you have to give it root and install another version of firmware, this has made many people per ocreo that many did not use those applications and therefore not hechan missing. Auna I updated latest version appeared three applications but only a few minutes, it seems as if other applications or the system itself remove them for something, see if someone helps us, while I put it and yours is the first participation thanks for teaching that does not happen only to me, Greetings

Amazfit Pace stuck with QR

Hi,
I am from Spain.
Just bought my Amazfit Pace and tryied to paired it with a Huawei P10 with custom Android 8.0.0. Got stuck with the QR. I have even achieved to paired it with the Amazfit Watch app, but the code didn't diseapear.
Then I tryied to paired it with another device with Android 4.3 and no problem at all, I have updated the watch firmware to 1.3.8a to see if that was the problem, but the issue would remain.
I changed language in my phone to chinese, re-installed app from china, no luck. Did the same with english, with the same result.
Tryed to write to Amazfit but the solution was to turn off bluetooth and try to paired it again.
Could anyone suggest a solution, 'cause I am becoming crazy.

I had same issue with Stratos. Had to pair it with mi account on a phone with android 7, and then log on my main phone with same account and Watch was paired already. I think it's general problem on oreo

I'm also waiting for someone who knew if it's possible. I currently own the Chinese version with ColorOS installed and is also wondering if it is possible to install a Global ROM with WearOS.

First of all you need to register an account through oppo website as doing it in the coloros app requires you to have a China mobile number.
Once the account is made download the coloros app using the QR code from the watch.
In the app login using the account you made.
From my experience the coloros which is available in the app store could not connect to the watch. It required the specific coloros app from the QR code given by the watch during setup.

Hi Omar, what do you mean by being not able to connect the Chinese version of Oppo watch to your S20 or any Android phone? I was probably the first in Canada buying Oppo watch in March and after a few month I found the way to connect it to my Galaxy S10 phone

With the Chinese version there is no way it can connect to WearOS. You will basically use ColorOS especifically the one that it asks you to download after using the QR code given by the watch.

There is the Chinese version of the watch and there is this global version. The Chinese version uses ColorOS while the global version uses WearOS. It is a bit tricky to setup the Chinese version of the watch as some of the instructions are in Chinese and the QR code takes you to a site different from Playstore to get the ColorOS. However the global version is a lot easier to connect as its using the WearOS available in playstore.

And you have to register and create an account first using your email address at Oppo's website before continuing with the setup. Once an account is created use the email address as the login information instead of a mobile number as you will need a chinese mobile number to continue.

I Also bought a Chinese Oppo Watch (unfortunately). I have a Oppo phone (Model CPH1877) and connected the watch by downloading the "Health app"' using the QR code on the watch. Some apps on the watch are Chines some are in English (I have put the language on the watch on English).
Notifications from the phone to the watch are working perfectly but the Chinese app store is limited. I also mis a payment method on the watch. Only for Chinese banks.
Would love to flasch the international ROM on the watch but don't now how to do that and I can't find an international ROM for the watch.
Anyone ideas???

I also apparently got the Chinese version of the Oppo Watch (46mm) from Bludiode.com in England. I thought I was getting the international version. I have tried to connect it to Wear OS using my Samsung Note 20 Ultra, but it connects and gets about 1/8th of the way through "getting watch information"....then stops.
How did you get your watch to run Color OS? I have tried to use the Health App it wants me to download, use my e-mail address...then it wants a phone number? I've tried suing my USA number, but that doesn't work. I've read other posts where people say that you need an international number for that to work? How did you get past that step?
Any help would be appreciated as I'm sitting here with a $300 paperweight right now. Would love to connect it to something and have it work....at all.

Hi skersh,
I have an Oppo phone as well. So I registered an Oppo account when I got the phone. Since you don't have an Oppo phone I quess you need to register an Oppo account with a Chinese phonenumber. When the watch is connected to your phone via the Chinese health app (Hey Tap Health for Wear OS) the watch works perfect.

Thanks for your reply! I really appreciate it. Any ideas on how I can get a "chinese phone number" just to make this watch work? Or, would purchasing a cheap Oppo phone, then registering that phone and getting and Oppo account make the watch work that way?
Just trying to weigh my options here.
I did contact the seller in England and told them that they sold me the "Chinese version" and not the "Global or International Version" and have asked for an exchange or refund. No word back from them yet.

I would try to find a Chinese phonenumber. Perhaps Google can help? If you buy a cheap Oppo phone, the watch will be connected with that phone and not woth your Samsung Note. Can you register an Oppo acoount with Oppo in England?

