.It doesn't switch on no matter how long you press the power button
when connected to computer, it is detected, but the device manager shows these words
(QHSUSB_BULK)
If install mi-flash is tool installed and the phone is connected to the computer,
(qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008(COM10)
(i guess the mi flash tools comes with some qualcom drivers)

Bricked After Flashing Similar Device's ROM.

Hello once again,
Today I went on to flash a Redmi 3S ROM on a Redmi 4 Prada, which have similar hardware.
I replaced the boot.img in the original ROM zip, modified the build.prop a bit, and flashed
Now the Redmi 4 won't boot to recovery or bootloader...
Furthermore, if I press the power button for a while, the device will turn on and immediately off
What should I do?
A detailed guide would help me, because I never found one detailed enough while working with device manager and stuff...
EDIT: I can't get it into fastboot and device manager shows "qualcomm hs-usb diagnostics 900e"
Solved. I used a deep flash cable (with black and white wires) and on device manager the device turned to "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008"
After that, I was able to flash an official dev ROM using MiFlash

[help] red light blinking

I accidentally flashed Redmi note 3 firmware into Redmi note 4. Now only red light is blinking. No fastboot also. Computer showing in ports Qualcomm hs usb qdloader 9008 (com3). Please help me flash full fastboot rom
if your computer detects your device as qdloader , that means it is in EDL mode, in this mode , you should be able to flash fastboot roms using miflash , you should read this thread first, http://en.miui.com/thread-565784-1-1.html . although the thread writes about flashing in fastboot mode, but it shouldn't differ alot from flashing in EDL mode, just follow the B part of the guide in the link, MIFlash should be able to detect your device and list it down as COM(number) .
As for the driver part, you shouldn't need to update anything if MIFlash can detect your device , as your computer already correctly detects it as QDLoader

Thankyou for your valuable reply. Miflash detecting device. But error in flash. Then removed back cover and removed battery connection also. Then Miflash flashed the rom successfully

could you explain it more?
I also dead briked my phone after install a11 and used qfil to flash some stuff in edl mode using test points,
I recommend using the right qualcomm driver 32 or 64 bits like your OS and also reboot after install driver,
I don't recommend open the back painel bcs even u doing it right it don't close well after bcs lose stickiness,
If u can just go to a service, they can manage with this better then u.
Same here. Even opened the back cover to touch the EDL points.
Tried getting out of that mode by flashing to stock ROM using the Mi Flash Tool as I'm getting a weird error, `Input string was not in the correct format`. even when using the very same input as I've seen on a YouTube Tutorial & I had also tried it out on the very same version of Flash Tool (and still got the error)

[OPNORD][OOS 11 AC01DA] Indian Unbrick tool to restore your device to OxygenOS 11

Disclaimer: By attempting any of the processes listed in this thread you accept full responsibility for your actions. I will not be held responsible if your device stops working, catches fire, or turns into a hipster and claims to have been modified before it was cool.
Hi everyone, here is the EDL packages (also known as MSM tools or unbrick tools) that can revive a bricked OnePlus Nord to Oxygen OS 11
You can also rollback your phone to a previous release of OOS with them if for some reason you would like to go back to an older firmware
You can download the following versions:
Only for Indian Devices
ANDROID 11:
[Mod Edit] Download link removed (URL shortener used to gain profit)
Instructions:
Launch MsmDownloadTool V4.0.exe.
On the login prompt select "Other" in the dropdown menu and click on Next.
Wait a few seconds until main window shows up.
Click on Target button and select India
Press Start button (this is done so that device will be "captured" automatically by tool instead of going back to normal boot after 10 seconds)
Power your device off.
Let it cool down for one minute.
Maintain volume up and volume down keys for at least 40 seconds to get into Qualcomm EDL mode.
Plug your device to your computer using stock OnePlus cable. (You may let volume keys go once done.)
Wait ~300 seconds.
Enjoy your brand new device.
FAQ:
Does this work on Mac or on Linux?
Unfortunately no, tool is Windows only. You should need at least Windows 7.
My device isn't detected
Go to device manager and make sure your phone shows up as QDLOADER 9008.
If it shows up as QHUSB_BULK, it means Qualcomm driver wasn't installed automatically by Windows Update. Download the latest one from Microsoft website at http://download.windowsupdate.com/c..._fba473728483260906ba044af3c063e309e6259d.cab (source https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=qualcomm hs usb 9008 ) and install it manually by right clicking on QHUSB_BULK and selecting "Update driver software" and "Browse my computer for driver software" to where you downloaded CAB file.
MSM tool is stuck on "Param pre-processing"
Ensure you're using the Qualcomm drivers linked above.
MSM tool is stuck on "Sahara communication failed"
Unplug your phone, get in fastboot mode, turn off phone, wait 15 secondes and get back in Qualcomm EDL mode. You can also try using a USB 2.0 port instead of a 3.0 one.
What is SMT Download mode?
Just don't try to unlock that mode, it will wipe your IMEI and your Widevine certificate if you use it.
