Flatic T95 issues with apps - Android Stick & Console AllWinner based Computers

I got a T95 I'm using for octo4a. Basically it just sits with a 3d printer plugged in and the app runs octoprint so I can remote into the printer.
It works fine at work. When I get home I go to check and my app is no longer connected. I'm guessing it's a power save issue or something. Seems like the settings are hidden or missing for most of the Android stuff. Any way to enable or an app that can access them?
Anyone know where I can get to the power settings? Also when I reboot I have to tick the box to accept the USB connection. Any way to store this? My phone does it I click the box and it was connecting automatically after. But on the T95 it ask every time I boot.

[Q] USB Debugging Won't Stay On

Hello everyone! I scanned a few pages and search a bit but couldn't find my exact problem already listed;
When I plug in my USB cable to my laptop (Windows 7) the phone goes into 'installer mode' and sits there for about 10-15 seconds then switches to 'media device' mode. That's cool because I want it to be in media device mode normally, installer mode is useless. The problem is, if I open dev options and select USB Debugging mode, it only stays for 10-15 seconds then pops back into media device mode -- for the 10-15 seconds I can connect from my PC and start pushing my app over but then it fouls up when it comes out of dev mode.
My phone is rooted but I have very few apps on it yet, the only rooted app I have is a wifi tether app which I haven't used yet, and NoBloat which I used to disable some verizon crud. It will still flip out of usb debug mode even if I don't try to push any data to it... GRRR! I also have a problem where I can't sign into Samsung Account ("Samsung Account has stopped working")... but that's another story >=(

Sounds like your wonderful "Debloat" app uninstalled something you needed. That's why these apps are useless. One persons soultion isn't for everyone.

As a matter of fact, I completely re enabled everything I had frozen before posting and it still doesn't work.could it be a flaw in the root process?
To be clear, I never "un-installed" anything with NoBloat, I only "Disabled" or froze some apps (mostly amazon and the verizon nfl center, nothing system-wise).

Well if you want to do a system restore send me a PM and I'll give you instructions to do so. I'll only be up for about another hour or so.

For those waiting with bated breath, a full restore did not help the issue of it not staying in USB Debug mode. In fact, a total reflash of the stock ROM and kernel still had the exact same problem, which I re-created right after I performed the initial setup... so this bug exists in the normal stock ROM it seems...

Your phone might be defective if it never worked from the day you got it. If that's the case you should go to Verizon.

Nah, I'm almost 100% it's just a software problem because if I uncheck Debug mode then check it again, I can use the phone in dev mode for like 15-20 seconds and everything works perfectly... I can push my APK to test and it works great, but after it flips back to media mode it just kind of dies...
Edit: Can you plug your phone into your PC and tell me what mode it starts in, then wait 20 seconds and see if it changes modes? My phone immediately goes into "Installer Mode" then 20 seconds later changes to Media Mode (MTP). Maybe it's a problem with the drivers I have installed causing the phone to flip out of dev mode...

The chumps at Verizon don't know how to do anything besides make phone calls and Samsung support is always closed by the time I get home...
Figured it out! Went into device manager and updated the "CDC Serial" with the driver from the Kies application from Samsung website, that cleared it up!

Nordictrack Commercial 2950 Android tablet

Just got this treadmill and it’s basically a 23” android tablet connected to the treadmill. Thanks to another thread here, I managed to get into “privilege mode” which allows you to access the android shell and settings. For others looking for this info, instructions to get into this mode are
1. In the ifit app go into settings
2. Tap on maintenance
3. In the blank space below the maintenance settings, tap rapidly, around 10-20 times
4. “Privileged mode” will show up as a message at the bottom of the screen
5. Swipe up from the bottom edge and you will see the android taskbar, tap on the circle and you will go to home, now you can access android settings
I do not know how to turn off this mode. However it seems to be ok, only difference is that the treadmill will boot to android home, then launch the ifit app, which may be disconcerting to some SO sharing the device.
Now on to the hard part, it’s running 7.1.2, so I assume after going into settings and turning on install from other sources, I could side load. Nope, browser crashes every time when I try to download something, eg apk file.
There is no user accessible USB port, any idea what I should do or side load stuff like Netflix? YouTube on the browser seems to work though.... any help here would be much appreciated!!

Wow. I have the 2017 version of the 2950 that has Android 5.1.1 along with an external USB A female port and a (useless) female HDMI out port that should allow hard wire video / audio to a nearby HDMI input capable device.
I, too have privleged mode active per a tech support call a while back. Anyway, let me say that a while ago I nearly bricked mine trying to sideload a few APK's, so be ready to assume the responsibility for anything that may happen. You should be able to get to the browser in the OS and go to Google.com and sign in... this will let you get to Drive and Gmail and grab any APK's you've parked there from a PC or whatever?
Hey, do you have WiFi for 2.4GHz only or maybe 5.8GHz as well? Just curious, not that it will help me at all... I have a USB-A to Ethernet dongle that refuses to work with the console's USB port . My 2.4 connectivity is garbage.
This is ironic. I opened the built in browser and was going to sign into google to grab an APK of Google Home... all of a sudden I see Privilege Mode Removed (or something like that) pop up and the iFit app stared up. Now the 2950 fires up quicker like it did when new. SO bizarre!

Pixel 2 non-functioning screen, options for using ADB?