Thank you and thanks for the video link! I'll purchase an Oppo Phone to connect to the watch. I'm glad that you also told me that it won't connect with my Samsung Note, that answered another question I was going to pose. Perhaps, I'll at least be able to connect and use the watch with the Oppo phone and in the meantime, hope that a bootloader is unlocked later on and allows Wear OS to be flashed to it sometime soon!

Thank you VERY much for that video! After watching it, I used my phone number (USA) instead of trying to use an e-mail address to set up and account.
IT WORKED!
I was able to connect to my Oppo Watch using my Samsung Note 20 Ultra, after downloading the Health app (from scanning the QR Code on my Oppo Watch) I got it synced up and it's working fine! I did have to use a second phone using Google Translate to deciper some of the setup screens, but I'm getting notifications, I've picked a watch face and everything seems to be working just fine!
I really appreciate your help and for now, will use my Note 20 Ultra with the Oppo Watch.

Glad you.managed to get the watch working with your S20. I am.also considering getting the oppo watch Chinese version and I currently use a Samsung note 10 plus.
What I wanted to ask you is that when the oppo watch is tracking your fitness (steps, workouts) via the health app in coloros, does it also show up on the Samsung health app on your S20?
I currently have the Samsung galaxy watch and naturally it's all in sync with the phone health app but I hate the watch and would love to get the oppo watch in stainless steel!

Amazfit GTR 3 Pro questions

I love my new Amazfit GTR 3 Pro except for a few things.
I can't find a timer feature. There is a count down setting but it doesn't alarm at the end of the countdown. I used my old Versa as a timer all the time. Had anyone found a timer setting?
The watch calendar won't sync with (get data from) my Google calendar on my phone. Has anyone been able to pull data from their Android phone's Google calendar into the watch? I saw a review from GSMArena that stated they did this.
There doesn't seem to be a way to change notification or alarm tones. Unless I missed a setting some where.
I also noticed it is quite picky about song file formats. It won't recognize some some that I have ripped.
I am also a GTR 3 Pro owner and have the same problem with the calendar sync. I have tried everything but it just won't sync. The count down timer however sounds and vibrates if you turn on "notification sound" in the sound and vibration setting in the Zepp app. I don't think you can change notification and alarm tones. Waiting for the Notify for Amazfit & Zepp app to be compatible with GTR 3. It has a ton of extra options.

Well, I guess my countdown is broken. I have the notificaton sound and vibrate setup already. I don't get an alarm or vibration when the countdown is done and sometimes the countdown will stop a 1 second and not finish. I have to use the alarm function and create an alarm with the amount of time that I need.
I've rebooted the watch but that didn't fix my countdown issue.
That doesn't sound good. If a factory reset doesn't fix the problem then a return is your only option I guess. Good luck!
Hi, guys. I'm currently staying in China and bought GTR 3 Pro. I chose China as a region in Zepp app as well. To my big surprise the watch is fully Chinese lang. I couldn't find any option to switch over to Eng neither in Zepp nor in watch settings. Any workaround?

In the Zepp app under watchsettings you have "system language". Here you can change the watch language.

There is no such option, mate. I know it should be and where to find - nothing in there, nor in watch itself.
When I set up my watch I didn't have an option to set up region. I could choose between a bunch of languages and I chose “follow phone language (Swedish). Since the watch doesn't support Swedish it automatically chose English. Didn't you have that option during setup?

I set up a region while registering in the Zepp app. When was setting up the watch itself I didn't have any requests to follow device's lang or anything lang changing related. I contacted a customer support, they said it's a domestic version and it can't be set into any other lang but Chinese. Which is weird.

Yeah, have already applied for it. Here in China when you buy something there is a rule of 7 days no reason return. Amazfit representatives told me that I need to order it from Amazon haha

Amazfit Zepp app doesn't show watch faces in the store, and Alexa doesn't work on my new GTR 3Pro unless my phone is connected to an external WiFi network! Everything was fine with my Amazfit GTS 2 watch! 4g and 5g is receiving data just fine as always! Any thoughts?

Why so? Do you have this double BT connection too?
the trouble is that when I turn on the BT only the first automatically connect to app, for the other (2E08) I've to connect manually.

First bluetooth is to connected the watch to the phone (zepp) and the second one is to connect the watch to answer to the calls. You can accept the first only or both of them.
I've got the answer from support team:

The problem is that when I connect the Gtr, the BT for answer to the calls, do not connect automatically, and I've do this manually.
Is it normal or it's a bug?

I don't use anymore the Bt answer, is very energy intensive. But the few days i used it, the second bluetooth connection was automatic for me.
