I picked up the Speck StyleFolio for the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2".
It will fit the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2" as well. The only issue, is that the location where the S-pen would be, remains open.
Everything else is great.
I had the Samsung flip case but I didn't like the lack of support it seemed to provide.
It looked like they just enlarged the 10.1" case with out doing any engineering.
The Samsung case seemed to sag to me. It couldn't support the large tablet correctly.
I really like this case.
The clasp ensures that your tablet is safe if you are walking around and accidentally drop it.
looks like a nice case.
Where the case slips in, is there a possibility of it getting scratched?

I highly doubt the case will scratch the tablet.
I haven't had any problems with scratches or dents.
I have a Note 4 with a Rearth Screen Protector and its S-Pen slides well. I put an Anker screen protector on my Note 12.2 and its no good with the S-Pen like if the material is different (harder). Rearth doesn't do 12.2 screen protectors, but are there any known brands that do one for the Note 12.2 that will work well with the S-Pen like the one on my Note 4?

Not sure what you mean by it's no good. Not knowing what feel you're looking for makes it hard to help.
Personally since I mainly just take notes with mine (I'm not an artist at all) I prefer the surface to be completely smooth/slick so a tempered glass screen protector (I'm using the Mime one) and the harder white tip in the S-Pen is my preferred setup.
On my note 4 the S-Pen glides smoothly and freely, but on the Note 12.2 it doesn't, it feels like if I am trying to glide on a rubber type surface.

Notice the ending of the pen. For my Note 3 I got a set of replaceable endings. Some of them were soft, giving feeling of a rubber-coated material, while others are hard like a plain plastic. Since I have a matte-finished protective film on my screen, I prefer the hard tip for my pen. At the same time, I'm using the soft tip for my Note Pro pen since I have no any protective film yet and such tip behaves better on plain Gorilla Glass.
By the way, I got no tips set with my Note Pro, but maybe because it was a refurbished tablet...

Never knew there were two different tips, but yes you were right, I changed it to the other one and now it glides smoothly. Thanks!

I have a case on my S6 that I want to use on my brand new S7 that I ordered, will it fit?
Yes, but not all of the cutouts will line up properly (i.e., headphone port). I am using a S6 case on mine temporarily until my S7 case is delivered in a few days.

As f308 said, the cutouts (especially the headphone port) are slightly misaligned.
Also, if you're looking at using a higher-end case, something like an OtterBox Defender of Lifeproof Fre, note that you'll have a problem with the buttons -- the S6 Defender's power and volume buttons are slightly off, and will cause the S7 to bootloop.
I have been on my Note 4 for a while. I was waiting to get the Note 7 as I need a bigger screen. With all the Note 7 issues.... looks like it will be a long wait.
I am trying to decide if I should just jump to the 7 edge or wait.
I need a hard case that allows wireless recharge, and tempered glass. I have been reading every where and it looks like this may be what keeps me in my note 4.
I need a larger screen so the regular s7 is too small.
I don't use the stylus very much so that is not an issue.
I read big sticky thread and seems a tempered glass that covers the whole phone is VERY much expensive AND it appears I cant use a hard case.
Any help would be nice. What case works with a reasonably priced tempered glass that covers the whole screen. If I have to give up wireless charging I will.
Thanks.
I can only speak for the vanilla S7 (as this is an S7 forum) but I use the Nillkin hard textured case. I've literally tried about 20 before I settled on it. It allows fitment of the Ultimate Shield Tempered Glass screen protector (with about 1/2mm clearance) and also allows wireless charging. The case is also very minimal and discrete but gives good coverage and protection and adds superb grip in the hand. I won't be buying another case until the phone's sold.

I currently have the Samsung book case for the tab s7+. I am having issues with the s pen coming loose and falling off. The book case with the tab s6 had a flap on the top back of the case that would cover the s pen so it couldn't fall off. The book case for the s7+ does not have this. Does anybody know of a case for the tab s7+ that does hold the s pen in place?

I like the supcase unicorn beetle. Not a book case though
I picked up a TiMOVO case from Amazon. It has elastic that holds the s pen in place. It feels a little more bulky than the book cover case but not to bad.
Spigen recently released (in the last month or so) a new book case. I think it's superior to Samsung's own book case. Offers a trifold front cover that can be folded back and also a spot to mount the s pen in the designated area on the back of the tablet. Link below if you're interested. I picked it up and it's been great.

Why don't you put the s-pen in the spot on the spine of the book cover? Mine has never fallen out when the case is closed. Everyone complains that their book cover doesn't hold the s-pen in place during transport when they leave it on the back even though the slot on the spine is completely protected. The only problem is that it doesn't charge there.
I got mine from Best buy Canada, Tucano brand, no magnet crap to mess up my S Pen, the only one that has no Smart cover thing.
Perfect protection of the pen.
Actually, so good that I had trouble getting the pen out so I cut off a few mm to make it easier

Take a look at the Fintie line of cases on Amazon. I've got one for the S7 and S5e, both look and feel great. I don't have actual experience with the one for the S7+ though.

Old thread, but I wanted to say I bought this one, too, and it is outstanding. Not much bulk, great protection, and the pen stays put.
I have both the original Keyboard Case and Book Cover Case. Been rocking the Keyboard case about 95% of the time. Its aweome, and I use my tablet for a lot of productivity, so its nice to have quick acess to keyboard. The pen is stored on the back, like it was on tab S6 Book cover.
On the book cover its stored inside the case. Also convenient.

You have to get a keyboard case for that. Like this.

This is the Poetic TurtleSkin. It's fat and rubbery but not sticky. I got it for less that $20. I had to get used to it but now I can say I'd buy it again. I also have the genuine book cover wich is well made but overpriced. And dealing with the pen seems like it was an afterthought.
The Spigen one runs for several inches along the back, and holds the s Pen firmly. Mine has never come loose.
