Location of wifi passwords - Samsung Galaxy S21 Questions

On my previous phones, I could find the wifi passwords in /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf.
But it's not there on my S21.
Anyone knows where I should look?

Never mind. Found them in
/data/misc/apexdata/com.android.wifi/WifiConfigStore.xml

[Q] Geolocation issue?

Has anyone else had issues with your tab finding your location via wifi? It finds it on some networks (like my home and a hotel I was in a week ago), but unable on others (mainly at my workplace and my in-laws house). I didn't notice it until I flashed new TW roms. Google maps says location unavailable, Beautiful Widgets stays on last known location, etc.
Could this be a wifi network issue or a tab issue?
Edit: I flashed back to my original stock backup and I still couldn't get a location. I;m at work, where is hasnt been able to find my location.

Most likely your work's wifi network is far enough from the street that it isn't in Google's database.
Same for the inlaws. In their case - is there Street View coverage in their area? If not, it's far less likely that wifi APs in that area will be in Google's database, as the Street View trucks are the main way they build the DB.
Ah. That makes sense as both are rural and my home is not. I didn't realize that was google's work. Figured the location was through the isp or something.

[Q] share android lan connection over wifi

Hi folks, I hope someone can offer some words of advice.
I would like to be able to share my ethernet internet connection on my android 2.2 tablet via wifi.
I know there are various app's on phones that allow you to share your 3g connection but I have not found anything that I can actually install that will create the same sort of functionality on my tablet, most of the ones I've seen on the play store are simple short cuts giving control over the pre-existing wifi hotspot app.
What I need is the wifi hotspot itself, ie the ability to use my tablet as a router/bridge.
So any thoughts people?
Bump
Really, no comments at all, nobody?
Someone must have thought of this before me, if not does anyone know where I can find an actual wifi hotspot app not just a set of controls for the pre-installed hotspot?
Thanks
Jon
If you're talking about what I think you are, I've yet to find a way to broadcast your ethernet connection with your Wi-Fi Hotspot like a router. If there's a way to do it I'd be interested, but somehow I don't think there's a way to do it!
Beginning to think your right Wolfy. To be honest not that surprised there is no ready made to ethernet to wifi app but I thought I'd be able to find a traditional wifi hotspot that I can install on my tablet just for the sake of having a go & seeing if it works.
Amazed that there haven't been any other responses! Where are the regulars?

Looking for WEP Encrypted hotspot

So im looking for a wep ecrypted wifi hotspot for my lg g4 running 5.1 (forgot codename, lol)
I am FULLY aware that wep is much weaker than compared tk WPA / WPA2, the reason why im looking for WEP is security education purpose.
I know it sound like a simple question to solve with a simple google search, but i cant find anything using google.
Best thing i found was an app called Barnacle on the playstore that has WEP, unfortunatly i also noticed in that thread that it was built for android 2.2.
Any suggestions for a WEP encrypted hotspot?

An application for hacking wifi passwords, where to start?

Hi, I am thinking of making an android application that will try a thousand passwords on a wifi network and see if a password matches. The app will be simple but I don't want to go through all the trouble of monitor modes or things like that.
Basically, the app would search for wifi networks, we shall click on a network and it will bruteforce with 1000 passwords and see if a password matches and will display a message or the password if found.
I have developed apps before but I do not know how do I start this one? Any resources or functions or some help would be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards.

Question Saved Wifi Networks

Does anyone know of a (non-rooted) way to transfer all saved Wifi networks and passwords from my old phone(Huawei Honor 6X) to the Samsung A52 ? i have used Smartswitch to succesfully transfer virtually everything else but it did not include stored Wifi details.
Cheers.