Greetings fellow techno-wizards! Got a big problem that I'm hoping you can help me with.
Long story short, my trusty Pixel 2 had one too many drops, now the screen won't turn on and won't respond to touch. The logic board is operating, and I haven't rebooted since then, so I can unlock with the fingerprint sensor.
I plan on getting an Pixel 5 when it releases, and have an LTE Tablet to limp along until then.
My biggest problem is authenticators on my phone that I may or maynot have the backup QR code for, as well as many other things I'd like to get off the phone before I retire it.
I have the following things at my disposal:
Pixel 2, with USB Debugging turned on, and recently trusted the PC. No screen, no touchscreen.
WearOS watch paired to phone (can get notifications and texts)
Bluetooth Mouse
Wired mouse with USB to USB C adapter
Chromecast
Win PC with Scrcpy installed, already tried to use it to show the screen on the PC, I'm guessing its been too long and I have to press a notification to trust the PC.
The Goal:
To cast the screen to a chromecast and pair a bluetooth mouse, and/or get Scrcpy working by accepting the dialog that I can't see. This would allow me to use the migrate tool to the new phone I will eventually get.
I tried long ago to use a USB C to HDMI adapter, that doesn't work. Google wants you to use a Chromecast for such things (Thanks a ton Google )
The thing I need to figure out next is how to use ADB to force the phone to start casting to a Chromecast, or to remotely accept the dialog. The wired mouse with adapter should work to control the phone instead of the touchscreen, but without any video out, I'm clicking blindly. The microphones are working, but I've never tried to command the assistant to start casting before.
Can anyone suggest the next step I should try?
Just had a thought, there are accessibility features for blind people that would let them use the screen without seeing it. Is there any ADB command to enable these features? If I plug in a keyboard, is there a keystroke combination to turn them on?

Since you say ADB is enabled on the phone you should be able to pull out by means of ADB-driver the data in mind to your Windows computer.

[FIX] Bootloop on MiTV Box 4k/S/2018

Try Method 2 only if you're sure your Remote has no problem and is connected properly. First is trying to determine the course of action. If you just bricked it. Then there's nothing you can do unless you take it to the care center or if you had adb enabled then you can force it into fast boot look after connecting it to your pc. That will be in another post. For now troubleshooting it is our concern.
So you have tried to use the TV Box and you can't force it to go into recovery mode neither have you had any luck with the usb stick update.
Method 1:
The problem is Mi TV Box won't boot and will infinitely boot loop unless the paired remote is connected. So most likely the boot loop is caused as the remote and tv box isn't communicating. Your remote may either be damaged or need a change of batteries or may have been unpaired/disconnected after the update.
So grab a USB mouse or USB Keyboard. Try mouse click and there will be a blank screen. Wait for 5-10 minutes. It takes time to load or is simply slower when disconnected from the remote.
Some keyboards don't work. But if they do, keep pressing either Esc or Enter till the Bootloop ends and brings you to a blank screen. Be patient and use a mouse/keyboard arrow keys to navigate to settings and Remote & Accessories. Then select Xiaomi RC and click on Unpair. The Battery % will be shown if it was connected properly. So then re-pair the remote and then restart. You can restart by holding the power button till the power menu pops up. That's it and that's all. Be careful since both Mi TV and Mi TV Boxes will not make it past the boot screen unless the paired or stock remote is connected properly. You can't find a totally working replacement/spare remote since the remote and the tv box are one unit and if either is damaged or has a manufacturing defect, it can't be easily replaced. As both have sort of link. So suppose you buy two Mi TV 4K Boxes and use both at the same time. The remotes will pair up and be forever linked to one particular at the time of set up. You can't randomly change it after that. Exceptions are always there but this is the case for the most part. Or so I believe it to be.
Method 2: If the above method didn't fix it. The issue is software related. You may need to perform a hard reset using either the recovery or get a keyboard with the same or equivalent combination of keys you'll use on the remote. Considering the remote not working or unable to boot into recovery using the remote. If possible get two people to do the recovery sequence on the remote. Since the remote is good quality and sensitivity for button press. Then load up the stable or latest beta update available onto a pen drive. Make sure that the update package is renamed to update.zip. Before installing Wipe/Reset All Data and it'll ask for confirmation. Confirm it and then proceed to install update.zip. The Pen Drive used may also result in success or failure. So use a reliable know good USB 3.0/2.0 stick. SanDisk gave me issues. I had to re-install thrice to get it to work properly. Also don't use sizes above 16 GB. Upto 32 GB is supported. And it may support external harddisk drives but the format is to be kept in mind. Any pendrive larger than 32 GB comes out of the box with either NTFS or exFAT File System Format. So check that before you put the update on it.

Question Issue with Screen Casting mirror to TV - Extended screen

Hi,
I have recent few months experienced that my screen casting to TV or other monitors, that it shows my phone, but only the background and i cannot do anything about the TV monitor.
While casting, phone works like normal, just beside the TV casting is missing everything, icons etc. so only a background and what appears to look like an "App drawer" icon. I just cannot access it.
Also with oppos report "Feedback" i cannot submit an issue, when i try submit it say "Go Complete" but nothing happens.
How to contact costumer support or any idea how to get this to work?
Best regards.
Running ColorOS 12, Android11, PEUM00_11_A.22
I'm thinking, could this had any influcence, since i have had tried to dock my phone, to USB extender, put keyboard + mouse, and for fun tried to plug in HDMI with no response, or is it an update or so that went wrong.
